What should have been an exciting vehicle purchase turned into one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. After we had completed negotiations and agreed on a final purchase price, I was presented with paperwork to sign. At that point, I was informed that the dealership had "made a mistake" with the VIN and that the vehicle I was supposedly purchasing actually cost an additional $6,000. This was not disclosed until the last minute, after the deal had already been finalized. Furthermore, the dealership refused to honor the price that was advertised on its website and the price we had already agreed upon. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic and was extremely deceptive and unprofessional. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership. My experience left me with serious concerns about their honesty, transparency, and business practices. read more

I had a great experience with Desean and his coworkers. The process was smooth and easy. They were even flexible with my work schedule!!

Today, I had my Jeep Cherokee serviced at Nyle Maxwell Killeen. This was my second time having my vehicle serviced at this location. Overall, the service itself was satisfactory. I believe my Jeep received the maintenance it required, and I paid for the additional services recommended based on the mechanic's assessment. However, the lack of customer-service awareness is concerning and reflects poorly on the business. There are several areas that management and corporate leadership should review and address. I sincerely hope they do, because unresolved customer-service issues will eventually lead to lost business. When I arrived, Alexandria was helpful, polite, and efficient in getting me checked in. I asked about the differences between the synthetic and full synthetic oil options used by the dealership, such as 0W-20, 0W-30 etc.. She was unable to answer but honestly referred me to another associate who could provide more information. I appreciated her honesty and willingness to direct me to someone more knowledgeable. That said, service associates who are responsible for checking customers in and documenting requested services should be trained to answer basic questions about common maintenance items, including oil types and their differences. Customers rely on these employees to help them make informed decisions about their vehicles during the check-in process. This is a level of service I have experienced at other dealerships, and it appears to be an area that could be improved through additional training. My second concern occurred during checkout. I asked about certain charges and the acronyms or terminology listed on my invoice. The associate's (Alexandria) tone came across as annoyed, as though I should already know the meaning of the terms or should not be asking questions. I had to explain that I was asking because I did not know, and as a paying customer, I am entitled to understand exactly what I am being charged for. I recently returned from a nine-month rotation, and much has changed while I was away. Visiting a dealership for the first time since returning and receiving a lack of care, patience, and understanding was disappointing. There appears to be a significant gap in customer-service knowledge and training across the automotive, food, and retail industries. As prices continue to increase, the customer experience must improve as well. Businesses of all sizes, including large corporations, will continue to lose customers if they do not prioritize their employees: professionalism, clear communication, and respectful service. For these reasons, I plan to take my business to a different dealership moving forward. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This is by the WORST car dealership I've ever dealt with in my life. Why people continue to go here without considering prior customer reviews is beyond me. The salespeople blatantly lie about the vehicles (ikr show me an honest salesperson), the service dept is run by Valerie who is unprofessional, price gouges, and a flat-out LIAR, and the mechanical work is Untrustworthy. Before having my mom's vehicle towed there (it still had a warranty--otherwise I would've towed it somewhere else for service), the car wouldn't start. Long Short story: they wanted to charge me over $2K for a hole in the battery (there wasn't a hole in it when I turned the car over to them), a new fuse array, and a new starter. I would rather give negative stars or none at all. Will definitely be filing a report with the BBB for shady and objectionable business tactics read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to obtain a replacement key on covered under an extended warranty. Was treated very poorly service person Blake and Jessica. After saying I would use Benny Boyd instead Jessica did try to offer service. But it shouldn't be difficult to obtain a key fob, which an alternate dealer was able to take care of in less than an hour. read more

I don't know how this place has less than three stars. This is the best dealership I've ever dealt with Kyle provided exceptional customer service. And they never pushed any extra unwanted packages I had to purchase. I was able to finance through my bank without any penalty and they didn't require any money down. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone wanting to purchase a car. read more

