This was by far the best experience Ive had at a dealership. From Joseph, Mackenzie and the Tech Erick, they were all very courteous and professional. I was driving by from out of town and my car completely brokedown. I had to tow it in to Don Ringler Toyota when I got there aI was greeted by my service advisor mackenzie who was absolutely wonderful. She asvised me of the process and that if they didnt have enough time to look at my vehicle, they would loan me a car. Joseph underwtood my situation and provided the loaner. Went into this dealership looking for a specific vehicle we had already seen a few days earlier. Unfortunately it sold before we came back, which was completely understandable and not an issue. What became the issue was everything that happened afterward. The dealership assured us it would be "super easy" to locate the exact vehicle we wanted and had us move forward with a credit application based on numbers they quoted us at around a $900/month payment. We trusted what we were being told and allowed them to run our credit. For the next two weeks, we were repeatedly told they were searching for the vehicle and gave the impression everything was progressing normally. Then suddenly we were told the vehicle would actually need to be custom ordered from Toyota because it supposedly wasn't easy to get after all. On top of that, the original payment numbers they wrote up were somehow "completely wrong," and the actual payment would now be around $1,400/month -- a massive difference that should never happen if the numbers were calculated honestly and professionally from the start. So after weeks of wasted time, multiple misleading statements, and an unnecessary hit to our credit, we ended up with no vehicle and zero accountability from the dealership. Looks like nee management and team has now created and aggressive your presence is power and does not give vehicle appraisals over the phone. Coupled with aggressive sales tactics by the manager and negative speaking against competition stating they will beat any trade value by 500 minimum however still being unable to give me their best value for my vehicle on the phone. They state they wont crew the customer over but when i gave a lowball example of how they used to discuss trade-for my vehicle: they jumped and said if we gave you that would you buy today question. The manager knew the number was horridly below market value and if i had said yes it would prove they are out to screw the customer. Bring back the old team. Not this lion pouncing, fast talking, trash talking manager/ team they have now. I respect a dealership talking about what they can do not talking about what others cant. I finally made the switch from being dedicated to the Ford brand for many years since I bought my first American made truck. My first vehicles were Nissan mini trucks and Hondas. There I loved my Ford vehicles until the recent decade and years. With today's prices and interest rates it's hard to find a great reliable vehicle even brand new. I did a lot of research on my own and also have a friend who has worked at a Ford factory and the Toyota factory down in San Antonio. He said Toyotas make great quality products compared to Ford these days. The numbers show true per consumer reports. My best friend who recommended me to this dealership bought two vehicles from here. I have known him half my life and I know he would not lead me wrong either. He knew I was already looking for a new vehicle, specifically a truck. With my mind set on the 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited with 6.5 regular size bed and not the 5.5 short bed. Also, it had to be blue! Why because if I am going to be paying for a brand new vehicle I am going to get what I want and not settle. Needless to say my best friend and his sales person Lauri Bailey found the truck I wanted, it was right before mine and my best friend's trip to Vegas. I said if it is it meant to be, it will be there when I return. And upon return from our trip it was still there. Lauri had the truck I wanted setup and a TRD pro truck. The cool thing was I wasn't even interested in the TRD PRO, why because the bed was a 5.5 short bed. Lauri was not pushy at all with me from the sales perspective. She gave me time to think about everything. She was so helpful in every way. She made my experience here one I will never forget. The finance gurus ran the numbers with my credit score, with in the next hour they called me to one of their offices settle the deal. Overall, I was expecting to be here all day because that's what usually happens when you go to a new dealership in buying a vehicle. Everyone here was friendly as can be and helpful. Quite honestly I did stay here from 9:30am until about 3-4pm that day. But that was because I wanted the darker ceramic window tint on my Tundra, had I not waited for the window tint, I believe I would have been done with my purchase around 11:30am that morning. Pretty amazing in my book! I did request to get my Enduring Freedom Veteran license plates carried over but that didn't happen unfortunately. I will just have to wait the two years when it is time for my renewal. I am very impressed with the time of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Everyone here treated me with upmost respect and never did I feel discriminated or look down on. I am would recommend Lauri for your sales person all the way! They keep having my Google review removed but I will keep posting it because the buyers deserve to know the truth. Never trust a car dealership. Bruce wentz is extremely arrogant and pushy. Incompetent staff I had emailed about an SUV this summer to ask if there was a carfax report they could give me. I also asked some other questions about this specific vehicle. I figured it was wrecked because of the low price but wanted to see what carfax had to say. All I received were automated emails asking about my trade. Forget about a trade, I never even mentioned one, how about I get a real human to see my message and respond. I also don't appreciate being put on their list to get their nonstop emails that have nothing to do with the questions I was trying to answer. Their customer service is nonexistent. I went by here recently despite all this to see a similar vehicle. Right away I was being asked about my trade and they were judging my current vehicle. Again, I never mentioned anything about trading and do not want or need to get rid of my vehicle for a new one. I sensed a good bit of discrimination and racist undertones from this place. Service department is worthless. Took my Tacoma in for an oil change. Leaked oil all over the garage a couple days later. Took it to the service department to be told that it's typical for the drain plug washer to not be fully tightened - no apology offered. Whenever I change my oil I never forget to tighten the drain plug enough that it would cause a leakage. Same service person went further by telling me I had a radiator hose leak that would cost $50. Even though I had literally brought a certified Toyota in a few days before for oil change and inspection. No mention of leak. Besides that the mechanic tore of the oil change sticker and left it in the console. Waste of time and money to let anyone with no pride touch my truck again. read more

