My husband and I are frequent customers here and always buy the same budget-friendly half-ounce…read morebag. We know it's the cheaper option, but it usually gets the job done. However, this last time, the quality was terrible--it didn't get us high at all and felt defective.Since we are regulars, we called ahead to see if they could help. The morning staff was incredibly polite, understanding, and told us they would leave a note so we could get a discount when we came in later, since the staff changes in the afternoon. When my husband went in that afternoon to pick up a different, more expensive bag, the experience turned awful. The girl working the afternoon shift treated him terribly. When he explained the situation, she rudely told him, "This isn't a restaurant where you can just send back food that isn't good." She also condescendingly said, "Well, you guys buy the cheap bag anyway."We understand that dispensaries have strict return policies, which is why we were grateful the morning staff offered a discount. But there was absolutely no reason for this girl to be so disrespectful and judge how much we spend. Even though they did end up giving us a $10 discount, her horrible attitude completely ruined our experience as loyal customers. They need to train their afternoon staff on how to treat people with respect.

I placed my first order with 831 on Tuesday. One of the items I ordered was missing, which I…read moreimmediately informed the driver, Derek, of. He told me that he would leave and come back with my missing item. So he left, then an hour later he called me on the phone to say that he couldn't help me, I would instead have to talk to somebody higher up in the company, and that higher up person would be calling me later. By Thursday, I had not yet heard back from anybody. I then contacted 831 again, this time via the browser-based messaging on their website. The person I spoke with over messenger took all my information, and again told me that somebody would be calling me. It is now Saturday, and I still haven't heard back from anybody. The level of unprofessionalism at 831 is mind boggling. They took my money, but never gave me what I paid for. I don't know if their employees are lying to me, or if the management is incompetent, but in either case, I won't be using their services again. Update: Two weeks after placing my original order, I got a text from a manager at 831. They apologized for taking so long to get back to me, but didn't offer me any explanation as to why they took so long. They told me that they would have the missing item delivered to me the next day. I texted them again in the morning to confirm, and they said they would get back to me. As of this update, that was three days ago. I still haven't heard back from them. I wish I could rate them less than one star.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the treatment my family and I received during our…read morevisit to your Oakland location today. My little sister and I came to purchase two cartridges for my stepfather, who is a 100% disabled United States veteran. My sister presented her military ID, but it was not accepted because she is not currently on active duty. While I understand that policies may vary, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. This is now the second interaction I have had with the manager at this location where she has been rude, disrespectful, and dismissive toward me. During this visit, her attitude was unprofessional and demeaning, making what should have been a simple transaction into an uncomfortable experience. One of the employees apologized to me afterward, and I appreciated that gesture. However, it does not change how I was treated. After this second negative experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning to your Oakland dispensary. Over the past year, my family--including my stepfather and my sister--and I have been loyal customers. I have also recommended your dispensary to many of my friends because of the positive experiences we had in the past. Unfortunately, because of the repeated disrespectful treatment from the manager, I can no longer recommend your business and will be letting others know about my experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the way customers are treated at this location. I would appreciate hearing what steps will be taken regarding this matter.
