This was our third trip to Colorado and the best snowmobile tour we have been on yet! Joe a.k.a. Beans was a great guide from start to finish. We were picked up ahead of time at our hotel and throughout our ride to the trails he gave us great historical information about the region and little towns we passed through. Once we got on our snowmobile's he made sure that everybody felt comfortable and did not hesitate to explain if needed multiple times for some of the riders that were new. Out on the trails he did an awesome job of giving us information and allowing us time to get comfortable on the machines and provide great service of taking family pictures. This was by far the best snowmobile company and guide we have experienced in Colorado and will definitely be booking again next year and asking for Joe as our guide! Thank you for helping us make great memories!!

We did the half day with lunch snowmobile guided tour with Nathan, and it was awesome! Not only was he full of interesting information, but he took us on some really cool trails. He kept the pace appropriate for the group, while making sure everyone still had fun. My son, who is 14, was so stoked to be able to drive his own machine and now wants to work there :). We would 100% take this tour again and try the same operation in the summer for ATVs. Oh also, full bar service in the lodge and tasty lunch options were a big bonus!

My parents started going here every year, now we join them! We stay in the cabins on site, everything is always perfect! We love staying on the property, it has so much to offer. Snow Bus Tours and Snowmobiles. The lodge provides helmets, boots, etc. McAllister Grille has great food and bar. Camp Hale has an amazing history. MOST IMPORTANTLY is the owner Steve and his staff. Robin, Katrina and the entire snowmobile employees are the best. As snowstorms rolled in, Steve spent the time to help us navigate the best and safest way down the mountain to get into Denver. A+++ The Sargent's and The Chamber's families go every year!

This was a wonderful adventure. For those not skiing or snowboarding, snow mobiles were a great alternative for us to still have fun. We did the half day with lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food. We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel very promptly by a kind older gentleman that gave us lots of information about Vail, it was great. I loved that the adventure included gear and we were able to rent goggles. The tour was amazing, we went up and down so many trails, got to circle around the campground for fun, and got lots of pictures. Our guide also gave us lots of history and we loved that. It was slightly expensive, but worth every penny. Our only recommendation is to buy yourselves some hand and feet warmers because we were numb at the end haha.

We took the top of the Rockies tour and it was worth EVERY PENNY. At first we were a little skeptical on wether we wanted to take the 3 hour tour as it seemed like a long time for people who had never driven snowmobiles before. I'm SO HAPPY that we decided to go through with it though! Every minute was fun - especially our super cool tour guide Carter! This is definitely a little bit more strenuous of a tour as you go above 12,000 ft but my advice is to bring water and some snacks as there are plenty of stops to take pictures and relax. I highly recommend this tour and can't wait to go again. Side Note: if you get lucky, your tour guide will be Carter. He is awesome and has EXTENSIVE knowledge of the tour and area. Someone who seems genuinely kind inside and out and is always there to make sure everyone is safe along the way. Thanks Carter!!!

When another tour fell through, we went to Nova Guides to see what they might be able to offer. We met with Spoon who was the BEST! He got our party of 12 into 3 side by sides and stayed open longer so that we could get a 2 hour trip in. He was great to work with and the views did not disappoint. Only wish we would have started with him. What a great afternoon we had. See Spoon if you're looking for a fun afternoon outdoors.

Made a reservation to have a two person guided tour, they arranged to have a car pick us up at our hotel. When the day came to get picked up I actually had the wrong date. The lady on the phone at Nova Guides was very helpful and was able to squeeze us in last minute. When we got to the location all the staff members were very helpful and welcoming. They had all the extra gear like helmets and gloves for anyone who didn't have it. We got our safety talk outside next to our snowmobile, was very informative. After we loaded up and headed out. They supplied us with a map of the trails as well as some key spots they recommend taking photos. Would highly recommend using Nova Guides!

I cannot recommend Nova guides enough! Booking with them was one of the best decisions we could've made. Joe "Beans" took us on the most magical tour of the Rockies, took us to some killer vantage points, and sprinkled in bits of history all along the way! Thank you for kicking off our Vail trip with an experience that will stay in our memories for years to come. Highly highly recommend booking with Joe for your next tour!

Took a snowmobiling tour that was absolutely amazing. Got up to some very remote and gorgeous areas that we would not have been able to see otherwise! Nova Guides provided helmets & boots, so we were all safe & comfortable. Make sure to get a cup of hot cocoa after the trip - it was the best we ever had!

If you want some snowmobiling you can't go wrong here! We really enjoyed our guide, Joe Beans. Even though the rough trails were in no way his fault he apologized several times. We had a great time, thank you!

