I needed a 20 year old garage door opener replaced as it was starting to have problems. When I called Mike at Apple Garage Door, he recommended a replacement that just happened to be on sale at Home Depot. I ran up to Home Depot and purchased it (I had already read the reviews & had a strong recommendation from my brother) and Mike was able to send guys out to install the new one the same day. I wasn't expecting such quick service but I was really getting frustrated with the old one and calling Apple Garage Door was the best thing! The guys were here less than an hour and took the old one away. All the remotes worked including the keypad. The opener is quiet too. I will definitely use them again if needed. While my brother volunteered to install it, using Apple Garage Door was the best solution. The price was very reasonable too. read more

Our garage door snapped off this morning when we were rushing to get the kids to school. Called Mike @ Apple Garage door and he was here in less than an hour, and quickly fixed our problem. When we asked if we need to replace anything, he said "no, I'm trying to save you money, not to make you spend money." When we asked him how we should pay him, he said no charge. A honest business owner with integrity, whom we will recommend to all of our friends and family, and for all of our garage door needs going forward. read more

Great service and prices. Fixed my spring and installed a new opener. Fast and reliable.

I sent Mike a text on October 17, 2024 and received no call back or text. I then called the number I had and asked for Mike. I was told he was not available but the person who answered said she would be glad to help me get someone out to take care of my garage door problem. I gave her the number of my tenant so she could schedule around her. She said the service person would call before doing any work to let me know what was going on and what the charge would be after he assessed the problem. Today, October 22 and a week since that call, I got a call from a PRIVATE NUMBER and it was Keller, the service person saying he was there at the house and informing me of the service I needed. He also tried to upsell me on a new motor for the door opener, since this one was older. This did not sound like Mike from Apple Garage Doors so I asked him if he worked for Mike. He said no, Mike had retired and sold his business/phone number to ANYTIME GARAGE DOOR TX. We discussed the work, the price and I asked about payment since I knew nothing about this company and had not been informed about any of their terms. To make a long story short, it appears they will only take cash or credit cards, I called the office to see if they could take an ACH payment, Zelle or check, and to try to make some kind of arrangements so Keller could do the work he was out there to do, but no go. When I asked to speak to a manager about working something out I was told they were all in meetings and unavailable so we didn't get the work done. This company that has taken over Apple Garage Door does not have the same ethics that Mike had and I will never recommend them after the way they have represented themselves to me. Nothing about this was upfront, my work didn't get done, their service guy didn't get to do a job and the company is getting a negative review! What a waste of time all the way around. As a realtor I have clients asking for referrals for every type of business that is home related, I would NEVER recommend ANYTIME GARAGE DOOR TX to any of them and will let my Ebby Halliday associates know what their clients can expect from this poorly operated company. read more

I found Apple Garage Door thru my neighborhood FB page and saw glad I did! I called Mike and within an hour he was in my garage getting me fixed! He was quick and reasonably priced. I referred him to a friend this week that had two springs broken on their two garage doors. Said Mike had immediately responded and had them repaired within 30 minutes. So kudos to Apple!!! read more

They respond super quickly and you can not beat his prices. He is quick, honest, and a great guy. We have used him several times amd he will continue to be our first call for all things related to garage doors. read more

Mike was a super nice guy. Showed up within an hour of me leaving a message and found out my issue was a simple fix (my 4 year old must've locked the garage door). He unlocked it, made sure nothing was damaged and everything worked right and didn't charge me when I offered to pay for his time! I remembered using him for a repair about 8 years ago at our old house. The repair went well, was quick, the cost was affordable and he was such a nice guy that I remembered his company 8 years later. read more

Mike helped me select new garage door motors to upgrade my home and sent Drew to install them. Quality work, reasonable prices, quick response and wonderful service! read more

We had an incident where our garage door was shut on our car as it was backing out of the garage. We called Apple garage door service and they were able to come out the next day. Mike was awesome and had our garage door repaired in about 20 minutes at an extremely reasonable rate. He also quoted us a replacement door for about 60% of the cost another company had quoted, if it needed to be replaced. We will definitely be calling again for any garage door needs we will have in the future. read more

