Poor customer service, I know it is covid and times are tough but I have called twice to try and get my eyebrows done and they don't take appointments. The lady only told me I had to be there before 5:45pm which I was but once I got there there were other people waiting she said if I finish before 6pm I'll take you which I knew she wouldn't. This is an overdue rating. I went in to NS Threading a couple months ago. I usually go to Beauty by Dolly but NS threading is a lot closer to home and next to my cleaners and Yoga place, so I thought i would try it. There was only one girl working, unfortunately I do not recall her name. I wanted my entire face done. I went in without any makeup on. I have very bad melasma on my cheeks and forehead so I do not like being without makeup. I sat in the chair and the girl asked if my face was tattooed (where i suffer from melasma). Seriously? Tattooed? I could not even believe she had the nerve to ask such a question. I told her I had melasma. To which she replied, "Oh my mom has that". Well if your mom has it clearly you should know what it is and not rudely ask if i had a tattoo on my face! I was very disappointed with her lack of courtesy. The 2 stars given was generous. I went in for a upper lip and brow thread today. Both services took a total of 5 minutes, total. No prep, and no plucking to get the stray and stubborn hairs out. The tech was not thorough. Of course, I found this out after I got home with my 10x mirror. I'm now finishing the tech's unfinished job with a spring coil and tweezers. The prices are inexpensive, so I guess I got what I paid for. Next time, I'll spend the gas money, pay extra and go to Dolly's Downtown, like I should have. read more

Worst eyebrows place I've ever been to! Just went here because I was in the area. The lady who did my eyebrows was unsanitary, her hand smelling like food. Secondly, she did mine painfully leaving cuts. I did not bother at first because (I've threading my eyebrows for about 15yrs now and )I know it could be painful at times depending on the thread they are using and could leave you with cut but this is not normal as she cut me several times on both sides. Thirdly, the manager (I supposed) tried to check the cuts with her bare hands unsanitized! She said the staff who did my eyebrows is new! Then train your staff properly! read more

Stephanie is the best! I've been coming to this location for about a year now and every time she slays my eyebrows perfectly! She is super friendly and nice. She does have a lot of clients coming to her every time she works so beware of waiting on days that she works which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. It's no surprise that she has a lot of clients, she really takes her time when she's with you and makes sure that you look good! I recommend checking her out. They do give out a stamp card, but if you do forget it they just stamp your receipt and it still counts. Price is reasonable, $1 charge if you use a credit card - just a heads up. Stephanie is my #1 eyebrow lady, always keeping my eyebrows on fleek! And also if you tear up a little while getting your eyebrows done like I do, she's totally nice about it and doesn't make you feel like a weakling hahaha. Everyone who has done my eyebrows here always does a fantastic job. I have a scar on one of my eyebrows and other places I have gone to always thin out both sides although I ask them to avoid that and to just leave the hair above and below the scar as is. Unfortunately, I have to write this review as I hope management does get around to reading this and taking into consideration to better the place. Tried this threading place 2 times to give it an adequate review, however, each time was extremely unsatisfactory. I go to the yoga studio next door so having a threading place in the same plaza is ideal! However, the 2 times I went (had my eyebrows done by 2 different people), i was just shocked and left wondering how the place is still running. 1st experience: went around 6 pm and was empty. Was helped right away, however, the girl doing my eyebrows did not shape them properly. Went to my yoga class and later noticed i had a big red scratch under my eyebrow - probably from her thread or nail? 2nd experience: This was probably the worst experience I have ever had for eyebrow threading. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was 16 and I thread them once in 3 weeks, so that says a lot. For some reason, the girl was going extra slow and felt like she was trying to take out one hair at a time? I am not sure but it just felt extremely uncomfortable until I just had to tell her to stop and that I no longer wanted to continue. She then apologized and said she is trying to get the shape right and will go faster. Anyway, it didn't get any better - it just seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. Seriously, please train your employees before placing them on the floor - the place has great potential and would attract a ton of customers, however, the employees definitely need some training. Love, love, love this place! For the longest time, I've gotten my eyebrows waxed. But over time, I've realized that sometimes they can't always get the precise angle, especially when using wax. I've come back here a few times, and every time I leave, my eyebrows look BOMB. They know their shapes and angles and what works best for you. They even fill them in if you ask them to. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Stephanie does an amazing job on my eyebrows every time. She always remembers how I like my brows threaded and to shape them just right. The place is always clean and neat. I've been coming here for about a year now and I've had a great experience at every visit. Even if I had to wait, the wait was never more than 20 minutes. I stopped here after going to the gym and errand at target. I often go to Dolly's thou thought I would try this kiosk, since I was steps away. Nilo the owner very friendly and professional. Looked like a great job especially after filling my brows with powder. Price is reasonable and she is professional. She's been doing this for 16 years. Until I washed my face that I noticed She removed lots of my eyebrows and I surprised and disappointed. The right eyebrow is half the size of my brow. I am not going to go on, Thou unhappy because my brows especially on top grow very slow. If coming here, pay attention and I did mention that I like to keep the thickness of my brow.