Terrible dishonest dealership!!! I found the specific jeep wrangler I wanted on Carfax and it was located at this dealership. I made an appointment with them to come see it. I received emails from 4 different people confirming my appointment to see this jeep. I rented a car and drove the 150 miles up there. When we arrived we stood around for 20 minutes without one employee acknowledging us or even a "hello" or "can I help you?" I finally found an employee and told him we had an appointment with Cedric. He spent another 10 minutes looking for him. When he was finally found he acted like he wasn't expecting us at all or didn't know why we were there, even though he was one of the emails confirming our appointment. He takes us out to the used car lot and says he has no idea where it is in this huge lot and just leaves us there in the hot sun. We looked around and couldn't find it so walked back to the air conditioned building to speak to a sales manager who also acted like he never heard of us. He also had sent an email the day before confirming our appointment. So Cedric comes over and tells us they keep all the keys next door at the Dodge dealership and takes us over there. He comes back out after about 10 minutes and says he had some bad news, that they had already sold it to someone else. I spent a week negotiating with them about this particular Jeep even offered a deposit to hold it until I could get up there to see it, and they said it wasn't necessary and that they would have it for me to look at. Then they sold it out from under me and didn't bother to let me know when they knew that I was driving 3 hours up there to come see it not even a text message or email letting me know that it was sold. I spent $100 on a rental car and gas and wasted 6 hours roundtrip for nothing to be told it was an oversight and they will try to do better. read more

They advertised free chicken and sausage on memorial day 2026. Figured it be a good time to check out the hemi engine. They had no sausage and the chicken was raw and bloody. Easy in and out service buying a vehicle. Less than two hours and we were done. Henry was our sales rep, Nice young man.

My boyfriend and I had one of the most unprofessional experiences we've ever encountered at a dealership. We had been in direct communication with two employees, Cinnamon and Blake, about a specific vehicle and even rearranged our weekend plans to drive over an hour to see it. Less than an hour before our arrival, we confirmed details with Cinnamon--only to show up and be told the vehicle had already been sold the night before. This level of miscommunication and disregard for customers' time is unacceptable. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with the General Manager about the situation, we were told they were "in a meeting." A staff member then said they would get us the manager's business card, but came back claiming no one had the keys to the office where the cards were kept. That kind of excuse perfectly sums up the lack of professionalism we experienced from start to finish. This dealership clearly has serious issues with communication, accountability, and basic customer service. After this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here--save yourself the wasted time and frustration. read more

If you look at my reviews on Yelp, I lean heavily on providing 4-5 star reviews. (Full Disclosure: I have worked at car dealerships in sales for about 7 years total in my younger years). I purchased mid-October, 2025, a 2013 Audi S8. During the test drive I asked my sales person, "Does everything work on this car?" He said, "yes." Me (stupidly) trusting the word of and reputation of the staff and sales people of Nyle Maxwell Killeen ended up in having them refuse to repair the radio (no volume) and the cruise control (inoperable) on literally the day they delivered the car to me. This is the ultimate of rank dishonesty and lack of integrity. The Used Car Manager refused to consider making it right. My sales person was otherwise pleasant (Desean), but the buyer MUST BEWARE, and NEVER trust anyone with this dealership without personally verifying EVERYTHING. It could otherwise cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. My recourse is to suck it up and pay for it myself, OR, sue them; i have not yet decided what to do. I will consult with legal counsel. The last time I sued someone was 52 years ago. It was about a car. I won then. read more

If I can give it zero stars, I would. Test drive used 2024 Toyota with 10k miles or less and was told it was in my budget but when they ran the papers, they tried to get me to sign for a 2018 Toyota with over 100k miles with a higher payment and to make it even worse, I haven't test drive the vehicle. I have had my jeep gladiator for three years. Each year when in for service I complained about a consistent noise from rear of gladiator, this being the third year with out resolution of problem and about to run out of warranty I again mentioned the noise, after being in dealership for 8 days the dealership ordered new shocks which two weeks to come into the dealership, oh I had to call to find that shocks were in as no one called me to update. So I took gladiator back now for the fourth time, the shocks were installed and problem was not fixed you can imagine my mental anguish, when I brought this to the attention of service manager, Austin, he wrote me back a quite defensive unapologetic text. Saying the aging of the gladiator is natural to cause noise, Gladiator has only 26,000 miles. Sales people great at this dealership but be aware of the service department read more

