They had a live band that was setting up on a Friday evening around 8. Their old fashioned that was good. Unfortunately the food was below average. The empanadas were oily. The buffalo chicken wings barely had buffalo sauce and also felt oily. The fries on the mini burgers arrived cold. The service was good. When we mentioned the cold fries, waitress brought us a fresh batch of fries. She also gave us a free juice mocktail that was a nice touch. Full marks for drinks, vibe and music. The food wouldn't be what brings us back.

I was not disappointed with this decision because later, it does get cramped with people and the live band (live music fridays and saturday). The crispy chicken bites were delicious, so crisp. The aida flatbread was good, however it was not my top choice because of the texture and amount of toppings. Drinks were strong but I am not complaining about that! With the live music it does get loud, you're pretty much screaming at your partner. I would recommend to try but it does seem like a spot with regulars.

The proof is in my blurry photos! Service was excellent. The staff is professional and courteous. I ended up buying several bottles of wine from the shop next door who carried the featured wines for the event. I will definitely come back for another event.

We ordered two starters the chicken croquettes and short rib empanadas. The chicken croquettes were flavorful but the empanadas lacked filling and flavor. The side of crispy potatoes paired well with it!

Small, neighborhood place with excellent food that still somehow always manages to find me a table…read more Favorites are Meatloaf and the burgers. Very good desserts, too. I wrote the above just before we went tonight (yelp prompt). I'm not changing the rating because anyone can have an off night, but wow, this was an off night. Took 5-7 minutes to see the hostess (this is a SMALL place). Iceberg lettuce with chicken was absolutely drowned in dressing (The part I was able to eat was very good)....chicken tender and perfectly cooked, and lots of it. Desserts (after a few false starts....it was the tail end of their service...took them a few minutes to figure out what they did and didn't have) were lukewarm almost cold, not hot (chocolate lava is ordinarily great, blueberry crumble would have been great had it been hot). Our waiter must have gone home in the middle of our meal; handoff wasn't very good. My rating stands.... suspect just a bad night for them after many good ones.

They were PACKED and we were warned that food was taking longer than usual. A bit loud in the restaurant. The kids got pasta and chicken fingers. I got the bbq rips with French fries and green beans. Huge portion and the ribs were delicious! The desert of the day was peach crumb pie- wasn't a fan of the filling. Definitely didn't taste like fresh peaches, but canned. It was thick & gooey. The kids enjoyed the ice cream and chocolate cake.

However, things all of a sudden halted for me the 2nd the bartender told my date they had to order something despite me ordering a $15 cocktail. My immediate thought was to say, "Okay, we'll be on our way then." I didn't like that my date was pressured into ordering something. THEN she hits us with "cash only." Ugh. The cocktails. She was majorly pushing these concoctions she'd made up and said every single cocktail was $15, so we might as well go with the boozier one (as opposed to what we wanted which was something simple like gin & tonic), so we relented. They were OK. Would never order again, though. Other than the desperation and pushiness of the bartender, the ambiance was great! Fun clientele and gothy decor. If she had just eased up, I would honestly have this place be my go-to bar in town as opposed to never wanting to go again. Shame.
