No problem -- we were happy to wait and ordered drinks. We had a friend with us, and we were excited to bring her to one of our favorite spots. A server seated us in a large booth and we settled in. After 45 minutes of waiting, they brought menus -- and then moments later informed us we had to move to a small table in case a larger party came in. We'd been sitting in that booth for nearly an hour, waiting on them. The restaurant was practically empty. There was no manager on site, just a server telling us "it's our policy" with zero flexibility or apology. The waitress was abrupt and dismissive, and our loyalty as regulars meant nothing. It was rude and very embarrassing. We paid our drink tab and left. The food here has always been good, which makes this so disappointing. But being treated like an inconvenience after years of patronage isn't something we'll forget -- or repeat.

They were PACKED and we were warned that food was taking longer than usual. A bit loud in the restaurant. The kids got pasta and chicken fingers. I got the bbq rips with French fries and green beans. Huge portion and the ribs were delicious! The desert of the day was peach crumb pie- wasn't a fan of the filling. Definitely didn't taste like fresh peaches, but canned. It was thick & gooey. The kids enjoyed the ice cream and chocolate cake.

We were seated right away and put in an order for Mac and cheese for my 2 great granddaughters when we gave the drink order. When they filled our water glasses they brought out 2 cups with lids and straws for the children. A basket of bread with butter helps to settle the little ones. My daughter of course brought crayons and paper for the 2 little ones to keep occupied. My daughter had her favorite appetizer which is Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. My son in law had one of the salads. I ordered the Classic Burger with cheese. My son in law ordered the Burger 22. When I stacked my burger together it was so thick it was very cumbersome to handle and bite into. It was also very juicy because I ordered medium rare. So I removed the top bun and finished off with a fork and knife. There were not many tables filled tonight so it was pleasantly quiet. The food was great and the kids were fantastic. Sal E. We had short ribs (special), hearts of palm salad, gazpacho (special), and grilled salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes (special). My dining companions had nothing but good things to say about their salmon and short ribs, and I was very happy with my gazpacho, and my hearts of palm salad, which included julienned carrots and bleu cheese. Drinks and desserts were also received well. The decor is pleasant, and there is outside seating available in the warmer months.

The restaurant is small and cozy. Large metal chandeliers adorn the ceilings and it has an upscale, rustic vibe with candles on the tables. Their menu is enticing. It's Italian inspired, but has lots of variety beyond the classic dishes. The appetizers were fantastic. The crispy artichokes were airy and melted in your mouth. The brussel sprouts were deliciously crispy with a pleasantly sweet sauce. I enjoyed the pistachios on them. The eggplant fries were a unique offering and very tasty topped with crumbled parmesan cheese. They would've been even better with a dipping sauce. For my main, I had the mushroom ravioli. The sauce was rich and creamy and it was topped with sharp parmesan and arugula. I enjoyed it, but the portion size was quite small, as the dish only included four pieces of ravioli. My husband got the black linguine and enjoyed the accompanying cream sauce with shrimp and lobster. To drink, I had the queen margherita, which was nice and tangy from the passion fruit. The waiters were great about refilling our water. The entrees took a little while to come out, but overall service was good. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

I also ordered the Greek salad which was decent. Hubby ordered baked clams and they were to die for. He also ordered the chicken Parmesan which was okay. It's not the best I've had but it was so so. I wouldn't order it again. Honestly, it was the version I would have made at home: fried chicken cutlet with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Nothing fancy. The best chicken parmigiana I've had has been at Peppino's in Katonah, NY and T & J in Port Chester, NY.

However, things all of a sudden halted for me the 2nd the bartender told my date they had to order something despite me ordering a $15 cocktail. My immediate thought was to say, "Okay, we'll be on our way then." I didn't like that my date was pressured into ordering something. THEN she hits us with "cash only." Ugh. The cocktails. She was majorly pushing these concoctions she'd made up and said every single cocktail was $15, so we might as well go with the boozier one (as opposed to what we wanted which was something simple like gin & tonic), so we relented. They were OK. Would never order again, though. Other than the desperation and pushiness of the bartender, the ambiance was great! Fun clientele and gothy decor. If she had just eased up, I would honestly have this place be my go-to bar in town as opposed to never wanting to go again. Shame.

rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience on Cinco de Mayo was extremely disappointing…read more We had a reservation and expected the restaurant to be busy because of the holiday. When we checked in, however, we were told the wait for our table would be about 20 minutes. Instead, we waited over an hour. While waiting, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks and an appetizer. When the hostess finally came to seat us, she acknowledged how busy the restaurant had been, but there was no apology for the significant delay or any effort to make up for the inconvenience. Had we been told from the beginning that the wait would be over an hour, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay. The overcrowding was also concerning. The restaurant appeared to be admitting more people than it could comfortably accommodate, creating a chaotic atmosphere and resulting in very slow service. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for the wait. The dishes lacked flavor and seemed rushed. When we asked about the status of our food, we were essentially told that the restaurant was busy and that there was nothing that could be done. While we understand that holidays are challenging for restaurants, customers still deserve communication, empathy, and basic customer service. What disappointed us most was not the long wait itself--it was the lack of acknowledgment and concern from the staff throughout the evening. A sincere apology or some effort to address the inconvenience would have gone a long way. Sadly, this experience left a very bad impression, and we are seriously reconsidering whether we will return.