I took my 21 Ram in for service. They replaced the cams and lifters. Got my truck back and a little over a month later I lost all power to the truck. Had it towed into Mac Haik Temple and conclusion was that a ground wire that was taken off when the lifters and cams were replaced was missing a nut that caused the truck to lose power. Of course, Nyle is saying because I had someone else work on it, and not them (which if it was running rough i would have taken it back to Nyle but for no power issue I took it to the closest dealer to me) and it was a month later they are not reimbursing me the $609.00 that Mac Haik Temple charged me for the labor and tow bill to figure the problem. No one else would have taken a ground wire off other than Nyle maxwell to perform the work they did (that's the exact ground it says to take off to perform that work). Nyle Maxwell is saying there is no way that it would have ran that long without the nut on the ground wire. I don't agree with that at all. Funny part is they are the only dealership that worked on my truck prior to it losing power. Either the tech didn't tighten the nut all the way or just plum forgot to put it on. I had a head casket that blew and when I went to take it here to get fixed the total was like over 3600$ the same day they gave my car back my hood filled up with smoke and I was on the side of the road. I paid to get my car towed back here where they had my car for a week and charged me almost 300$ then a week after having my car I'm getting on the highway on my way home from getting my son from therapy which is in belton my hood filled up with smoke and jerked so hard I had to pull to the side of the road with both my kids cause the car was filled with smoke. I paid to get it towed back here again , they then had my car for two weeks and when I received the diagnosis it wasn't even for the engine it was for every little thing not in the engine to be fixed which totaled to over 4900$ they then told me I had to pay that first before even looking into the engine. I expressed how they took my whole tax refund and more including the rowing fees and Keagan was the man that was suppose to be helping me but he did not care one bit and did not show any type of empathy until I said I wanted to talk to the manager. (This was on the phone when I broke down for the third time) I then have my sister pick me and my kids from the side of the road and I headed straight to the service part to talk to him and also meet the tow truck guy that was dropping my car off. When I got there Keagan left for the day and did not reach out to me until I had I had to call. This place pretty much stole money from me because I'm still without a car because this place never fixed my car there made it seem like it was okay until I drive off and when something bad happens which it did three times they gave me such attitude because I'm having a panic attack cause I have no more money to give them and I desperately need my car cause i take my son twice a week for therapy in belton. After I told them I can't pay the almost five grand he said I had to get my car and pay the $220 diagnostic fee. Today I go to get my car and one they couldn't find my keys and then the dude I was working with (Keagan) was at lunch so another gentleman helped me and said that hopefully Keagan cause waive the fee due to all this craziness they have put me through. When he calls Keagan I can hear him get an attitude and said no she has to pay and once they got off the phone he apologized about all that's going on but because Keagan has been dealing with my car he can't help waive the fee. I'm so broke behind this and still have a car that smells like a bbq cause my car fills up with smoke I'm stuck paying on my car I can't drive and these people do not give not one fuck about you. I have been considering civil suit but I had to tell my story to warn people about this place and how they will try to take every penny you have but doesn't even fix the issue but will make sure to charge you 0/10 read more

