Amazing first class service all around. This family owned business cleaned my entire home carpets (three levels). They did an incredible job compared to other carpet cleaning companies we have used in the past. Their prices are quite fair for the quality. Highly recommend them. I appreciated smooth and professional communication all along including after the job was done. Absolute A+++ service. read more

They are great people to work with and do a great job on even the dirtiest, oldest, smelliest area rugs you may have. They will pick up and deliver (for a reasonable fee) and maintain communications well. I will not hesitiate to use them again for area rugs, wall-to-wall, upholstery or anything other service they provide. Thank you, John and Lynn! read more

I moved to Chevy Chase and in a high rise now. John came and cleaned my new carpets and does an truly amazing job with some tough pet stains. Highly recommend this family owned business. read more

They came highly recommended by my neighbors (like 50 of them on the main FB page) so we gave them a call. It's a family business while I love, but even more important was the quality of the clean and the customer service. Absolutely the nicest people and holy freaking cow did he CLEAN those carpets. He got stains out of my wool area rug that every other machine and company had failed. It looked amazing. He also did some of our synthetic shag rug accent rugs and those looked brand new.. which is amazing bc our Great Danes track in everything and of course, are drawn to the white rugs . I'm about to book them to do our move out carpet cleaning and I have no doubts it'll look great. The pricing was cheaper than most and honestly the quality was superior to the last 2 companies we used--win win. read more

Great company! We volunteered to watch a friends dog. Unfortunately it had an accident on our brand new wool rug. Remarkable Difference cam e to the rescue and removed what we were unable to get out. They were very professional, efficient and on time. Thank you! read more

Selling my house and needed to get the carpets deep cleaned for open house. I always wait until the last minute to schedule things. It's a character flaw for sure, but this time it worked out to my advantage. Got on my local neighborhood FB page and found this place highly recommended. I gave them a call and told them my dates available, and Lynn informed me they were booked up, as it was just days away. She then offered to contact an old employee of theirs who also cleans carpets, suggesting he might be available. Really?!?! Who does that? Goes out of their way with customer service, while not benefiting at all? Lynn does, that's who. That lead was busy too, but later that night she called and told me John would squeeze us in between jobs. She offered an additional visit just in case he wasn't able to get it all in one trip. I got several quotes beforehand, and their prices were competitive, as well they gave us a military discount. I am so impressed with this company. Their level of customer service and quality of work makes them remarkably different from the competitors. Highly recommend you call Lynn & John for your carpet care needs! read more

We had our carpets cleaned by this amazing family owned and operated local business today and let me tell you... WOW! We have 3 kids, 2 dogs and a cat and the carpet is very lived on. John and his son have our carpet looking almost new! I really wish I had taken before pictures to show just how great their work is and they also we just so nice and professional. A real pleasure to work with. 10 out of 10 will call again and would recommend! And the prices were very fair! read more

WOW! needed a 20+ y/o basement carpet cleaned for house sale, it had been through 2 owners, 5 kids, 5 dogs, a wet bar, pool table, foosball table and lots of good times! we were certain we would have to replace it. This awesome family owned and operated company came out and made it look new. and they still have customer service! they were personable, took care not to hurt our wood floors and worked their tails off- I was very impressed in every way! I would highly recommend and use again in a heartbeat! read more

Remarkable carpet did an excellent job cleaning my old carpet and removing stains. When I called to get an estimate, I described the stains, the woman that answered was sure that John could remove them. She quoted a price and I told her that I was going to get more estimates and I would let her know. She explained the cleaning process that John uses so that I could compare apples to apples. She said that some companies use a process that may remove the stain temporarily but it would return once the carpet is dry. I had another company come to my house for an in home estimate and they were not sure they could remove the stains. They said that the stain may remove temporarily but then it may "rewick". I immediately thought of my conversation with the lady from Remarkable. I called and scheduled with Remarkable and John came out within a couple of days. He did an AMAZING job, truly Remarkable. They live up to the name, from the phone call, to the quick turn around time to the Remarkable results. read more

Remarkable Difference lives up to the name! I cannot believe that I have been steam cleaning my carpets for years and years, wasting my money because the stains didn't come out. There is no comparison between the way Remarkable Difference does the job, and other services that do not use hot water extraction. I wanted to replace my carpets after 8 years, but I'm so happy that a friend told me about this-- my carpets truly look brand new! Highly recommended and worth every penny!! read more

Our 22 year old sectional sofa was really soiled and showing its age. After deciding to clean rather than replace, we chose Remarkable Difference. They are a small company owned by John Triggs , and he is the one who performed the cleaning. He did an excellent, thorough job and the sofa looks much cleaner and brighter and we'll definitely be keeping it. We were very impressed with John's friendliness and professionalism. He carefully covered the flooring, moved furniture without harming the hardwood flooring, and then moved everything back when finished. He explained the process, what we could expect, asked if we had questions. He spent a lot of time on our sectional sofa and did a very thorough job. Upon completion he gave us instructions on how to deal with future stains and to call him if we need help with a stain and he would help us. We definitely recommend Remarkable Difference for upholstery and carpet cleaning. read more

This is the first review I have ever written, but Remarkable Difference just made a remarkable difference on my carpets! I thought I would have to replace the carpet on the steps leading from my basement to the first floor because they were so stained, but now the carpet looks new. The two bedrooms he cleaned also look great. The owner John Triggs does all the work himself and is very pleasant and professional. He explained the process to me and it seems superior to regular steam cleaning. He gave me a range for the estimate and stayed within it. I am a checkbook subscriber and he has top ratings over there. I saw he had no reviews on Yelp and wanted to start him off right. Although the business is headquartered in Centreville, VA, his service area is much larger and includes DC and many counties in both Maryland and Virginia. Highly recommend. read more

Lynne & John Triggs own the business and provide incredible customer service. John did an outstanding job cleaning our off white carpet and it looked like new! A coffee spill seemed like a disaster just a few weeks after the cleaning - John came out the same day I called and quickly worked on the stain. I highly recommend Remarkable Difference and will not use any other carpet cleaning service! read more
