I really like the Vacaville location. I know the products are pricey but you're not just paying for a grocery store product that can be found anywhere, you're paying for experienced staff and top notch customer service. They love what they do and it shows. I typically speak with the assistant manager Christian and he is always very polite and friendly. I tell him what I need and why, and he gets me the products that will get me the best results. Come get a free body analysis and start your journey to a better life.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nutrishop, and I couldn't be more impressed with their services. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and understood. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your health and well-being. They provided me with a personalized meal plan that was easy to follow and tailored to my specific needs. I even tried the genetic methylation test.(vitamin deficiencies, food sensitivities, shows what diet you'd benefit from, etc)It's best if they explain it but it definitely helps with the meal planning! The results have been amazing - even with my cheat snacks like hot Cheetos and pickles - I feel more energetic, healthier, and more confident in my food choices. I highly recommend Nutrishop to anyone looking to improve their nutrition and overall health!

Updated review- since the owner wanted to be unprofessional and basscjalh accuse me of not being a real customer and using a fake yelp account and not being a valid customer I have posted the amount I spent at his location which is the last time I will spend there, I called the Natomas shop to make sure he's not the owner there as well and I drive my happy ass all the way to Natomas and buy my protein powder in bulk there and get my full military discount. I'll spend my money there. Great shop with incredible employees that know what they are doing, only thing is I been buying there for a couple years here and there, the owner decided to take away my military discount that I've been getting because I'm not ACTIVE duty or full retired. But I am a veteran with a serviced connected honorable medical discharge which shows on my veteran card yet that's not enough for a military discount? Obviously this man doesn't support military nor did he have the guts to sign up and service his own country during a war like I did. Proud to have serviced my country during the Iraqi war, proud to have gone overseas and almost die for my country and get a honorable discharge due to the medical damaged I received but not proud to support a business owner that's greedy and chooses not to honor all military personal and pick and choose which military personnel he wants to respect and honor.

If they had a "NO STAR" rating that's what I'd give them based on the steroid freak behind the counter. All I was looking for was a protein shaker with a wire ball and this douche asked me "what kind of protein are you using?" I replied, a product from Costco... His response... "That's why you need the wire ball, that protein is crap"... Okay... thanks for nothing Mr. Wanna-be-Mr.Universe... I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Great place, very knowledgeable staff without the ego found in many other nutritional shops and their staff members. This place is great. Been in the fitness industry for a very long time and got away from newer supplements and wanted to speak with others that had more knowledge than the research I've done on my own. Glad I walked in here today! Got to sample Fiburn today without even expecting a drink made for me! I thought I was just going to get a powder sample---I got a nice cold drink during my visit, and I got a shaker cup out of it too! Kudos to Ryan for being extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products sold! He even helped babysit my 3 yr old while I got my body composition analysis done! Awesome customer service! I didn't feel uncomfortable, rushed, or overwhelmed with the amount of information I was receiving---while trying to keep an eye on my toddler. This was my first time at this place. As I walked in everything was so neat and organized. Cristian was very patient with me and he went out of his way in explaining what I needed to do to get back into shape. As he was talking to me, more customers started to come in so I told him that he could help them, but he insisted on helping me since he already was, so that made me feel important and it just wasnt about just selling the products. He made sure I understood and was happy with everything!. There is a machine that I had to step on which weighed and measured my BMI, muscle, etc. He gave me a printout and explained what it was about and it was free!!..you can even sample the protein shakes so you know how it taste before making a purchase. First time in the shop and I've never been to such a nice, decent, no bull-shit establishment. I wish I got the guys name who helped me! He was straight and to the point. And got me exactly what I needed and didn't pressure me for more. I was out the door in 15 mins. I knew what i was going to get so as soon as i walked in i went straight to the item, got it out of the freezer and i was helped. Quick and easy. I asked about pre workout because mine has recently made me feel sick while working out so the employee (i believe his name was clover) gave me a sample of a newer pre workout which worked amazing. I will definitely be coming this shop more often. read more

That just kind of hurt my feelings. I walked in an empty store with one customer at the register, and they seemed to be talking about the product but then they started talking about modeling careers, and being a preacher and blah blah and I am standing there for 10 minutes and haven't even been acknowledged by the big buff guy with glasses. Finally another worker comes in and for some reason I thought he was going to help me because he spoke to me, but he left within 5 seconds. Finally the other guy leaves and I just know it's my turn, standing near the register, still haven't been spoken to. Lol then he answers the phone, he doesn't ask them to hold just to check if I'm ok or anything he begins fully engaging with the person on the phone. That kind of stuff is degrading. I wonder why he did that. I was in there for more than 20 minutes and was never spoken to yet I was one of two people there read more

The business opened in Feb of 2011. With the success we have gained from our Vacaville location we have had the opportunity to expand to Davis and Roseville!

Meet the Business Owner: Dale K.