This place sucks. The people who work there are rude and unprofessional. After being ignored by every employee who was there I finally found the parts counter. There was no one there. Very, very disappointed and upset with Nyle Maxwell Dodge in killeen, Tx. My husband shopped for a pickup truck for many months. He finally found exactly what he had been looking for at Nyle Maxwell per owned "certified " car lot. With the belief that we were at a reputable dealership and purchasing a "certified" vehicle. He purchased his truck in May, was given a power train warranty. (What a joke) The first few days after having the truck we noticed a leak in the passenger side front floor board. Brought it in and it was addressed and fixed right away at no cost to us. As it should have been! A few months later we started hearing a rubbing-thumbing sound in the front driver's side tire. We brought it in immediately. We were told they would check it out and do a multipoint inspection and let us know what was going on. And as long as we had any repairs done there we wouldn't be charged for the multipoint inspection. A few days after dropping it off we received an estimate for over $5000! Saying that his front and back brakes needed to be replaced along with the driver side hub bearings and upper ball joints loose sway bar links and upper control arms. And told it all needed to be replaced quickly due to safety concerns. And that the hub bearing was disintegrating. ( upon research this takes years and lots of miles to get to this point) So this on the less than 4 months owed "certificate"vehicle! We went to see a manager Shawn, who also noticed that both front and back brakes passed their "multipoint inspection" yet we were being advised to have both replaced. Shawn said he'd speak with the service department and get back with us. Needless to say, we had to contact him because he never reached out to us. He then checked on the power train warranty we got when purchasing the truck, and what do you know, it would have covered the cost on a 4 wheel drive but of course not on a 2 wheel drive! Wow! Shawn then pretty much blew us off and said there wasn't anything else he could do for us and directed us to see if we could get possible discounts on the parts through the service department. We were told that it was a mistake that the back brakes were added to the estimate, but the front brakes definitely needed to be changed ( although both passed their multipoint inspection on the original paperwork) . So they basically just took the back brakes off the estimate and a small insignificant discount on the other parts. My husband also explained that this truck was his income as it is needed to do his job. They had the truck for over a week. And we had to call and remind them that we needed this vehicle back! We walked out paying over $3800.00 on our lees than 4 month old "certified vehicle ". That should have never been allowed off the lot with the dangerous defects that it had! We will definitely be driving out of town to a more reputable dodge dealership for future maintenance. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. My husband and I have both lived in killeen all of our lives and always try to support our local businesses! Nyle Maxwell dodge will not be receiving any future business from us. read more

Rude and unprofessional. I called about my recall on my vehicle last summer. They gave me an appointment and told me they would have my car all day. When I showed up for my appointment they told me they didn't have the parts and I would have to wait a year and a half for them. Why was I told they would have my car all day when they took 2 minutes to scan my car and hand me back my keys And put my vehicle on the list. And my husband took time off work to pick me up and didn't need to, because I didn't need to be picked up. Over 6 months later I called to find out where my vehicle is on that list. The parts guy they transferred me to said they have the parts in and the vehicle can be repaired this week or next, I just need to make an appointment. The service guy who was supposed to make my appointment was rude and extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Turns out my vehicle can't be fixed because I am 40 people down on the list. He didn't say this nicely to me. He didn't apologize that the parts guy was mistaken. Instead he expected me to know how long his list is without him telling me and for me not to ask "okay about how far down the list am I?" And "about how much longer do you think it will be?" And when I asked these questions he hung up on me. When I called I didn't expect that they would say my car can be fixed this week or next. I expected to be told that it would be about a year or less since I have been waiting over 6 months but definitely not a year and a half. These people can't handle appointments, parts, or questions Why would I trust my vehicle to them? read more

