About as fresh as it can be. It's about $5 to get the cheapest sandwiches. The last time here they had the Spicy Seitan Wrap. Also they have a salad bar with all kinds of things you can put into a container. They have proteins including chicken and tempeh. Has quite a lot for a locally owned grocery. It's pretty okay as far as prices, because while it's not always cheap, there's also freshness and quality. The store has tons of items for vegans and vegetarians.

The concern is if the store's history and future potential becomes overshadowed by obnoxious behaviors and lose too many customers, over time, to stay afloat. I'm not yet ready to bail but am getting close, unfortunately, esp given alternative markets and/or online options for the same products.

The quiet and calm was cool, for a Thursday evening, not too shabby. We came across a lot of products we haven't seen before. Great options from a vast majority of gluten free to bring your own containers for pasta to help reduce waste. Plenty of signs to look at and read what we can do to be proactive with our bodies, lifestyle and the environment. I loved knowing this was a smaller scale.
