Very clean excellent practice sandwiches good lunch sandwiches bagels or soft and delicious highly recommend two thumbs up

Good bagel spot located in the middle of town in Nutley. Pretty popular spot when school is in, it's always packed. They have all your usual bagels and sandwiches. They have gluten free bagels which my daughter loves. Place is pretty big inside with plenty of seating for dining in. The service was good and the prices are just about what you would expect. A solid bagel spot. read more

The reviews speak for themselves. This place is horrible, expensive and super slow . Order for pickup and they'll still have you waiting 20 minutes for your food . then give excuses about them being short staffed ........ read more

Hello, my review is on their potatoes. I've always ordered baking egg, and cheese. But today I decided to order home fries. They're the best I've ever tasted from a restaurant. I didn't leave nothing on my plate. It was absolutely yummy. So just to let everybody know order their home fries they're the best. I gave them a five star. Get a heart.. Jaz. The staff called me to assure me of my order if I wanted something precise was very accommodating and polite on the phone. Kudos to you girl. Jaz G read more

Boy O' Boy Bagel Boy! Boy Oh Boy, Bagel Boy! Nutley bagel boy twisting up some delicious bagels. Soft and fluffy on the inside and toasty on the outside. With all the different schmears available, you will surely find a bagel that will make you, Oh boy happy! Service is good despite their busy weekends. Sometimes a short and sometimes a long wait but the wait has always been worthwhile. The kids love the rainbow bagels and I love the cream cheese and lox, cinnamon raisin with cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese or a simple plain with cream cheese. They also have the NJ pork roll classic or the BEC bagel if you are craving a warmer breakfast. Will surely stop in again when craving a bagel! read more

No matter where I sit there is an employee that slams the chairs down next to me. The whole place could be completely empty and they come right next to people and slam chairs down right by a person. Today they the table with four people closed off. The worker comes next to me and slams down the chair to right and left, hitting into my chair. They only clean where people are sitting. They leave the mess at out spot and clean always right next to people. There are four people in here. read more

I've given this place multiple tries. They are way too big to provide the quality and customer service necessary for their customers. Some places can handle the volume of a bagel store AND countertop full lunch menu like Wonder Bagels (multiple locations in Hudson County)... NOT Nutley Bagel Boy II. Ordered a taylor ham, extra well done on scooped out toasted whole wheat everything.. pretty simple We got a Whole Wheat everything that had remnants of egg, cheese, and ketchup that were removed... no toast..no scoop... floppy taylor ham... This is not an exaggeration.. It's like they put someones egg and cheese on wrong bagel... removed it.. and slopped on Taylor Ham.. There were visibly 10+ folks working... The multitude of tickets hanging on the rack was clearly overwhelming... Advice.. Scale back to bagels and leave off the whole lunch menu until you get things right. a read more

Why wasting over half an hour to get a bagel with cheese that doesn't take 1 minute to prepare it specially when there is no customers inside the store. Also why you have a restroom if its locked all the time. Missing management read more

Reading these reviews I was hesitant to try this place. But a friend of mine was give them a try and if yours not satisfied I'll refund you the money myself. So decided to try them today, was so busy meetings and study's; didn't have time to cook. So I got a BEC (bacon egg and cheese) samich with a hash brown and some slices of tomatoes on a roll. And an iced coffee to wash it down. The bread was nice and soft. And the sandwich was overall great, only drawback was that there wasn't enough bacon to go with every bite. I think and additional two slices would have made the difference. The iced coffee was pretty good too. It wasn't watered down and had the right amount of sweetness to it!! read more

came here with my friend for brunch and was surprising impressed. the place is bigger than i thought which loads of seating. shockingly there were a bunch of school kids out so it was a bit crowded and loud at first, but once it hit after 12, the kids went back to school and my friend and I were able to enjoy the peace and quiet. there was an array of bagel choices and so i go the lox on multigrain while my sister got the bacon , egg & cheese with coffee. we both really enjoyed our meal. the price point wasn't that bad either. there was just a bit of a wait and no tap water (you get water from the sink next to the coffee station). read more

I very much enjoy Bagel Boy II in Nutley. I get cravings for it! Their bagels are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have so many varieties and all are delicious as well as their cream cheeses, chicken & tuna salads and other toppings. The bagels aren't the only star of the show. Their menu is vast with salads, cold & hot subs, Reubens, eggs, bacon, taylor ham... the list goes on. Some of my faves are a toasted everything, egg bagel with veggie cream cheese, the Farmer's omelette which comes with home fries and the Reuben sandwich. Their varieties of coffees and creamers are also fantastic as well as many other drink options. Very clean and spacious inside. Well run establishment. Online orders and take out available also. Plenty of parking in front on street or around the back in municipal lot. read more

Delicious. Bagel Boy can easily be my second favorite bagel store. I stopped in the other day and got a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese. It was really great, toasted crunchy bagel on the outside and super warm and soft on the inside. The veggie cream was good too, pretty flavorful. I noticed it had a lot of carrots in it, which I don't mind but if you don't like carrots stay away. It wasn't too crowded when I stopped by but I can see this place getting full. Street parking is pretty easy. The workers were friendly enough. They have a nice variety of muffins and sweets too. Their cream cheeses really stand out. I would definitely come back and try a few of their spreads. Great place to stop for a bagel! read more

You need to offer gluten free and dairy free like your competitors. Almond milk and egg substitute is not enough these days .

Food has gone down tremendously French toast isn't cooked all the way. Inside the toast was dry and stale. Bacon was cooked on top of each other some parts were over cooked while the inner pieces were on the raw side And the toast that comes with the eggs were stale and hard. I always thought you can't ruin eggs. I was wrong. On to the next place read more

So there are two Nutley Bagel Boys - the smaller one which is the one I had to check into but not the one I actually went to - makes the bagels. Then they bring them down the road to sell (even though it's a bigger location). Anyway - great bagels. Plump, doughy and traditional. They have all the cream cheeses you could want plus any type of breakfast meat. Their coffee is good, not great. Plenty of seating inside and parking outside. Friendly staff. Went during a weekday and it was busy. Could be the better of all the bagel shops in the area. Enjoy! read more

Order from these guys in a pinch and I've yet to be disappointed! Today all items showed up and in amazing time and everything was delicious. (I highly recommend a Taylor ham and cream cheese bagel sandwich) One add on was missing from one of the order items and when I called to let them know, they didn't hesitate to try and fix what was wrong and were apologetic. We're Floridians who visit family in NJ frequently but I just discovered Bagel Boy today and I'm obsessed! Nice, big open place with plenty of seating and a big menu! We got there around 10am and they were out of quite a few bagel types but none really impacted our orders. We got 2 bacon egg & cheese sandwiches on plain bagels, a cinnamon raisin bagel with lox spread, and a blueberry bagel as well as a mini rainbow bagel (mostly because it was so cute, I had to!) The sandwiches were huge and divine and definitely satisfied my NJ bagel craving. We waited about 5 minutes for our order and actually received an extra sandwich, which was great, because we ended up devouring that too! Plenty of metered street parking on Franklin Ave, though you might have to walk a few blocks if it's busy. We will absolutely be back to this place to try the rest of the menu, and maybe a little earlier next time to have more options! read more