Absolutely the worst people to ever work for, except for Mike young who has been an amazing help. Was employed for a month and a half with no help, no training, and constantly battling the management. I've been in the business for a long time, and this is the first time I've had my own clients go back to Nissan in temple (which are amazing people through and through) because I know they won't be treated the same way as they should be treated. If you have to shop here, talk to Mike young, do NOT work with anyone else management wise. This company does not care to make their employees successful and does not care about making the best service for their customers. Never in my life have I worked for a company that will throw you to the wolves and tell you to figure it out, just to turn you away because you have questions in regards to helping the customer. I will be contacting everyone I can in regards to the matter, however, I am assuming it will be the same as having a customer, brushed to the side. One star because I can't leave a review if I don't give at least one. In July I brought my Fiat in because my check engine light came on. My car was under the extended warranty as I told them. When I picked it up at the end of the day, Josh, my service advisor told me I owed $199 for a diagnostic fee because the car "did not have anything wrong other than a loose cable." That seems a bit extreme but I went ahead and paid the amount because I needed my car. When I got to my car, part of the door handle fell off when I went to get into it. I went back inside and showed Josh and he said he would look into the video and see what happened. He asked if I could bring my car back the next day, but due to my husband being out of town, I could not get it back the next day which I told him as Iive 25 miles outside of Killeen and could not go without a car. I contacted Josh several other times and kept being put off. I made a stupid decision to try to fix this myself since I could not get any response from Josh and that proved to be a bad choice. I took the door apart and realized I had the wrong part. Luckily I was able to drive my husband's vehicle since he had been put on leave due to an amputation and since I was the only person in our household with the ability to shop, cook, clean, do laundry, oh, and WORK, I had to let this go until we ended up needing this vehicle. I tried to get in touch with a service manager in Austin since I had not been successful dealing with Josh in Killeen and got no response. I then went through the website trying to get a response and again got no response even though I was told the service manager would be in contact with me that day. I finally called and had to leave a message for the service manager. I finally received a response asking for me to bring the car by to have them look at it. The resolution was they gave me the broken part but was told they would not help me reconnect the parts inside the door because I took it apart and it would cost them a minimum of $400 to fix this. However, if JOSH had taken care of me, this would have never been the issue. The service manager, Austin, in my opinion, is an over-pumped JERK and rude. He takes up for his staff that does not do their job over the customer. Although not from this Nyle Maxwell but from one of the other Nyle Maxwells we have purchased our last 4 vehicles totaling at least 150K. We have purchased our last from Nyle. I visited the dealership on 11/23. Rob Carter came out to introduce himself and walked the lot with me several times over just browsing different vehicles. After 45 minutes or so found a Jeep Rubicon that seemed to be what I was looking for. Rob was confident we could make a deal with what I brought to the table. Rob understood not everyone walks around with an 800+ credit score. As it was getting late in the day and Thanksgiving eve we decided to pick back up on the deal Friday. Friday 11/25 - Rob called me and let me know he was working on it. After several phone calls and text going back and forth on price and trade in value we struck a deal that was equitable for both of us. Drove to the dealership, traded in a '14 Durango and left with a '23 Rubicon. Rob was zero pressure , along with Chris the floor manager. These guys are what dealerships need to make the buying experience pleasant and stress free. This is my fourth vehicle from the Nyle Maxwell dealership group. NYLE MAXWELL, CDJR, KILLEEN TEXAS: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk on May 27, 2022 from Nyle Maxwell in Killeen Texas for $26,367.33, which was a one owner at 36,000 miles. I was told by Nyle Maxwell that there was a full engine diagnostic test done on the vehicle and throughly inspected by their trained mechanics and that there were no issues with the Jeep. Still I purchased extended vehicle warranty from Endurance. I found out 1 week later after registering my vehicle with MOPAR that the Jeep had 12 previous completed recalls. I was not given this information at the initial purchase. Approximately 2 months later on August 24, 2022; and another diagnostic test ran the lift gate would need $1,200 dollars to repair and the warranty would not cover it. Now 6 months later January 19,2023; while driving the Jeep it slipped in neutral. Their Service Department told me to bring the vehicle in at 8:00AM the next morning. After another diagnostic test, I was told that there was a serious issue with the transfer case and the vehicle slipped into neutral as a safety mechanism because the transfer case could have EXPLODED sending metal parts into the engine and the transmission causing the vehicle to no longer be operable. They said this was a very hazardous and serious safety issue and I was advised not to drive the Jeep. This could have caused a serious accident causing injury to me, my family or God forbid someone else! The price to repair is $3,800 dollars and maybe 2 months on parts. Today they still have my vehicle and still approximately 2 months before parts come in. Again the warranty company after sending their inspector to look at the vehicle said they would not cover the repair. How could this happen after 2 previous diagnostic tests ran and no mention of any Hazardous Safety Issues! I immediately made a report with NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). According to Vehicle History.com on Feb 3, 2022; discusses numerous safety issues with the 2014-2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk models with 12 recalls issued and over 2,100 complaints received by the NHTSA, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee has proven to be problematic. Reported issues include transmission failure, oil leaks, engine stalling, unexpected airbag deployment, build quality issues, lift gate erosion, transfer case and more. Many customers had to replace parts more than one time. Nyle Maxwell offered $11,000 for my vehicle if I purchased a newer Jeep which would rollover approximately $13,000 to the other used vehicle costing $45,000-$50,000 dollars and leaving me with a $700-$800 monthly vehicle payment. I do not want the same problems and requested a preowned Nissan, Honda, Toyota or GMC trade but Nyle Maxwell said my vehicle has too much negative equity to make that deal. Yes the negative equity from a vehicle they knew had serious safety engine and transmission issues according to NHTSA. As a customer when buying from a dealership you expect a vehicle free of hazardous safety issues at the very least but you shouldn't have to worry about the vehicle exploding or causing a serious accident! When I made a complaint to BBB Nyle Maxwell was not completely truthful! read more

