I ran up to Home Depot and purchased it (I had already read the reviews & had a strong recommendation from my brother) and Mike was able to send guys out to install the new one the same day. He said no, Mike had retired and sold his business/phone number to ANYTIME GARAGE DOOR TX. We discussed the work, the price and I asked about payment since I knew nothing about this company and had not been informed about any of their terms. To make a long story short, it appears they will only take cash or credit cards, I called the office to see if they could take an ACH payment, Zelle or check, and to try to make some kind of arrangements so Keller could do the work he was out there to do, but no go. When I asked to speak to a manager about working something out I was told they were all in meetings and unavailable so we didn't get the work done. This company that has taken over Apple Garage Door does not have the same ethics that Mike had and I will never recommend them after the way they have represented themselves to me. The brace reinforced a panel that was slightly damaged. Without the brace the door would likely fail at some point.
