My daughter and I chose this place for snowmobiling on our trip. We had a great time on the trails but when we returned the staff said my vehicle was damaged and unsafe to use. They let me ride this snowmobile while it was unsafe and didn't inform me. The owner, Steve, yelled at my daughter in front of everyone, wanting to settle it calmly, he raised his voice and questioned my parenting skills. He is very unprofessional and cares about the money more than the guests. Should have checked the reviews first- not the first one to be scammed from this business! read more

WORTH EVERY PENNY! Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Equipment was in excellent working order and they gave nice goggles, helmets and even some nice rain gear which my husband and I were especially glad we had. Three years ago we took the ATV guided tour which was very nice. Excellent for those who are newer to using ATVS and those who want to learn some very interesting facts about the area and landmarks. Great guided group tour. Today we just rented Rzr 2 seaters and decided to do the half day self guided package. This time we got maps and the trails were pretty easy to navigate but also challenging and fun to ride around all by ourselves. Very exciting !!! The guides let us know safe areas to explore and those areas to avoid and maps were clear and easy to read. Four hours was more than enough time to explore all trails at a comfortable clip. This was one of my favorite activities to do near Aspen and Breck. We will be back. read more

This was the best experience! The employees and guides were so nice and professional. But also very down to earth and funny! We had Spoon as our tour guide and he was GREAT. Shortly after leaving we realized my 15 yr old daughter was NOT comfortable with driving a snowmobile alone. Spoon was so understanding and helpful to get my family of 5 situated and comfortable for the remainder of the trip!! The place itself is so warm and cozy. They have a few sweet dogs wondering around making new "friends" and the food was great!!! They also took pictures which we were able to purchase for keep sake memories! All in all. An AMAZING experience! read more

Get your ass out here for the snowmobile trip! Super fun and had a great time. Our guide was hella chill and on point. Freaking great guy. The cabin is awesome and decked out with trophy kills from the owner. He also is a great guy. I loved the snowmobiling and also just talking about bull elk, mtn lions, toms and golf. Get out and live a little, hit up Nova guides for a great time! read more

We were recommended this outfitter by our concierge at the Lodge at Vail. The outfitter picked us up and took us too the snowmobiling center. They provided everything you needed including: boots, snowsuits, goggles, and helmets. They give a thorough instructional guide for all of us driving the snowmobiles. Our guide was competent and let us stop for pictures and snow play time. read more

Our group of 7 rented 5 ATV's and 1 side-by-side for a 3 hour tour. We were fitted with helmets and goggles and given a safety briefing and we were on our way. We had so much fun on the self guided trails. The map was self explanatory and not difficult to follow. We did get some rain which made it cold but we just put on the rain gear provided by Nova for a few extra dollars and went up the mountain anyway. So much fun was had by all! The staff at Nova Guides was knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. The country side and trails were beautiful and we took some great pictures along the way. A little mud never hurt anybody! Awesome fun and would highly recommend to anyone looking for adventure. Only about a 30-40 minute drive from Vail! read more

My boyfriend and I just finished up on our half day snowmobile tour and it was AWESOME! Adam, was our tour guide and he was great, super friendly, professional and all around a good tour guide. Temperatures were pretty cold which made us a little nervous but Adam was very aware of the conditions and offer to help with additional layers if needed (we ended up being fine). If you're thinking of scheduling a tour, do it, you wouldn't be disappointed. read more

My dad and I booked the "high performance" tour on March 5th. We had been snowmobiling once before in Jackson Hole. This trip with Nova Guides blew it away. The entire experience was first rate from start to finish. The lodge is very nice. The check in process was smooth and the scenary was incredible. Our guide Mike Bradley was extremely nice, knowledgable about the terrain, and genuinely interested in showing us the best time possible. He made the experience A++++. To give you an idea of what a "full day tour" really is-- We were out from about 9am-5pm with a short break for lunch. We covered over 100 miles of terrain. The high performance tour with Nova is a must do in Vail and worth every penny. read more