Dale started his work in the fitness industry while attending the University of California, Chico for Exercise Physiology. In 2003, Dale was hired as a certified personal trainer, which then expanded to group fitness instructor, massage therapist and various other positions. In 2006, Dale started his work in sports nutrition managing a supplement retail store. After working for that company Dale had the opportunity to manage a Nutrishop in Chico. Within a few months into his management position at Nutrishop, Dale then acquired the opportunity to open his first Nutrishop in Vacaville, CA. Dale has now opened three Nutrishop locations and plans to open more in the next couple years. Dale holds several nationally recognized certifications in personal training, sports nutrition, group training and massage therapy.Dale attributes his knowledge in the sports nutrition industry to the studies and articles from individuals such as Jose Antonio, Douglas Kalman, William Llewelyn and Will Brink

I came back today and nothing had been replaced or added to the fridge even though there were cases of it on the shelf. I think GNC should strip this owner of his ownership! Fast forward: Attended TSH's 20th anniversary celebration, which had something nourishing and tasty for everyone - vegetarian, vegan, locavore, paleo, raw, gluten-free, etc. *Cherished TSH 20th anniversary recipe book, with fantastic photos from Mary Dee, featuring veg-friendly Three Sisters Chili, Gingered Greens with Butternut Squash & Coconut Milk, and Carrot Cake with Sprouted Spelt Flour. *Enjoyed all-ages friendly activities like Making Butter in Mason Jars with marbles, playing Weston Price is Right bingo (where all participants won snacks), Making Transit Bites (date bar with dried plums & coconut), etc. This activity space had bookcases filled with holistic health/nutrition/cooking books - many that I read while studying at Bauman. *Appreciated tour for behind-the-scenes look at kitchen and fermentation room. Learned more from museum-like display of The Lexicon of Sustainability (PBS series) photographs by Douglas Gayeton with TSH's local commentary. *Nourished with all-day access to sample chicken bone broth, chocolate olive oil cake (gluten-free), and sauerkraut (vegan). *TSH store featured Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions books, as well as curated selection of mostly locally produced artisanal foods and TSH's own wholesome foods made from scratch on-site. *My favorite purchase: Rize Up Bakery's Olive Parm Truffle Black Pepper sourdough loaf at 20% off! I think this places wants to seem down to earth and accessible to all but at those prices it's only accessible to people with a lot of disposable income. I get that it's hard to make really high quality food with good ingredients at affordable prices so I don't really have the answer.

By myself i was able to lose about 40 lbs in 3 months, but once i went to Nutrishop Vacaville i was able to lose 65lbs in 2 months. they knew exactly how to change, what i thought was a good diet, my eating habits so i sped up my metabolism naturally. the people who work there, Dale and Jack, are good people who inform you about any supplements you take and will not sell you something that is low quality or unsafe. I would suggest, and i do suggest, Nutrishop to anyone who needs to lose weight, get in shape, train for an athletic competition, or just wants to be healthier overall. read more

A little shoot out to Christian* Christian is the best! He is very knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness. I love to go in there just to talk to him and see what I can do better for my own health and fitness he always has answers and solutions! He has helped me more then my personal trainers have with dieting and supplements! He currently has me going in every two weeks for my BMI test just to keep me on track to my goals! I have been shopping at Nutrishop Vacaville for about 6 months now. I am currently in my second nutrition challenge. I lost 25 lbs with the first challenge. The meal plans they provide are tailored to my schedule and whenever something dosent work for me the ate always willing and able to help me figure out solutions. I also recently had some concerns about one of my kids' nutrition and they were so knowledgeable and put my mind at ease with him as well. I will be a lifelong customer of nutrishop. read more

This place is great. The information I received from them far surpassed any of their competitors. I told them what my goal was and they gave me some recommendations. They also explained why they chose those recommendations. I have been very pleased with the results. The only thing they can't do is carry my lazy self to the gym which they might even try that haha. My wife and I came in for a six pack meal prep bag and ended up both having our body fat percentages measured on the on body 370. Christian was awesome, he took the time to explain exactly what our read out was and even set up our my fitness pal apps! I went in to purchase protein shakes for my weight loss challenge and they knew exactly what I needed. For a health and wellness shop they sure don't believe in global pandemics. As I walked in for the first time since January and was greeted by an unmasked employee, I asked if she should wear a mask, to which she answered " they don't make us". Don't be fooled- its a State Mandate for businesses. They don't care about your health, they care about their buck. read more

I walked up to the front desk and nobody was there, so I stood and waited for about two minutes. I went ahead and scanned my ID while I waited. When she came back, I simply let her know I had already taken care of it -- and that's when she snapped at me with *"It doesn't work that way -- you don't work here"* in the rudest tone possible. It wasn't what she said, it was HOW she said it -- like she was disgusted to be talking to me. I understand busy days happen. But there are too many dispensaries in this area to be treated like an inconvenience just for walking through the door. I hope management takes a look at the front desk experience, because the rest of the team deserves better representation than this.

He was very helpful, friendly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable for asking about a product I had literally just heard of that day. In fact, he offered to send me a link to an informative video about its effects and uses, etc., while he was closing his store. I went by the shop the next day to get some. Vic was very inviting, friendly and helpful and the store was immaculate and well stocked with all sorts of amazing things. He spent time with me to figure out which of the many Kratom products was best for me for pain and anxiety, and then I moved on to other products. He never lost patience with me. He would politely help a customer that would walk in as I continued looking and he'd come right back to me. By the time I was finished, I walked out with a smile, a bag with my new treats and the feeling as though I'd made a new friend. I will definitely be back to this shop.