Mike Green and his team did a great job replacing our garage door opener. They came out to our house within a couple days and quickly installed our new opener. I really appreciated the advice Mike gave me and how he took care of us. A few days after they came, I noticed they did a minor repair on one of my cabinets. it was a really nice surprise. I'd definitely hire them again. Thank you Apple Garage Door! read more

I've used Apple Garage for years. Years ago, something like 15 or so, I first had Mike come replace a spring on a rental property. He was prompt, worked quickly, but still focused on doing the job right. Since then, in our own home, I've called them in and Mike either came over himself or sent in one of his couple of guys to take care of things. Every one of them has been prompt, polite, quick and did the job right at a fair price. I always send folks to Apple for garage door work. K, Lewisville, TX read more

Our garage door became disengaged last night and I tired fixing it and it wasn't closing all the way and left about a foot opening at the bottom. I called Mike and he said he would be there the next morning. Mike showed up the next morning and was so kind. Although he said he didn't usually work on this certain brand of garage door and they usually take a special computer to program correctly, he tried a couple of things and got it to work in less than 5 minutes! He didn't even charge us although I tried to pay him! If I ever need a new garage door or have issues again, Mike will be the first person I call or recommend to others. Great customer service. Thanks Mike! read more

I called Mike today when the Big Spring on my Garage door busted. Mike was awesome he was at my front door within 20 minutes, fixed it in another 20 minutes.. I still can't believe I got this issue fixed as fast as I did. I thought this was going to take days.. On top of that, Mike was about 50 percent cheaper than other places.. If something goes wrong with your garage door I would recommend him to you. It's very rare to see this kind of service these days.. when u find someone good...hold on.. btw, this is also another great example of a great find on Yelp. Finding good service providers out there is hard work, The reviews that were on Yelp looked authentic .. I'm glad I listened.. and am adding 1 more to the pile. ;) read more

My old garage door spring broke on my garage door after 17 years and I couldn't get out. I called Apple expecting to set an appointment for a couple of days from now. He was at my house in less than an hour, repaired and upgraded the springs so now if one fails, the other will at least allow me to get out in the future. He fixed it in less than 30 minutes. A freakin' garage door banshee. He is the guy you want for your garage door repair. The total job price was no nonsense and less than expected. Very satisfied with the work. read more

This guy is so good. We have used him 6 times over the 15 years we have lived in Plano. He shows up as quickly as Batman whenever we send up or Bat Signal and gets the job done. Thanks so much for such great service. read more

I love it when Yelp finds me the best company possible, even with garage door service. Mike was amazing. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable (ask someone what a Genie tape drive is), he is honest. This is the number one quality in my book. He will get your garage door working again without trying to scam you into anything else. Thanks Yelp and Thanks Mike! read more

They responded promptly and dispatched the next day since we told them we weren't in a hurry and there was no rush. One of our doors would not open with the remote but the other door would and the wall switch still worked for both doors. Parts are hard to come by right now with insanely high diesel prices and they didn't know how long it would take to get the needed part so we asked them to replace the opener. It was expensive, but everything is so much more expensive now and we were pleased with the results. read more

We've been using Apple Garage Door for almost 7 years now and have always had a great experience. He installed our doors shortly after we moved into our house and has been out about 3 times for repairs. Once it was a spring that broke and twice it has been minor things - light bulbs not working and garage door bouncing back. He always oils everything while he is here AND sometimes doesn't charge us anything for those really quick visits. Can't say enough positive things! read more

Had a spring break on our garage door and the door wouldn't move. Called a few places. Felt like I was going to be taken advantage of by the deception and prices quoted. Finally called Apple Garage Door due to recommendations on our subdivision Facebook page. It was unanimous for Apple. Called and Mike gave me the straight info, reasonable quote, and came over within minutes. Very honest, hard-working and willing to educate you about everything. He did the work, also needed a new gear on the motor which broke. Told me just what I needed and no more. Saved hundreds of $ vs. what I could have paid going down the wrong path with the others. Highly recommend! read more