A bit overdue with this review however wanted to recognize Cliff in the parts department for his facilitation a month or so ago of a scratch repair as well as minor bumper adjustment needed Cliff advised that I go visit his colleagues in the body shop located onsite. Upon pulling up to the body shop I was warmly greeted by Able who stepped away from work he was doing on another vehicle, listened to my needs then took my car to the back. He made a quick repair to the loose bumper and even touched up the few scratches too. On top of this he handed me a small bottle of paint such that I could address future scratches on my vehicle! When I asked about charges I was flabbergasted to receive a simple smile and a comment of no charge-happy to serve you. Great teamwork! read more

Sales side: I had a great experience. I didn't feel like they were trying to bullsh*t me into a car, and I didn't feel rushed. When it was time to negotiate it was reasonable and fair, for my trade in and price of the vehicle. No problems, and would definitely come back here to deal with these people again. Service side: These guys are the cream of the crop and a huge asset to Don Ringler. It's rare to find a dealership with people you feel you can trust to hand your keys over to. I much prefer Don Ringler Toyota over Toyota of Killeen for their pricing & helpfulness, but was disappointed in their windshield replacement policy. Although they are listed on my auto policy, Geico, as a provider, they require the customer to pay out of pocket & wait to get reimbursed by Safelite. Since I was quoted approximately $1300, I found another Auto Glass business in town which agreed to replace my windshield & file my insurance for $101, the deductible on my policy. read more

Service center is pretty poor. Brought in tundra for 35k mile service, pretty basic. Much of the service checklist they did was blank. I asked about this and the service manager said that was normal. Tires pressures were documented as filled way over the amount posted in the driver side air pressure placards. I asked about this and the service manager said they do that on purpose so that when I drive and my tires heat up, that I would not loose air. I pointed out that driving heat would expand the air volume and increase the pressure even more exaggerating the already over filled tire issue. He said oh yeah. I asked about the placard stating it should be 35psi in the front tires and 33psi in the rear and why they were all filled to 39psi, no response. I asked why the full size spare was not checked for pressure at all, he said they never check that. (What good is a spare if it has no air pressure?) I only thought that, did not ask it as the conversation on tire pressure was going nowhere. Rear break lining was marked as "yellow" requiring service soon. I had to figure this out for myself as they never said anything. Guess they did not want me to go back. Price was average ifthe work was actually done, which I have little confidence in. I'll go elsewhere at 40k service for sure. **As you can see Abigail states a manager would contact me. It's been over a week, no contact, no message, no nothing. My experience with them has been reinforced as a normal, not an outlier. read more

Disappointing service encounter. Bought my Tacoma new from Don Ringler, noted a loose trim piece that kept flying off in the car wash. Tried to get a weekend service appointment, but those are rare as hen's teeth and book far into the future. So, I took a weekday appt when I had some scheduled leave. I booked online and stipulated "loose trim piece on the roofline" as the reason. I got a million automated reminders about my appt time and showed up as scheduled. The service clerk couldn't have been less interested. "Oh, you have to book trim repair through the body shop". Well, no one must have reviewed the reason for my appointment because in the million reminders I never got a call from a human saying, "hey, these are handled through the body shop, let me shift your appt over to them". She was kind enough to call the body shop and of course they couldn't fix my problem today... they'll scheduling for another day later in the week, burning even more leave on something that should have been addressed at this appointment. This is "useless service visit" #2 from Don Ringer. I'd tried to drop by when my "change oil" alert popped up, since I've got the two year free oil change thing going. But of course there's no drop-in oil change service and weekends are booked into the distant future. Very disappointing. Love the truck and have always gotten superior service from Toyota dealers, but no this one. It was clear that their service staff couldn't care less and that no human looks at service requests in advance of the appointment. My next truck will be purchased somewhere else. read more

Trying to resolve this with Don Ringler and get nothing but voicemails and no return phone calls. So now I am reporting the car missing with my insurance and law enforcement. This company is unprofessional and pulls every scam in the book it is legally allowed to to push that extra buck for them. We have filed a formal complaint with Toyota sending them the proper proof and come to find out we are not the first as of late. We went here because of the good reviews but sadly our experience was bad. They didn't put one of our tire valve caps back so we called them and they told us to swing by to get it back. When we got there they put one in, however it was a generic one. We did not realize this until we got home. We thought they would have just put the original one back on, not some random one. I called them up again and I explained our situation to the person that they just put some generic cap and not the original part and I asked them if there was anything they can do to fix this. For them to even forget to put the original part back in the first place is very frustrating and having to come back here just for them to make a mistake again. The person I talked to kept saying he works at parts & can't do anything about it and said he can only replace the rest of mines so it'll match that generic one they put. Are you serious?? Replace the original parts that came with my car to match that generic one they put in? What happened to our original one in the first place? I told him I wanted the original back but his only response was that "there's nothing I could do." ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I came to this dealership for a 12 month service for my vehicle and something as simple as putting a tire valve cap back they can't even do? We waited longer than them actually working on the car.
