Hawk was very responsive, has very reasonable rates for coming to my house to clean area rugs. He did the work thoroughly and efficiently and my rugs are sparkly clean and ready to travel to my new home. Hawk was also very good at communicating..never left me hanging about when he would arrive or what services he would provide. I have already hired him to do carpet cleaning at the house and know he will do an outstanding job! read more

I am very happy with my experience with Hawk and his team. I only needed one room done in my rental so other companies were charging me a high minimum charge. Hawk had the lowest minimum of anyone I called and also was willing to deodorize. Plus, they could come the next day which is way sooner than most other companies. The team arrived on time and ready with their own water (mine is off) and did a beautiful job in a short time. I thought there was no way this gross carpet could look good but it looks like new and smells good too. Tip- make sure to have a checkbook or cash to avoid a charge for credit card. He waived it for me since I didn't know about it though which was nice. read more

Great workers. Hawk was on top of his correspondence and scheduling. He and his associate were great workers; they cleaned the carpets in our new home quickly and efficiently. He triple checked his calculations to make sure he was giving me the right price. They cleaned 7 rooms, a hallway, and two stairways in just over an hour. Multiple spots that were on the carpet can longer be found! Definitely recommend. read more

They were able to accommodate me during the weekend, good communication both through text and over the phone. They were able to remove the high traffic area stains. Carpet looks amazing. Quick and punctual with the appointment. And best of all Competitive prices! read more

Couldn't have asked for a better service experience! They were quick to respond to my request for a quote, had Saturday hours, and were very reasonably priced. That won my appointment booking right there. Hawk showed up on time. He reviewed with me the work he was going to perform. He performed the work with quality and excellence, then he reviewed it with me afterwards to make sure I was happy. He was respectful of my home by protecting the corners of the walls and made sure his equipment was not in the way. He came to do a couch cleaning and did a terrific job. Color was restored and the odor that was left in it by a tenant was all gone. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. read more

The service was excellent and quick. They didn't express any issues cleaning the third level of my townhouse and cleaned up everything with no reminders. read more

I generally read more reviews than I write, but had to write one here. I was searching for a carpet cleaner at the last minute (read: 11pm on a Thursday night for a Saturday service.). I went through all of the top rated reviews and was honestly pretty impressed. When I was requesting quotes, the option to send my information to other vendors appeared. Of course, I clicked all of them to compare prices & services, with the goal of obtaining the best value. Again, this is 11pm on Thursday night... Steam Masters, quite to my surprise, responded almost immediately. Hawk, the owner, quickly and easily provided me a rough quote. I sent him photos and two quick videos of the areas needing service. He came back with a firm quote & I said let's do it. Here we are Saturday afternoon. We scheduled an 11am appointment & Hawk was at the house at 10:50. We walked through the property to identify any potential trouble spots and he got right to work. Two hours later, et voila... all done. Hawk explained the process and what exactly he did. We walked through the property, wearing shoe booties he provided (Nice touch. Appreciate the attention to detail!) His work, just like his level of responsiveness, was on point! To illustrate the nastiness he was able to extract from the carpet, Hawk showed me the clean water tank, the water that was extracted from my carpets, and a lint trap contraption (don't know the name) of solids (mainly dog hair) he pulled out of the carpet. Wow! In short, this guy was super cool, knows his craft, and runs a solid business. I would gladly use him again & recommend his business to anyone looking to have carpets cleaned. I have no connection to Hawk or his business, nor was I compensated for the review. This guy earned it all on his own! read more

Hawk and his team did a perfect job. They were on time, quick and very professional and did an amazing job on my carpet, I had some pet urine stains from the previous owners, after they were done, the spots were basically gone. They also cleaned an area rug and did a magnificent job on that. I think the price was fair. 100% recommended. I will hire them again. read more

Great job. Quick response. Best price. The best choice for carpet cleaning in Northern Virginia.

NOVA steamers did an AMAZING cleaning job. They are very knowledgeable, prompt, respectful, and kind. They removed stains which other carpet cleaners couldn't and didn't up-charge me. Quality work for a great price. read more

Quick response and very professional, I was very happy about the result. Under promise and over deliver. They steam cleaned and brushed the carpet to give a fresh look, initially they said the ink may stay the same, at the end the ink was almost unnoticeable read more

Great communication, were on time, and honest people wanting to do a good job. All around good experience, will definitely use them again.

This company did a great job on our rental property. Carpets hadn't been cleaned in about 5 years. The tenants left a mess with dark/black stains and red/pink stains on the carpet. I would say Nova Steamers was able to restore our carpets 95% of the way to its previous condition before the last tenants moved in. They did a really good job on the dark/black stains. Some of the red stains couldn't come out all the way, but that was understandable. Red is a notoriously difficult color to remove. I think the dark stains were dirt/oil-based stains so were easier to remove. Communication was excellent. They did provide the most thorough quote out of all the carpet companies we contacted, and we found their pricing very reasonable. All carpet cleaning companies seem to give virtual/phone only quotes now due to COVID, so we were a little leery about not getting a firm price in-person first, but the pricing stayed consistent when they showed up the day of the scheduled carpet cleaning. They arrived on time and gave text notices both when they were on the way and when they were almost done. They said it would take about two hours to do two levels of a 3-story single family house including a hallway and two sets of stairs, and that was pretty spot on. They also gave advice like keeping the AC below 70 degrees and turning on the ceiling fans to speed drying. Would definitely use them again and will recommend them to our next tenants or anyone who needs to get their carpets cleaned. read more

Very professional and competitively priced. I highly recommend this company because of the good work they have done on my old rugs and carpet. I had one rug which I really like but contemplated replacing because I could no longer get the spots out. Nova Steamer took the rug away and completely cleaned both sides. It looks like new now and is more comfortable under foot, too. read more

After a handyman did work in my house with no regard for my new white shag rug, I was desperate to find someone who could clean it fairly quickly and at a reasonable price. I sent messages to several companies and most either wanted too much for it or couldn't clean it without removing it from my home. I was also told by other companies that shag rugs are difficult to clean and there was no guarantee that the rug would look good afterwards. Messaging the owner of this company was like a breath of fresh air. He responded promptly, addressed all of my concerns and even gave me a nice discount. He arrived on time and did a fantastic job cleaning both my rug and car. He is very honest and I am very impressed by how clean everything looks! I would recommend this company over others if anyone is looking for quality work done at a more than reasonable price. read more

I used this for carpet cleaning for an entire house. The job was very thorough and some old/set-in stains were removed. Very surprised and happy with the job done! read more

Wow! Hawk came out and the cleaned our couches, chairs and ottoman. We have two dogs who love to lounge and too often choose to sneak on to our furniture. Hawk not only cleaned and deodorized each piece, but also cleaned our steps and hallway. Everything looks and SMELLS brand new! We would definitely recommend Hawk and Nova Steamers! read more

Steam Masters came over to clean two of my large area rugs. The crew was polite and professional and did a great job of cleaning my rugs. The rugs had a lot of dirt that our dogs had tracked in from the backyard. They did a great job relatively quickly, and their method left the rugs clean and nearly dry. If I compare the cost of having the rugs picked up and cleaned per square foot, this was much more cost effective. I will be calling them again. read more

Hawk and his colleague could not have been kinder, or more communicative. Beforehand, they accommodated my special project and replied to my every communique. Once on-premises, they explained everything they would do and once done, the price was exactly what they said, no hidden costs. I recommend these honorable men! read more