Hi! I was just browsing through a few vehicles on line at Nyles Maxwell website. I was interested in a Ram pickup truck. I happened to me a young salesman that was very courtesy. He was professional and knowledgeable. The purchase was quick and easy. I would recommend him to new buyers. Thanks Alvinwest22@yahoo.com read more

Do not waste your time here. Management is horrible and the sales manager is very unprofessional. Complete waste of your time trying to even explain what you can and can't afford because they brush everything you say off and still try to sell you the most expensive thing they can. They misconstrue everything you say and miscalculated all of my numbers on the final sale. Complete Nightmare. Also they offer bare minimum. No complementary oil changes on new vehicles when you buy, no detail upgrades, NOTHING!!! I left with my truck the first night, and it still took three days before I was completely done with this place. after the experience I had, I felt it was necessary to notify the general manager because nobody should ever have to go through that kind of experience. Unfortunately he sided with his people and apologized and washed his hands of me. Turn 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Just to leave a review I have to put a star but they don't deserve that! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM! Less than 2 weeks from having my can we had to replace the tires and when we brought it up to them they claimed the tires were "in brand new condition" and that in the time we had it we must have driven it a-lot(we didn't and not enough to cause the wires in the tires to be showing). We went with Nyle Maxwell because they had what I wanted but in the long run it has not been worth it with the amount of issues my car has had! I truly feel like they just do the bare minimum to cars to get it to pass inspection so they can sell them! read more

We bought our vehicle a year ago from Christy who really helped us out . Everyone was super nice and attentive . When we got to the contract stage somethings were wrong , but they worked with us to get it fixed . Over all pretty happy! read more

So I brought my truck in for service since I had two service messages in my dash. First one was service air suspension and second one was service towing sensor. So after the dealership holding on to my truck for over a half day the service technician who is their suspension expert stated I needed a new batter with more cranking amps than what the factory suggest I put into my vehicle. That the battery I had which was two weeks old was no good. So he said I should go buy a larger battery from Midas. I then took my vehicle to MacHaik dodge in Temple and they determined it was a leaking air bag. Once they replaced the air bag there were no more service messages and the truck has ran fine since, over 6 months now. Moral of the story take your vehicle to a reputable dealership that actually employs certified mechanics that can diagnose your vehicle's issues correctly. I even spoke to the service technician at Nyle Maxwell and he swore it was a battery issue. Did he verify it with the computer or was it just laziness or maybe just incompetence. read more
