Starts jobs but won't finish. Never showed up for (4) different completion appointments. We hired someone else to finish.

I bought a pallet of CMU, stone, sand, and bags of mortar. When I arrived home, I unwrapped the…read morepallet of CMU and found half a dozen blocks broken. In addition, two of the bags of mortar emptied on to the trailer presumably from being poked by their forklift. I didn't see these issues before leaving the parking lot to head home. I called and they told me they aren't responsible because I left before reporting the issue. Who inspects the bottom of pallets before they are loaded??? Who unwraps bundles of CMU to inspect? Would Cobra offer to re-wrap after? Honestly, it's not a lot of money to replace these damaged items... so, I'm not out a lot. But is that smart business?... earn a 1-star rating for less than $30 in materials?

Think twice before you buy stone from these guys…read more They delivered several pallets of sanded 2 1/4" limestone, at least half of the sheets were cracked and useless. After a long delay, they finally agreed to supply 2 pallets if we picked it up. This was done and the stone was of the quality that the 1st delivery should have been. However since so much more than 2 pallets were junk that could not be used, the job could not be completed. No matter how many times we asked, they simply refused to supply more stone, saying we should buy some from a retail stone yard. in the end, we paid for several pallets of severely cracked stone and had to buy expensive smaller slabs from another company that were too small for the needed work. Take my advice, BE VERY CAREFUL before you buy stone from these dishonest and unethical people.

There were some miscommunications and delays, but hiccups are unavoidable for projects this big! Me…read moreand my husband wanted our two bathroom windows replaced shown in the photos, our bathtub removed and replaced with a shower and a seat, and the previous shower be turned into a bare closet to build off of later. (FYI we have a seperate contractor doing the shower doors). Despite a few inconveniences, there were so many wonderful above and beyond moments that make this a five star experience! First, shoutout to the hard work from Michael FZ, the build contractor for Expo Home Improvements (EHI)! The photos don't do justice, the pieces put together are beautiful! EHI doesn't sell shower panels, so ours was bought online and installed by Michael FZ, (we requested one be mounted higher than the other for height reasons). They also used numerous rugs when bringing their supplies in and out of our house to protect our flooring. There's so much great work from him, but to keep this short, I'll recognize this last highlight - we requested two minimal recessed shower shelves. One of the planners that came to our house was unsure if this could be done, since EHI does a different style of recessed shelves. Me and my husband still wanted to go through with it. As you can see, Michael FZ made it work and did a BEAUTIFUL job! Now for one area of improvement... When it was building day and the shower materials we signed off on with our EHI representative arrived incomplete delaying construction, EHI gave us a small discount with a new set of alternative materials that would arrive complete and fitted. We choose materials a second time and let the team planners know which ones we chose. Later when we had one of the construction planning guys stop by, he told us HOW the materials we chose were actually going to be implemented... which were in ways we didn't know about and didn't agree to. Me and my husband are grateful the planning guy talked us through this, because we changed HOW the builders were going to build with the materials, and made it to our expectations. I wish the team planners talked us through this initially when we had to choose a new set of materials, because they only asked us which materials we wanted, and then made up their own design for our shower with it. In the end, we were able to get what we wanted. Despite some miscommunications and delays, Michael FZ was our star and did everything right. He knew what he had to do and followed through. He didn't just give us a new bathroom, he gave us art.

Needed service for my Stihl string trimmer…read more Came in, met Ira the Stihl whisperer and ordered some parts. Parts arrived in a few days. Ira requested that I bring my device in for a check-up. Gave my trimmer a thorough check (set the valves, checked compression checked grease level etc.). Ira expertly installed some of the parts I ordered but after the inspection Ira determined that not all of the parts I ordered were needed. Cost for inspection, parts installation and parts I ordered but didn't use? 0 dollars! Other small engine repair places would have no doubt charged a pretty penny for the inspection and parts installation and probably the parts I didn't need- when was the last time someone in the repair business told you didn't need to spend money on a repair? Refreshing to meet someone in the service industry that is more than competent, candid and honest.

A young man put me on hold for 30 minutes and never came back to let me know if he had anything that would fit what I was looking for. He just never came back. Let me repeat: HE NEVER CAME BACK. I called back after 30 minutes and the lady who answered put me on hold, but came back within a few minutes to say: "He said that nothing we have fits." Why he left me hanging for 30 minutes was unacceptable.
