Found this place highly recommended and I saw people racing about Trey constantly. I have really dry, coarse, wavy hair and really wanted to find someone who could not only cut hair well, but also give me advice on how to care for it so it doesn't look like a hay bail on my head after a few weeks. Needless to say, Trey didn't disappoint :) He not only provided a great haircut, but took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my hair, what to do / what not to do, and educated me on what to look for in products so that my hair could be properly hydrated. For the first time in my life my hair is actually soft and I couldn't be happier! He also gave me his card so I could message him in case I had any questions. I booked for a cut with a senior stylist and when I arrived I did a consultation and agreed on the stylist cutting 2 inches due to dead/split ends. I showed her the inspo for the type of layers I was looking for to give me a big bouncy blowout the next day before my marriage ceremony. I noted how I hadn't had a cut in a while because I wasn't satisfied with the previous cut elsewhere , she said she understood and would give me medium layers with no curtain bang because my face framing pieces are "too thin". I assumed I'd get a great cut and once she finished, I couldn't quite tell the length. But when I got into my car and moved all my hair to the front, I realized she definitely made a mistake. I'd say about 6 inches were taken off. AT LEAST. I cried for 10 minutes about it and even my best friend was visibly shocked at the amount of hair she took off. I will be calling for a refund and will not be returning. I don't even feel like myself and especially on my big day ??!! Very upsetting.

I was so excited to try this salon after reading all the positive reviews, but I left incredibly…read moredisappointed. I came in asking for a simple trim, about one inch off, and a very subtle face frame. I also made it clear multiple times that I did not want layers. Instead, I left with a head full of layers and what appears to be at least three inches cut off the back instead of the one inch I requested. During the haircut, I could tell it was heading in the direction I specifically asked to avoid, so I reiterated that I didn't want layers. Despite that, the haircut continued the same way. When I asked afterward why I had been given layers, I was initially told they weren't layers. Once I pointed them out bc they clearly were, I was told, "It looks better that way," and "It will grow out." I don't appreciate the attempt to gaslight me as if I can't see the cut and don't know how long my hair was. A stylist's personal preference should never override what a client explicitly requests. Hair takes months to grow back, and this isn't something that can simply be undone. Disappointed that the experience did not live up to the online reputation. This seems to be such a common issue. Why?!
