This morning I had the honor of having Bill as my bedbug eradicator for the day! He came to my little humble apartment and knew exactly where to look. Amazing work I would definitely recommend him. Also, special thanks to Angela who not only set up the appointment with ease but managed to walk me off the ledge since this mess has been such a depressing and chaotic situation. Jay and I couldn't thank you guys enough! read more

My father has a house in the Gowanus area. There has been lots of development in the area which brings out lots of pests. My dad has tenants that reported a rat in their apartment. They have an 18 month old baby so it needed to be taken care of right away. I needed someone who was in the area and could come to take care of this right away. I spoke to Angela who asked me some questions and was able to speak to my tenant as well. We made an appointment and the tech came out. The tenants said "that guy was great, he found a few holes and found their base camp and put down some poison". Then he also took care of my dads apt too. We are very happy with the service and hope this takes care of the problem. We also told Angela that we found them on Yelp and got a discount! Thanks a bunch :) read more

This is a company about service and detail. They not only rid you of your pest or vermin problem, they follow up and treat you with curtesy and respect. Their knowledge of the elimination of problem insect, bugs and other critters is amazing and they freely share how to keep the pests away. Their pricing is great and covers a lot of services. If you own a home I highly recommend a yearly contract for seasonal checks to keep your home clean comfortable and free of things that crawl, climb and hide behind your walls and bedding. read more

We use these guys for my office. They're always prompt and friendly. We have 3 floors and they do a thorough job. We use them more for preventative, although we have seen a few mice. But these guys get the job done. Thanks. read more

Let's be honest. No one wants to call an exterminator. But I'm so happy we called the right one. Brian came for the inspection and Billy came for the treatment. They were both incredibly professional and helpful. Billy spent quality time sharing important information that will be invaluable for helping our tenants keep their spaces protected from pests. Thank you!! read more

Billy was great! I found a mouse in the house and freaked out, after calling a few companies I found nyc pest control, they were prompt and provided excellent service. Billy and another tech inspected my entire townhouse and found possible entry points that I wouldn't have even noticed. He was very reassuring and very calming. He was very knowledgeable and very understanding and accommodating when using traps/poison since I have pets. He was very honest and didn't want to take advantage of my mouse phobia. I would highly recommend billy to inspect your home even as a preventative option. read more

I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Bill was straightforward, honest, hard-working, conscientious, and above all effective. He worked tirelessly to solve our pest problem, and he was completely responsive and helpful whenever we called or texted with questions. If we ever have another pest problem, I would call this company without hesitation. So should you! read more

very friendly! called on the phone and got help tips for free

Listen, when you get bedbugs, you enter into a *relationship* with your exterminator that goes beyond blasting those lil bastards into oblivion. Angela, Billy and crew definitely do that while also being professional, supportive, and giving that extra TLC that you need at such a time. They were prompt with follow-up visits and helped out in other ways. One guy came back to patch holes in our walls created when we had to rip out our son's infested loft bed (oh yeah, it was bad). Another guy, incredibly, schlepped our gorgeous solid-wood headboard down three flights of stairs out to the garbage (like I said, it was bad) -- SINGLE-HANDEDLY. I have no idea how, but he did it. That's the kind of mindset they have at NYC Pest Control. They're also less expensive than other services. Very satisfied! read more

