I was supposed to stay 16 days in this so called luxury hotel. That was the way it was described on Priceline. We had trouble from day 1.I had one room and my 82 year old mom had the other. The tub was so high, she couldn't get in it. They offered to change our rooms but we had to do it . There was no help. Our new rooms had too many problems for a luxury hotel. No air conditioning is number 1. My safe was not working and I reported it to the front desk. I had to go down 5 consecutive days to report it. First I was told they would be right up. A few days later , Michael says, no one told you that we had to order a part? 5 days later it was fixed. My moms fridge had to be swapped out because that didn't work. The carpets were stained. It looked like someone was murdered in my room. Don't get me wrong, the house staff kept my room clean and neat. No problems there. They don't supply stationary or pens. They also do not supply face cloths . They call them flannels in the UK. The railings on the glass shower door were loose and also the one on the wall. Maintenance came up to fix them in both rooms. The shower knob was stuck and maintenance came up to fix that, In both rooms. The wall was separating from the shower ( see photo below) . To top everything off, the entrance of the hotel was broken for days. Anyone off the street could have came in. The front trash can wasn't emptied for days ( see photo below). So after staying there for 7 days, we had to leave. I asked for refund on the unused days but the front desk said take it up with the third party I booked with. I paid in advance and I wasn't entitled to a refund for the unused days. I think I should have been because the hotel was not what the description said it was and the many inconvienences they put us through should warrant a partial refund for each room.
