My catalytic converter was replaced at Leon in Feb 2025 at 160,318 miles. It started to leak in April 2026 at 172,001 miles. It was still under warranty. Shippee Auto flagged the leak and said I should go back to Leon to have it replaced. Leon checked the leak on 5/15/26, confirmed it was coming from the other catalytic converter (the much less expensive one), and wrote me an estimate for work I did not need. I went back to Shippee's for something else, and they confirmed for a second time that the leak is coming from the catalytic converter Leon replaced. Anita Wilson, Consumer Protection Coordinator at the Northwestern District Attorney's Office, agreed to take the case. Ben, the owner of Leon L Sirum Co Inc, spoke to Anita on August 12th. He said he would work with me on the warranty, but I would have to find a way to get the part to him. The problem is I live 5 hours away now, and I already made the trip for him to tell me the leak wasn't in the part he replaced. Ben said the reason I have to transport the part is the negative reviews I posted about his business. He stated to Ms. Wilson that he personally looked at my vehicle and that he did not do anything wrong. If he did not do anything wrong, why would he be willing to work with me on the warranty of a part he claims he did not replace? Instead of doing the right thing, he tried to leverage the removal of my negative review to get me to transport the part to his shop. I agreed to remove the review after the issue was settled, and not before. That was not good enough for Ben. Instead, he wanted me to transport the part myself or remove the negative reviews without any guarantees that the warranty would cover the cost of the work.

Brought my truck in here for a simple routine oil change, and it turned into an ongoing masterclass…read morein predatory billing. Every single time I walked in for something basic, a parade of expensive, unneeded repairs would magically pop up--including a rear wheel bearing job that independent verification and multiple mechanics confirmed was totally unnecessary, as the minor play described is entirely normal. To make matters worse, when they did my rear axle bearings, they handed the truck back with a service park light glowing on the dash, flat-out lied to my face claiming they "didn't touch the brakes," and three days later my rear left brake started spewing fluid from a botched assembly. When I called them out on it, they had it towed back, fixed it, and then tried to stick me with the bill, claiming it couldn't possibly be their fault because they "didn't touch the brakes"--even though doing rear axle bearings absolutely requires touching the brake system and parking brake system. To top it all off, their paperwork claimed my front passenger-side inner tie rod needed immediate replacement. I brought the truck to a couple of other 11 to have it looked at, and all of them said there was no issues whatsoever--proving KG's write-up was completely fabricated. If you go here, expect simple maintenance to be inflated into a multi-thousand-dollar farce. Do yourself a favor, save your wallet, and take your business anywhere else.

If you're in the market for a new or used camper, look no further than Orchard Trailers. After…read morevisiting several other dealerships, we knew immediately that this was the place--we found exactly what we were looking for and so much more. The entire Orchard Trailers team is absolutely phenomenal. * Jake, our salesperson, was outstanding from day one. From our initial inquiry through pickup, he was never pushy--only honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly informative. When we picked up the camper, he spent over two hours carefully walking us through every nook, cranny, and option. We never once felt rushed, and no question was ever made to feel insignificant. It was clear that Jake genuinely wanted us to feel confident and fully informed before we left. * Jimmy, affectionately known as "the sticker guy" (LOL), went out of his way to help us when we asked for a new Orchard Trailer sticker. After being treated so well, we proudly wanted everyone to know where we bought our camper--and Jimmy was more than happy to make it happen. * Tom and Spencer, the techs, did an excellent job installing our hitch and even caught that it had been previously installed incorrectly. Rather than overlooking it, they took the extra time to fix it properly, ensuring everything was safe and done right. Their team of technicians went over every inch of the camper making sure any issue was handled ensuring we would be able to enjoy it worryfree. * Brian in service and parts was equally exceptional, thoughtfully answering additional questions and making sure nothing was overlooked. Even though we purchased a used camper, we were treated with the same care, respect, and attention one would expect when buying brand new. By the time we left with our 2017 Rockwood Roo 23WS, we felt less like customers and more like long time friends. As second generation buyers from Orchard Trailers, we can confidently say we will recommend them to anyone and everyone without hesitation.

I feel that I can just leave my car to John here without having to compare notes from several places. This is one of the few places that will honestly tell you that you don't need to fix something you think you needed instead of always trying to scare you into fixing things you don't actually need. At one time I brought my car in for ABS light and started by saying I might need to replace the ABS module. John didn't take advantage of this at all and completely fixed the issue by replacing two electrical cables. I only wish that they were located closer to me so that it's easier when I needed to come back a few times to debug problems. Nonetheless, I'd still spend the extra one hour round trip to drive here instead of going to the mechanics who are closer, including one that has a suspicious 5-star rating with 100+ reviews.

He was very apologetic for the misunderstanding about the quoted price and wanted to show his appreciation for our patronage. Maybe we'll give it one more shot. Here is my original review: "I have used Cichy's twice before for routine work like changing trailer tires, and my MIL used them for a muffler replacement. Both times, during the COVID pandemic. The service and cost was HORRENDOUS. In fact, it took them a month and constant prodding to get the tires done. So when my MIL needed a new gas filter I was hesitant to use Cichy's but figured I'd give him one more shot. I called ahead for an estimate, gave the car make model and year and part needed and got an approximate cost of $45-$50. My MIL was there for two hours because they didn't have the part after saying they'd order it ahead. And they charged her $108 for a 15 minute filter change. " Not sure who quoted that original price but in the end the owner gave my MIL a free repair, which was not requested, but was much appreciated.