Snow mobiling at 12k with a spectacular guide company!!! @novaguides - it can't get better than this for a first time experience. They have set the bar really high!! the lodge was beautiful, the staff amazing and very experienced, the trail was awesome and beautiful, our guide Derek was great in explaining how to operate the snow mobile and ensuring our safety. He also made sure we were comfortable, warm and enjoying the experience throughout the entire trip. Our tour included snowmobiling through Camp Hail 10th Mountain Division and our guide shared a lot about the history of the "ski soldiers" and infrastructure of the camp. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be going back again very soon!! Oh - and the burger was awesome!!! They have amazing food there!! read more

What do you want when you schedule a whitewater rafting trip? Good value, a great time, friendly and knowledgeable guides, and safety. This place has it all. Yet, they give you enough leeway so you don't feel babied. Our group did the lower Eagle river (class 2/3 intermediate) and we had a blast. They picked us up on time, we arrived the river on time, spent 20 mins or so going over safety (quite interesting and I learned a few things) and then hit the river for an hour and a half. When we arrived our destination, the vans were waiting and there was plenty of staff to expedite everything. I will return and use this company again. The only negative is their photography partner, White Water Pix. Major rip off. They want like $30 for a single digital photo. So bring a waterproof camera (make sure you can attach it to your gear) and take your own photos. read more

Reviewing summertime ATV rentals: Our party of 8 ranging in age from 13 to 70 rented ATVs and SBSs (side-by-sides) for a couple of hours and had an awesome time. The equipment worked beautifully and the property was fun to explore. Nova gets the 5 stars for customer service. We went there with the intention of renting 4 ATVs but when some in our party saw the SBSs, we waffled back and forth about how many to get of each kind. Erica waited patiently for us to make up our minds, which took some time. They pulled out the vehicles we requested and then we changed again! Basically, we were a customer service nightmare. But Luke and Erica were SO nice about it, we actually were able to convince ourselves that they didn't mind. Thanks for a great afternoon! read more

As I did my research before arriving at Beaver Creek, Nova Guides was suggested as our outfitter for snowmobiling. Upon arriving at the Christie Lodge, their concierge also recommended it and I knew that was who we were going to go through. We opted for their early bird ride and Anna, our wonderful guide, picked us up from the resort and drove us to their Tigiwon headquarters. This location would take us on a tour of the Rockies through the White River National Forest. My husband and I decided to ride together on a 2 person while the other 2 in our group chose to ride their own. We headed up, stopped for fun in the deep snow and picture opportunities as well as stopping at their hut for a warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. This by far was one of the best experiences I have ever had all around. Their customer service is top notch and they truly make it an experience that you won't forget! read more

I am reluctant to give five stars but this place totally deserves it. Customer service reigns supreme. They know how to take care of guests! My wife and I (60+) decided to take a cat tour partly because we didn't want to be outside and secondly because my wife had a brace on her knee due to a ski injury. What a blast. We rode the cat all around the valley then up the mountain side to a stunning overlook of the whole area. We totally enjoyed the ride and our tour guide. The lodge is a very large and spacious place with a good selection of salads, drinks, and bar fare. It's not great but it's part of the deal. Check out the stuffed animals. Although we did not do the snow mobile tour it does look like a ton of fun. read more

Our first time snowmobiling and this was fantastic! We were picked up on time from our hotel in Vail. We took the twilight tour from 3pm to 7 p.m. and it was very beautiful. Our guide Lucas made sure we understood how to be safe and have a good time. The boots, helmets, jumpsuits and snow mobiles were all good clean equipment. We rented a double. Hot chocolate and cookie mid way through were a welcome break. This is guided through a national park and use of park restrooms were a nice option too. Worth every penny, we will definitely do again! read more

Rad ! Bob the guide took us on an epic snow mobile adventure this last weekend . Had a great time mobbing up the trails . While half the group was more skilled , the guide was considerate of the slower riders and always made sure everyone was okay and having a good time . All the staff was helpful and friendly , even the girl Erin on the phone ~ answered all the questions we had . Highly recommend ! Will be coming back for sure :) A read more