Unfortunately, we had made an honest mistake and accidentally booked it for the following week--when we would no longer be in town. We immediately contacted the business while we were at the location, explained the situation, and asked about a refund or reschedule. We were told we could receive a refund minus a 7.5% fee--roughly $30--for "processing." When we kindly asked for a full refund, the staff member not only refused but claimed that because she had to be on the phone and "click a button," we had now cost the business money. She stood firm that no matter the situation, a 100% refund would not be given. It's one thing to have a policy. It's another to treat a customer's good faith mistake with zero flexibility and then blame the cost of customer service on them. We didn't use any equipment, take anyone else's spot, or cancel last minute--we simply misread the date and immediately tried to make it right. $30 is a small amount, but it speaks volumes about how this company handles honest errors. We will absolutely book with another adventure company next time we're in Winter Park--one that values people over rigid policy and doesn't treat a polite refund request like an inconvenience.

Summary of…read moreour experience in late Sept 2024: We reserved a 2 person Honda Talon S2 ATV the day prior and a follow up text was provided. I let the business know we were new to the area and just wanted an easy trail to see the fall colors. I was assured that the trail recommended was a good fit and they said maps and waypoints would be provided (also stated on the website). We arrived 10 min before the appointment time (7:30 AM) and there was no one there. I texted the owner and then they sent someone who arrived just before 8:00 AM. The employee (Christian) would not provide us any maps or waypoints for the recommended trail. He said it was simple to navigate, well-marked and no maps existed. We argued about this, but he said he could do nothing. I have done many off-road trails in places like Moab, Utah and California, waypoints based on mileage or simple maps are always provided. In the end I took his word. He said it was a large loop of about 30 miles and easily done in a half day. My concerns: - The employee told us he would take 10% off for the late release at 8:20 AM and add an extra hour to the rental. I did not look closely at the receipt since we were in a rush and noticed later that we were charged full price which did not include stated discount. - The tow vehicle had an 1/8 of tank of fuel - not enough to cover the tow distance. We had to waste time to fuel it on the way to the trail head. - The ATV was not prepped for us. Dirty, dusty, muddy. - As suspected, the trail was not well marked. There were at least 4 unclear intersections with some markings (like #200, 200A) but this is meaningless without a map. I could not download a map myself the night before. One turn led us up a 3 mile dead-end spur to a radio tower. - We checked in with the person that rented the ATV to us, showed him our location on GPS and he said we were fine. - A few miles later, we ended up at a dead end at a fire road about 20 miles from start. The employee told us we were in the wrong place and told us to back track all the way back (vs. an intended loop). - We missed our return time but were not charged extra. The ATV was mechanically good, high quality and newer but clearly not prepped for a new customer. We saw amazing fall colors. The duration of trip was longer than we expected and had to rush the return since an expected loop turned into an out-and-back. We didn't feel heard when dealing with the employee. He also did not honor the discount and said to call the owner about the fuel cost and concerns. Two email attempts were made to the owner (Carlos), and he never responded. Their service did match their website or phone conversations. I find it nuts that they will send a visitor into the back country without maps and make you feel stupid by claiming 'it is easy' and 'super well marked.' These areas have limited cell coverage, and you will be on your own if you get lost or have a mechanical issue. I would not use their services again - horrible customer service.

You fill out the wavier paperwork, get a speech from one of the workers, and go through the line to your life jacket and paddle. They also have shoes for rent if you need them. The bus ride to the launch point is about 30 minutes. The staff do their best to keep everyone entertained while your on the bus; telling jokes, telling you facts about landmarks, and the local area. When you get to the launch point it's about another 15 minutes before you get on your raft. They go through another 5-7 minute speech about the water, how to maneuver, and all the safety stuff (just in case crap goes wrong). Then they split you up into groups and you load the raft. We truly had a blast on the raft and I never felt like I was at risk of injury, or unsafe through the entire ride. From start to finish it was about a 2 hour trip; but it went by really fast. I could have rode the river for at least another 1-2 hours. It was super chill and some of the rough waters (class II and III) didn't last long but made the ride very exciting. We did stop for about 30 minutes at a point where you can jump off a cliff. There is a 25 foot cliff as well as a small jump spot for kids (my 4 year old jumped from the small spot). I did go up to the 25 foot jump (along with about 30 other people). Jumping was not a problem at all because you walk up to the edge and simply walk off for the jump. They don't give you anytime to look around, think, or get scared. 30 people jumped off in less than 7-8 minutes. It felt great!! The ride back to the main store was much shorter; about 15 minutes. Overall we had a great time and it was well worth it.