If I could, I would give Bill and Angela and their team 10 stars, My bed bug problem was not an easy one, and it has been a very long one, 8 to 9 months long to be exact and required two different exterminators (Bill was the second one and my champion) I live in a fully renovated Brownstone in Bed Stuy, unfortunately 3 weeks after moving in i started getting bitten by bed bugs, I called the best exterminator in NYC , it cost me more than 7000 dollars, they exterminated the entire house from the basement to the roof, they used chemicals and heat tents to get rid of bedbugs that may have been in my belongings, and they bagged everything in large ziploc's, I live in a very clean, clutter free and fully bagged house.... not easy with two children and a busy life. After getting two rounds of exterminations with my first exterminator he told me that no matter what i did i would continue to have bed bugs because ( as we came to find out later) my neighbors next door had bedbugs for 6 years and had done nothing to remedy the situation, this was the cause of bed bugs in my house since unfortunately the wall between us must have been compromised either due to the age of these buildings or maybe while the house was renovated and the bed bugs were able to come through the walls. He suggested i hire someone else that would be more economical for maintenance exterminations. I was devastated...he was telling me I was going to have a chronic bed bug problem, imagine my horror after already 4 months fighting this pest and going to bed afraid every night, not sleeping that much and waking up every night because my children were crying from the bites. I searched the net for someone to help me and I came upon Bill's company, well... he is the most professional, most caring, generous, helpful, patient and knowledgeable man, he came to my house listened to my problem and was shocked that the first exterminator had washed his hands of my problem and basically took my money and ran. He told me that with my kind of problem we needed to strategize and try to exclude the bugs so they would not be able to come in, he suggested i hire a contractor to seal my fireplaces, re- caulk my entire house, seal my ceiling lamps, tape my ceilings and walls so i would find out exactly where they were coming from, and many other suggestions, he helped me fight this horrible pest with smarts not only with poison. He and Angela have been with me and my family emotionally and professionally all the way until my problem was solved. They are not only economical but the best bed bug extermination company in NYC and i highly recommend them because a bed bug problem is not just a pest , there is a whole psychological torture and stress that comes with it and having Bill and Angela as your partners in this terrible fight is the best decision you will ever make. Billy and Brian were incredible! They came four times to commit genocide on these critters (bed bugs), and that's really how long it took, not to any fault of theirs, but because we had an Airbnb subletter who was sloppy and irresponsible, and caused the prolonging of the issue even after they sprayed. It's plausible that our guest was on the one who brought them here. I've been in this apt for 10 years never having had any problem like this. Billy and Brian were totally generous with their time, patient with the situation, and even committed to getting the job done by any means necessary without charging us again and again. They are truly men of their word, as they are passionate about eradicating critters from earth. What I loved most about them was their true knowledge and understanding of bed bugs, infestations, and everything creepy and gross that I want to know nothing more about. They gave us prescriptions for home remedies and safe practices to implement moving forward. They were honest about the fact that the inspector dogs are more accurate, though they produce lots of false positives because of bad animal practices from their owners. They were thorough and detail oriented, and sprayed the bejeezus out of our entire apartment. My boyfriend owns a few thousand records, a life times worth of a collection, and he was scared of losing them all. Billy and Brian taught us home made casings for the records that would keep them safe. They were shockingly affordable against the quotes I got from competitors. I really need to be a legit spokesperson for these guys, because they were the shit. They deserve robust business for their true professionalism and great work. Had it not been for these guys, I would be in therapy because of the stress and anxiety of having to deal with this nightmare. I don't wish this problem on my worst enemy. But should life get beyond your control and you are dealt with this same scenario that I did, please call these guys, and do it right away. read more

I believe it was Billy who came to my home. Angela was so pleasant to talk to and great about following up. She quoted me $275 for mouse and ant treatment and then they were going to do an eval about possible termites and recommend a specialist. When Billy arrived and noticed how I had already treated for ants, he let me know that I had done what he would have done so there was no point in me spending money with him to re-do it. I thought that was very honorable. He then went methodically through my home and the building to check for signs of termites and told me he saw no tell tale signs all the while explaining what he was doing and why. Lastly, he did a safe, thorough and methodical treatment for our ongoing mouse problem taking into account my children and their safety. He even went into my neighbor's apartment and left mouse poison and bait there too. I felt that this company went above and beyond to address the issues we have with pests and we would definitely recommend them and use them again. Thank you! read more

Bill was great. He responded to our 10 pm phone call as we were in a panic about potential bed bugs. He was honest and let us know based on images of bugs we found, that it was a simple problem, not bedbugs, and all be had to do was bleach everything to kill the beetles. He went out of his way to ease our minds and keep us from wasting money. read more

Really excellent service. Angela is so nice and helpful in terms of answering questions and Billy the exterminator is very knowledgeable, professional, and also probably the nicest guy I've met in a long time. I recommend them highly for any pest-related issues! read more

Amazing service! I cannot thank them enough. Angela patiently answered all of my questions by phone and email. This is the only company that put me to ease after calling at least 10 others. We live in a very strict co-op and she went out of her way to prepare us some of the extra paperwork requested. Treatment was quick but thorough and effective. Highly recommended!! read more

Excellent professional service all around. They had me at my telephone conversation with Angela, she was warm, nonjudgmental and even made me laugh even though I was upset about my mice situation. She put me at ease from the start. I was able to get a prompt appointment with Billy. He was thorough, caring and most important effective. It has been almost 4 months, yes this review is long overdue, and we continue to be clear of our problem. And their fees were also reasonable as well. I am very grateful to them and recommend them highly. read more

I found a possum in my basement. Let me repeat that: I FOUND A POSSUM IN MY BASEMENT. I have lived in Park slope Brooklyn for my entire life (49 years) I have never even SEEN a possum let alone one up close and personal in my basement. I called Animal Control who dies not control animals inside of a house only on the road outside of a house! I did a quick search on Google and NYC pest control came up as the top rated. Within minutes, I was speaking to Angela who guaranteed that that Billy the exterminator would be on the job from the beginning of the process to the end. The next morning he arrived with a humane cage with cat food and set the trap and advised me that Mr possum would be trapped by the following day, Friday. I checked the trap early on Friday morning and low and behold-- 1well-fed possum was captured. Billy arrived at 8am sharp to remove my unwanted buddy. I am so happy with the excellent service provided by Billy exterminator and Angie in the office. They were kind, compassionate and understanding of my fear of possums. The job was done in one day at a very reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone with any pest problem. read more