I don't often give a business 5 stars but Nova Guides gets it from us. We did two tours with Stan and couldn't be happier! My husband and I used Nova Guides two years ago, so we used them again. Thanks to John for helping us get everything scheduled! We did the Top of the Rockies full day tour with a group of 12 friends. Some of us have experience on snowmobiles, others in the group have never been on a snowmobile, but all of us had a really great day and a great experience. The ragin' Cajun took the time to help everyone improve their riding and confidence. The views for the top of the mountain and cruising through an aspen grove made for great memories. Lunch was tasty and pleased the meat eaters and vegetarians. The staff was nice and made sure everyone was happy. Three of us also got to come back and do the High Performance half day tour, again with Stan. WHAT A DAY! We zipped around under bluebird skies learning new skills and zipping in the deep snow. When I wasn't laughing out loud, I was feeling pretty badazz...not something this 50 year old girl feels very often. We don't get to be on snowmobiles often because we live in Southern CA, but as this chick can attest, anyone can have fun on snowmobiles when you are taught to ride with confidence and safety. Thanks again, The Stan Fans! read more

Went there in the summer for a white water rafting excursion. Our guide was "tall Paul" and our driver was Pete. Both of them were FANTASTIC and their excursions are highly recommended! My dad and brother also did a snow mobile trip with Paul in the winter and raved about it. Paul is very energetic and charismatic and had a lot of great stories. Pete was incredibly knowledgable, and gave us so much interesting information on our ride out there. I definitely recommend using nova guides and HIGHLY recommend asking for Pete and Paul! read more

Fabulous views. The staff was professional and exhibited a high level of customer service. The views were unbelievable. Our Guide was Maggi. We had total faith in her. She kept us safe and checked on our comfort regularly. My head got cold under the helmet almost ruining my experience. Maggi saw this and gave me one of her head socks. On the drive home, she provided us with fun, laughter and a great locals reference on fabulous eateries as well as places to avoid in the area. The office and chalet were five star! The fireplace and resident canines greeted us happily on our return from the top of the world. Tip- Bring a head sock. read more

Awesome place for ski doo rentals! Husband and I rented from them, no tour guide necessary. We did the four hour tour, plenty of scenic Mountain View's to see in four hours. I forgot my iPhone camera lens in their snow suite that I rented, came back after closing hours and were kind enough to help find my lens. That meant a lot to me, I was so worried. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be renting from them again, the staff are super friendly. read more

Booked a snowmobiling tour with them. Our son broke his wrist the day before skiing. I called to ask for a credit (not for a refund because we were inside the cancellation window). I was just asking them to please give us a credit to use at a later date. They refused to refund or give us a credit. They got a free $1,000 from us, and that's because we purchased the insurance also. They lack compassion and understanding. Will never use them again. read more

Nova Guides snow mobile tour was so much fun! Our guide was Dave and he was great! We went in the morning 9am tour, and I would recommend the morning tour. It was only my husband and I, and one other couple. It's far more intimate so we got to have some extra time in the snow. I would highly recommend them. I plan on going again if we make it back to Vail. Highlight of our Vail trip! read more

We thought our guide Pete was great- on time, knowledgeable, and very pleasant! However, we weren't asked what kind of ride we wanted or what we wanted to see, which is how it was explained when we called to make reservations. The highlight was hiking a short distance to a waterfall, but otherwise we didn't really see anything that you can't see from highways/roads, even though we went up quite a bumpy trail. Expected more views or scenery- thought the price was a bit steep for what we received, but still enjoyed the experience. read more

MAKE SURE TO GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH THE PRICE YOU WERE QUOTED!! I called to book our reservation and was quoted $264 for 4 hours, 3 people on a 4 seater side-by-side. However, due to not receiving the confirmation email.. we ended up having to eat the additional $200 cost. read more
