I don't usually write Yelp reviews--but after the level of service I received from Sam at The Showcase on Saturday, June 15, 2025, I had to. I came in that day looking for something to help with my chronic pain and trouble sleeping. I was feeling overwhelmed by the menu (there's a lot to choose from), but Sam immediately picked up on that and stepped in to help. She didn't just point to a random item--she actually asked me real questions about my symptoms, tolerance, and preferences. She ended up recommending Papa & Barkley Releaf Balm for my muscle pain and a few Iced pre-roll, which I hadn't tried before and was very notably impressed by the various selections. Let me tell you both were spot on. That balm? It relieved my shoulder pain within 15 minutes. The pre-rolls? They helped me fall asleep without leaving me groggy the next day. What really stood out though wasn't just the product knowledge it was Sam's genuine care and patience. Even when the line behind me got longer, she didn't rush the conversation. She gave me her full attention, even double-checking the terpene profile on a product when I asked about specific effects. I've been to a lot of dispensaries over the years, and very few budtenders go that far out of their way to make you feel heard and helped. A week later, I came back in on June 22 and Sam remembered me by name. She even asked how the balm worked out, and followed up with another solid recommendation: Kikoko Sleep Tablets, which ended up being the perfect non-smoking option for late nights. That kind of continuity and care is rare, especially in retail. The Showcase itself has solid pricing, a good range of brands (including local small-batch stuff), and a smooth check-in process. But it's Sam who makes the place stand out. Her product knowledge, sincerity, and real investment in her customers' experience are above and beyond anything I've seen in the Fairfield-Vallejo area. read more

Came in for grand opening... was 8th in line. As the goodie bags were nice they didn't tell you purchase upon receiving it. I had just spent 83$ that morning on product wish that was specific.we had ordered at a booth fairly quickly , went to checkout the first 20 mins was tender staring at all of us in line in much disarray not knowing how there own business was working or how to even check us out. After finally paying and waiting 45 mins mind you being one of the first orders placed. We finally went up to Diego who finally helped us he then told us that we shouldn't have paid yet but another tender checked us out and didn't give us a receipt. He had then told us then that our order wasn't even packaged yet after many orders who were placed after had already been given to the guests. He helped us and just went to package the order himself he was very nice and helpful, after much disarray in the store. This experience doesn't want to make me return. Props to Diego for stepping in and caring for our paid purchase. Overall don't know if it was worth the hours of waiting in between all the procedures. read more

I had such a great experience yesterday at this dispensary. I worked with Jessica M. to help meet my husbands needs as he lives in constant chronic pain from 2 previous cancer diagnoses. Her knowledge about the scientific make up cannabis and how each component of the plant can help my husband was truly astounding. It's as if she was formally educated on the topic and received a 4 year degree... The amount of knowledge she had about the strains and products she lead me towards left my husband with the most relief I've seen in years. I will continue to return to this dispensary to specifically see Jessica M again and again and I will never return to another dispensary thanks to her help. I have been to over 100 dispensary across California to meet the needs of my husband as he truly has been living a life of chronic pain and misery until I brought home the medicine Jessica M suggested to me specifically for pain. I've lived in Fairfield for a majority of my life, so I can't explain how disappointed I am that this place opened up right as I moved to San Jose. Now, as a Silicon Valley local living with expensive prices, this place is heaven for their deals. From Friday through Sunday, they have a literal showcase open where you can walk around different booths for various companies and products. Monday through Thursday their normal, smaller grab-and-go counter is open only. They have such a huge variety, which I can also appreciate. Cheaper options but also "higher-end" products. A majority (There was one who was a bit rude.) of the budtenders were so kind and outgoing! My partner and I had a 5 minute conversation with a nice guy at the Jeeter's booth this noon! This is an awesome dispensary I've lived in San Francisco and Sacramento and I've checked out many many dispensaries and delivery services over the last 20 years and hands down this is the best one I've ever been to the selection is incredible the prices are low it's unbelievable and they have great specials on top of it it's a great place because it's a woman owned company and they have a lot of women and some men working there and it's so small business it's owned by a woman and deserves to be shopped in they're awesome the tenders new what they were doing and I had a great experience for the five times I've been there I'm driving from Sacramento to Fairfield just because of cartridges that they carry and I will continue to go back every week it's worth the one hour drive this place is amazing you should go read more

so very grateful they opened a store here. they have an OUTSTANDING STAFF! You always get a warm Hello hen you walk in, if they don't answer for your question, they will find one. Showcase carries a wide variety of product, they know their products, prices are some of the best I've seen. I use tablets for Migraines. Kikoko Xtabs work for me when nothing else will. This is the ONE dispensary in the area that carries all the varieties of the tabs. The pricing is cheaper than 90% of the other shops. i come here often because they're the only dispo w a deal on the brand i like. i will say everyone ive interacted with has always been kind and seems to really care about what you want. Jessika (with a k!) in particular took her time and helped me find strains that would work best for what i need last time i was in. everyone else is always sweet too! i think most people that are complaining about rude staff are generally rude people themselves. prices are typical, but taxes aren't included online so keep that in mind. read more

The Showcase is just amazing. I love the experience and the workers. Great customer service and I feel like they really value their customers thoughts? The bud tenders are really knowledgeable about the cannabis and other things that they are selling. I made a purchase, walked out the door right back in to exchange for same brand, different flavor, same price-she would not let me. Though I've been able to do this in the past with another manager.
