What a joke. I called to follow up on a quote and was spoken to so incredibly demeaning and nasty it hard to put in words that a company would have someone represent their company this way. Obviously Ray is a miserable human being. I can't even describe how off the charts and unapologetically rude this guy is. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Ray, no excuse dude. Watch out for this company. Many people complained about how bad they are treating their customers. Its too expansive, its too rude its too arrogant etc.. My experience was little painful because I already knew it by reading reviews of other people what to expect. This guy Ray obviously hates his job, he is whining about spending lots of effort and not getting enough returns from the customer. I asked him to print 12 sweatshirts then he said its $200 . I knew its too high but despite all that I agreed on that ridiculous price. Then he asked me to send him my artwork so I did then he said if I have anything better I said OK let me see what I can do. I created a few good resolution files and sent it to him and shortly after he wrote back to me complaining that he is severely confused because I sent him too many files and his effort not getting him any returns or profit. I told him if you don't make any profit this is not my fault. Maybe he is in wrong business but he sounded like he is hating his job and whining about doing his job. I told Ray that this is not my job and this is your job. If he thinks he is working too much and making very little money, then it's his problem not the customers. Customers does not want to hear complains from employees how much work they have to do and not getting enough returns from them. This is very rude and unprofessional . You don't tell this to your clients. This is ridiculous because I am paying him money and whatever gets involved in doing those prints is really none of my business. That is companies job and worries not the customers. To make long story short I told him that I don't feel comfortable doing business with someone who is complaining doing his job and helping his customers. I would not recommend this company to anybody unless if you want to get ripped off and be blamed because they are helping you. Find another company, there is lots of them out there, not everybody as nasty as these guys. The world has some good people too. read more

I really wanted to love this place. After searching the web for printing labs in Brooklyn I ran across Bushwick Print Lab thinking Wow right here in my neighborhood and they offer lab rental. Back home my cousin owns a print lab and Ive learned the entire process from him so I was extremely excited that I could once again print my own tshirts in a lab. Well after emailing and calling to get a quote for the past 3 weeks I still have yet to hear back from any representatives with a quote so that I can go forward with booking. Why offer a quote service if there isn't a person designated for handling those requests within a timely manner? So after waiting for over 3 weeks and never receiving a response I will have to take my business else where! :-( read more

Bushwick Print Lab is The Best. Last week I was working on a project (not at Bushwick Print Lab) when I ran out of a special, impossible to find, ink. With a tight deadline I contacted Bushwick Print Lab late on a sunday evening, to see if they might use this brand and if i could purchase some from them (a complete shot in the dark). The owner personally responded a couple hours later (At 11 o'clock at night!) Not only did he have this hard to find ink he told me to come in anytime the next day to get it. Bushwick literally saved my project and I would recommend them completely for any print job. Their work is stunning, the print shop is great, the staff at the lab was professional and kind, and the shop owner is a star. read more

Such a great group of people working at BPL. I had a complicated project for them to do, printing some rock posters I was going to sell in Russia, lots of crazy colours, and they guided me through what I needed in terms of my files and worked their bottoms off to get a product to me that was beyond my expectations. We are also on a tight schedule to deliver them to customers and boutiques, so we count on every contractor in the supply chain to get stuff to us on time. Ray and co have always been amazing, taking care of us with no hassle and delivering results promptly. This is the second Yelp review I've ever written so you know I have strong feelings about this place-- so I'm very happy to say that I definitely don't hate it. BPL is the shit! I spent maybe two hours here today and got more done than I could in probably two days with my own limited means and equipment. Extremely reasonable pricing for everything and well worth it. I emailed three days ahead and had them print my film sheets for me on their plotter and they were ready when I told them I'd like to come in. Best transparencies I've ever had printed, seriously. Perfect detail and super opaque black--like really, impenetrably dark black. The three folks working today were all very kind, and the chick that helped me out with reclaiming and coating my screens was incredibly knowledgable and sweet. She also helped me expose my screens and they came out incredible. Getting that perfectly exposed screen is such a wonderful thing, and I'm a bit rusty with screen preparation, so having easy access to this professional equipment and expert knowledge was key in nailing my exposures.
