OH-NO, O'BAGEL!!!! I went in this week and they raised their in-store bagel price to $1.95 from $1.50, a 30% increase in one day!!!! And their on-line price went up 50% to $2.25!!!! For what is essentially this little tiny piece of dough! It's truly unbelievable. Bagels-4-u is $1.60, Bagel Chateau is $1.40, and Babba's Bagels are $1.30. Why is O'Bagel such scum, ripping off the hard-working public. We need to fight this corporate greed (they are a multi-store chain), band-together, and not shop there!! O'Bagel should be ashamed. My salary hasn't gone up 30% over the last 20 Years, much less one day as at O'RipOff!! Don't go there!! The bagels are nothing great, just to add further insult. STAY AWAY! read more

The bagels are lighter, which I like. I love smoked salmon but it's cut unevenly with some pieces thick, some thin. What disturbs me is that the two larger women who make the sandwiches, and cut the salmon STILL ONLY WEAR ONE GLOVE and touch counters/meats and their faces! One lady was eating in the back WHILE CUTTING THE SALMON! I did file a complaint w the town as that is gross. No changes. Still the two women touch everything with a non gloved hand. I'm really torn about how to rate O'Bagel. I think it's around the 4.5 area. Texturally, this is an INCREDIBLE bagel -- perfect crunch on the outside without being messy or burnt, while wonderfully doughy on the inside. Everything I, personally, look for in an ideal bagel. What I didn't like is the amount of cream cheese they give you (I'm sorry, this is Jersey -- it should have twice that amount on there, more than looks reasonable) as well as the cost (a small coffee, a bagel with cream cheese, and a totally plain everything bagel was $10), hence the less-than-five-star rating. But I am a customer for life, for sure. It's just that I'll take my bagels home and put cream cheese on them myself. read more

I normally go to bagels-for-u in Warren, but occassionally stop here since it's a little closer to me, and it's by my favorite dunkin. But after my last interaction with the snobby older lady behind the counter I think I'll opt for better service at my familiar spot. I always order the same thing.. a toasted everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese.. salt, pepper, ketchup. And I always leave a tip. However they've given me taylor ham instead of bacon the last three times I've ordered. He let the older hispanic lady know (who had made my sandwich).. she gave me a long nasty look, grabbed the sandwich from him, and went over to the register to check and see if I had actually ordered bacon. I did (the guy told me). She gave me another nasty look, didn't say a word, and walked away with the sandwich. She stood behind the bagel display, staring at the sandwich.. I guess debating on what to do? She looked up and saw me looking at her, and threw the bagel away. She went on to make a new one, and instead of handing it to me, she got another lady from the back to come out and hand it to me. I didn't so much as get a sorry. The whole experience was uncalled for, and she desperately needs an attitude adjustment. If the manager was there I'm sure she wouldn't have acted like that. I debated on leaving this review, because the manager is a very nice guy, and I know he would've handled the situation much better. However, I know she's been there for awhile.. Such a rip off! The bagels are decent, fresh and small. However, if want to a get bagel ($1.50) with cream cheese, it's literally $3.00 additional just for two swipes of cream cheese. Recently remodeled and changed the bagel recipes. Both abject failures. Confusion reigns as all signage has disappeared and people just mull around trying to figure where to order while the staff ignore them for the most part. I would endure this if the bagels were good, but they are now worse than Dunkin' Donuts which is in the same complex. What was once a great everything bagel has turned into a nothing bagel. This place can be hit or miss at times. Often I've been blown away and at other times my order has been completely wrong or the food has been enghh. It's local though and mostly decent so I come here often when I have a bagel craving. There are three O'bagel locations in the area but this one is probably the closest for my fiance and I. All of them have very limited seating but this one is slightly larger. If you prefer eating-in at your bagel joints then you will be surely disappointed in the amount of seating space they have. The other two locations are smaller than this one however so this O'bagel is probably your best bet. Also, this place tends to be a favorite hang out for all the local kids on the weekends and gets very crowded. It will feel like a high school cafeteria come late Saturday-Sunday morning. Be prepared to feel old. FYI-They accept credit cards but state a 10 dollar minimum at the register. read more

I honestly would give this place 0 stars if I could. I went a few months ago, and the worker handed me scalding hot coffee without the lid on correctly, and it spilled all over me and my car, but I let it go because it was an honest mistake. Then today, I called in a bagel order for two bagels, and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I showed up, and the order still wasn't ready, but I waited. Then five or six people came in after I ordered and received their bagels before me. I was waiting for half an hour at least, and when I finally said something, the owner started making excuses about how one of her employees messed up the order. She saw me standing there for half an hour and not once notified me that the order needed to be re-done--horrible customer service for subpar bagels. What a pleasant surprise. This little shop located in the apartment complex shopping mall and doing it well. You can get your coffee, breakfast sandwich and of course PHILLY CHEESE STEAK. I was lucky enough to beat the lunch traffic by getting there just a bit early. I did NOT think that the service was bad at all. I've gone here many times, and each time, you get a "what do you want" and that's it. No good morning, no positive vibes nothing.
