I'm just now posting this review, 5 years later, after having a reputable company service our 2 car and single car doors 2 weeks ago and finding out how Reliant ripped me off. Here's how they did it. Only panels, rollers, and drums replaced for $600.00. The service I just had done 2 weeks ago revealed all the old parts, including the worn out spring, were reused. The door ran rough and was heavy to open, poorly balanced, and the spring was torqued to its maximum causing a potential catastrophic failure. My advice is to request a full list of parts replaced and verify the work done. Raise and lower the door manually, checking the weight and the smoothness of operation. This technician knew how to rip us off. The receipt looked like a 10 year old designed it. Perhaps they're a better company now.

About 2 hours later I got a call that one was on the way. He was able to not only fix my garage door that had the wire break off that held it up, but he also fixed the trim around it. I was a little nervous to expect a high bill but was pleasantly surprised when it only came to $125. The man who came was incredibly kind & helpful, & he took extra time to explain how my specific garage door worked. He gave me a quote to replace my motor since mine is a couple generations old but I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me a new one.
