I ran up to Home Depot and purchased it (I had already read the reviews & had a strong recommendation from my brother) and Mike was able to send guys out to install the new one the same day. I wasn't expecting such quick service but I was really getting frustrated with the old one and calling Apple Garage Door was the best thing! The guys were here less than an hour and took the old one away. All the remotes worked including the keypad. The opener is quiet too. I will definitely use them again if needed. While my brother volunteered to install it, using Apple Garage Door was the best solution. The price was very reasonable too.

The technician spent about 20-30 minutes on-site and installed a standard perforated metal support bar. I was then charged over $130 for that part, which is widely available at Home Depot for around $20-$30. In addition, I was charged a $49.95 service fee, despite being told over the phone that this fee would be applied toward the total cost. That was not honored. Labor was billed at $289 for less than half an hour of work, implying an extremely high effective hourly rate. When I later raised concerns and requested a reasonable adjustment, the company refused to provide a fair resolution and instead offered a minimal refund only if I agreed not to leave reviews or pursue the matter further. The repair itself is functional, but the installation is visually intrusive and not what I would consider a professional finish. Overall, I found the pricing to be non-transparent and significantly above reasonable expectations. I would recommend getting multiple quotes and confirming all costs in writing before proceedi
