Flaws on the printed shirt they gave me

As a customer that actually paid money, I should have given them 2 stars. But because the man who helped me was very nice to me, I'll round it up to 3. I feel bad giving them a negative review because it seems like a family owned business (assuming because I saw a child sitting in a staff seat playing with their iPad) but I'm really torn. I requested a long sleeve with a printed photo but they didn't have a long sleeve in stock by the day I needed it. So they offered a regular t-shirt. Which is totally fine! I honestly did not mind. I paid $17 for a t-shirt with a photo printed on the front. With all the high ratings of this place, I really had high expectations. Most t-shirt printing places I went, printed my shirt on the spot and I was able to pick it up within an hour or less. This place made me wait 2 days. Not sure why but that wasn't a problem at all for me. They told me they were able to finish before the date due. Once I got my shirt from the store, I was so excited to pack it up into a gift box for a friend. Until I saw random black dots on the printed shirt. Other places completed my custom shirts less than an hour, made my shirt perfectly. This place takes 2 days and has flaws. Not to mention, when I got my shirt, it was all wrinkled up tossed into a black bag. If you're wondering how the flaws look like, please look at the photo I attached. All the t-shirt printing places I been to that I would recommend are located in Queens, so I don't want to suggest anyone another location that is really far from this store. I do not recommend unless you're willing to risk a chance of leaving disappointed.

I needed a t-shirt printed ASAP and these guys popped up on Yelp. We messaged back and forth via curt email replies tantamount to pulling teeth, and they finally let me know they could do same-day printing and the prices they quoted were reasonable ($17/shirt), which was exactly what I needed. At some point, they kind of stopped responding (right when I was ready to buy), so I called and they said the guy I was emailing with stepped out. I left my number and told them to call back that night and they never did. So I decided to just stop in the next day. The space is what you'd expect in a print shop (a messy basement with a ton of printers). I dropped off my designs and paid. I actually brought my own t-shirts because they were wishy-washy over email about the fit of the shirts they had in their shop (I guess in hindsight, I shouldn't have paid full price, but I forgot). They said the shirts would be done in 3 hours and they'd call. Sounded good. Except they never called. I rang them up 3.5 hrs later and no answer. Stopped back in (almost 5 hours now) and they hadn't started my order and said they need another half hour. Should've let me know, guys. The shirts were done 40 minutes later and the quality of the prints was good, but I can't recommend them based on their crappy communication.

NYCFastPrint truly lives Up to their name! After struggling with finding the most appropriate label paper for my oil based products, not only did they have exactly what I needed they exceeded my expectations as far as quality and service. I have only worked with them twice within one month so far and each time was an impressive experience. As long as I am in business, NYCFastPrints will be responsible for all of my printing needs. THANK YOU!!!

NYC Fast print was a life saver; I was able to design & print all my save-the-dates, dinner menus, cocktail menus, banners, and monograms on my party souvenirs for my engagement party there. They were very affordable, helpful and knowledgeable of everything I needed! The owner helped me design all my decorations and etc needed for my engagement party. She also helped me find an artist to design my save the dates. Will be returning to do my wedding invitations & wedding banner! Thank you again for your hospitality!

An option was checked by default and it was snuck into the design and because no one was expecting an extra logo to pop up, it got printed. When I noticed this extra logo and called them - they had a terrible attitude, saying most people prefer to have this logo inserted in their work and it's common practice for union printing companies to add extra logos when printing work by default and they've been doing that for 15 years. No remedy was offered and basically said if we want it fixed we would have pay for a new expedited order. If you don't want a printer to be adding their own logo as a default to your work - I would suggest you use someone else. - - - Giving your business negative feedback does not equate to anti-union sentiment please. What a joke. Who taught you how to respond to criticism? Netanyahu? When printers send back digital proof - people are typically checking for color, layout, cutoffs etc. People don't expect your PRINTER to be adding in extra logos to your design.

Without question, Keith made me and my wife feel support throughout the process of having our wedding print materials designed and ready for the big day. Without a doubt, I strongly recommend working with him for your custom print needs. To add a more personal touch to our wedding, my wife and I decided that we would have a wedding 'theme'. After giving it plenty of thought, we landed on the idea of a MTA subway concept. With Yelp's help, we landed on Keith's p8perhearts page and couldn't resist reaching out to him after looking at his impressive reviews. His communication was incredible from beginning to end. Whether we wanted a phone call, video chat, or get a question answered by email, Keith was on top of it. We also appreciated his enthusiasm for our idea, thought partnership and creativity as new drafts for each product were made. His passion for his craft is undeniable. The pdf documents he shared of the designs as we developed them together were beautiful. I've uploaded samples of them with this review to Yelp. Also important, Keith hand-delivered the materials to us in midtown. The quality of the paper he used to print the designs was top notch. Our guests were enamored with the theme we presented on our big day, and we owe a huge thanks to Keith.

Charlie made my idea come to life!…read more I needed a hat made for a costume I was putting together. I was doing a crossover of Princess Peach and hip hop, and wanted her crown airbrushed on a hat for a cosplay party. I wasn't able to go in store to place the order, so I filled out the form they have on their website. In about 2 hours, I received a phone call from a girl at the shop. We went over all the details together. I didn't have the hat I needed, but they carry lots of items in store (tshirts, hats, bags, etc.)- so I also requested a pink trucker hat. I also made sure to ask what shade of pink the hat was, to avoid any issues later. And I must also note its a good idea to be very clear and detailed about what you want. Not that theres any issues with Art Of Your Mind- it's just a good idea when dealing in custom, artistic work. I was told the hat would take a few days to do, so I set a pick up date and time. On the date of pick up, I arrived a few hours after my pick up time to the mall. I first went to their store on the second floor in Green Acres Mall. A girl there told me that my pick up order would be in their workshop downstairs. I headed downstairs to their second location in the mall, which is much bigger. The moment I walked in, I saw a girl showing off an item she just picked up. I must say- seeing that had me relieved. My order was ready, and I of course was asked if everything looked good- which it totally did! I was so happy with it- I literally had no words. It was some kind of magic to see something in my head, and then to have it physically in my hands. The artist who made my hat, Charlie, happened to be there when I picked up the hat. He was really sweet and wanted to make sure I was happy with the design. I totally was and my hat was the talk of the party!

He assured me that there was sufficient time for my product to be made would be available within my requested time frame. I received it a day after the expected date.I was very clear on my design preference and color scheme. When I received the product it was partially what I wanted and never received a call that a change to my design would be made . I texted Paul to let him know the product wasn't what we agreed on( as I received my delivery from his assistant, whom I also made aware it was not what I requested). I have yet to receive a reply. It's shame because I wanted to be able to do more projects but this gave me a bad view of the integrity of the business . I think if he had the courtesy to let me know he did the change before I received the product , it would have been better. Quality Customer care doesn't end once you receive payment. The work wasn't bad but it wasn't what I wanted and that made it disappointing experience .
