I've been a loyal customer here for years and I genuinely love some of the staff -- but ever since Jordan left, the customer service has really fallen off. My issue is specifically with the woman at the front desk. Every single time I come in, she has an attitude with me. I honestly don't know what I've done to rub her the wrong way, but I've always walked in in a good mood, ready to spend my money. Today was the last straw. I walked up to the front desk and nobody was there, so I stood and waited for about two minutes. I went ahead and scanned my ID while I waited. When she came back, I simply let her know I had already taken care of it -- and that's when she snapped at me with *"It doesn't work that way -- you don't work here"* in the rudest tone possible. It wasn't what she said, it was HOW she said it -- like she was disgusted to be talking to me. I understand busy days happen. But there are too many dispensaries in this area to be treated like an inconvenience just for walking through the door. I hope management takes a look at the front desk experience, because the rest of the team deserves better representation than this. read more

Today I went into embarc to return a pen I had purchased 5 days prior because it stopped working. I was made aware of the 24 hour policy they had and then was questioned as to why there was so much oil missing and then made to feel that it was my fault the pen was no longer working. I frequent this dispo weekly and have been a loyal customer and that was not taken into consideration. I would highly not recommend purchasing pens from this location especially the CLSICS brand. read more

I haven't been to many dispensaries but Embarc has been my absolute favorite so far! The selection of products is huge! I came in on July 3rd in a desperate attempt to find CBD for dogs before the July 4th fireworks. They had plenty and multiple concentrations. Super bright/well lit and clean environment. Parking can be difficult if you're looking for a spot in the lot because it's right by the DMV. It may be easiest to park on the street. Or go on a day when the DMV is closed. Everyone I've met has been very friendly. Security to check in to budtenders. Everyone has been great every time. Budtenders have been knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting products. Price wise it tends to be a little more than other places for the same product. (My benchmark is Wyld gummies. On the low end I've found it for $18. At Embarc I think it was $25 last I checked.) They accept credit card payment. Beware that it showed up for me as something with an unusual description/name. I think it looked like a loan or credit union in SoCal. Apparently that's pretty common for dispensaries. I come here because of the large selection of products and the good service/environment. Personally it's worth a couple dollars difference to have a better shopping experience. It's like going to Target instead of Walmart. They often have sales. read more

4 1/2 stars First time at this dispensary. Staff was super friendly and personable, as well as helpful. Dispensary is incredibly easy to fine, easy on and off Highway 80 and very clean and organized. I can't speak to selection because I was looking for a specific item. Price wise a little higher than what I paid in February in Newport Beach, maybe inflation? Be aware they charge a five dollar service fee if you use credit card. That and the fact I had a few questions she couldn't answer were the reason for four stars. Hello, as you can see I don't review much unless a place needs to be put on the spot, I had reserved myself from previously writing a review but today was the day I had to. To start this place has ok products and some of the employees are usually pretty cool, today I was out riding bikes with my son in the area and I thought of stopping by to see if they had improved on their prices and if so planning on getting some items. I locked up our bikes and knocked on the door, the security guard opened the door and let us in, as we are walking in i start telling my son to go sit on the waiting seats they have in the first entrance, ( this all happened very quick) all of a sudden the woman that was at the counter screamed rudely to get my son out this is when the security guard assaulted my underage son by grabbing him from his sweater from his chest and yanking him outside. Things escalated from there because as a father I cannot allow for us to be treated and talked to in the most disrespectful way. The woman at the front desk taking ids could have simply told me that my son is not allowed inside and I would have walked him outside, something very simple. This is the worst customer service I have had in years and very condescending, who ever the woman that was working at the front desk needs to learn to properly interact with people who keep their business going, she needs to remember that the customers are the reason she has a job and talk to people with respect. In my opinion both the woman at the front desk and the security guard need to be fired, so that this big mistake doesn't happen to another paying customer. Imo these two individuals need to get terminated. This could have easily been prevented if the woman at the desk hadn't scared the guard by screaming rudely and demanding for my son to get out, in my head I'm like lady i here in front of you, you can just tell me sir your son is not allowed inside this business, very simple.
