At the top of the Great Divide overlooking the beauty of a Colorado winter.

Elroy was the best tour guide I loved him, he was excellent customer service on the phone. I was visiting as a non-skier with my bf's ski club and i was set on a snow mobile adventure. On the phone Elroy was patient, i asked tons of questions and called him back once again before i booked online. There is no mobile service at the base (on top of the mountain, yes i was texting everyone haha) so you have to arrange for your own transportation. I got a GREAT driver from a list they recommended. The driver picked me up from my resort, and was there once i finished my snowmobile tour. I was in a small group of 4 on a Thursday. They told us weekends are usually slammed, I liked the small group experience. They provide warmth appropriate suits boots and helmets if you want or not. We received an overview of the vehicle, and did quick practice run in a circle field before setting out on the trails. When we got to the top of where they take you, Elroy was awesome and took pics w our phones. I saw that they rented go-pros, which I will bring one the next time. It was pricey but definitely worth all that I needed to have a great snow mobile experience. They also have dog sledding which looked popular. A very good Snowmobile fix, for sure.

Our hardworking team leaders...Valkerie and Bo. Friendly Bo is up for adoption this spring!

This was a highlight of our "ski" trip to CO, my daughters (ages 11 & 17) and I loved the experience! Wonderful staff - shout out to Josh for going out of his way to help us all get on the same sled even when originally we would have had to be split based on reservations. RESERVE EARLY! The guide who lead our team was also fantastic / engaging and knowledgeable and very patient!! I think his name was Baker. Dogs were well taken care of and loved what they do - these are working dogs and there is something amazing about seeing working dogs doing what is deeply imbedded in their genetics to do. Everyone got to learn how to drive the dogs and it is work - this is a sport, as we were reminded! But very manageable and so fun. Friendly dogs and the retired ones go up for adoption. I used to work in animal sheltering and am sensitive to this, and really appreciate how much the staff love their dogs and want wants best for them when their working years are over. A lot of transparency in the whole operation. Expensive, but unique experience well worth participating in.

Greatest experience ever! This is a beautiful location with awesome guides and the best pups on the planet. We have been going every year because we love it so much. If there was a way to go on a longer ride we would for sure!!

Took a group of my high school aged girl scouts up here for some dog sledding! This was the first time for most of them. Good time adventures is a little outside of frisco. We booked in advance and it was very easy. If you have a date in mind i would book a date and time in advance. 6 can go in each group and they do take out multiple groups at each time slot. When you book online you will select your "spots" on the group/sled. You are then paid, confirmed and good to go! When you book your time, keep in mind that you will need to plan on arriving 30 minutes early. You will need to fill out a waiver and there can be kind of a line. They will let you borrow a heavy warm suit and boots if you need them. It is complimentary. However they will ask you to dress as if you were going skiing and also to bring goggles. After you fill out your waiver they will ask you to go past the front desk area and there are some benches in the back room that you can get ready at. There are a few bathrooms in the buiding. Be prepared though, the line can be long! When its your time, they will tell you to head out back. At first they will have you do a picture of your group with the lead dogs. If you want to get a copy of that picture, it will cost an additional $40. After that, They will put you with your guide and they will do an intro talk. You will get to meet the dogs on your sled and the guide will tell you how to do what you need to, to go on your adventure! The girls had so much fun on their adventure. They were out for around 80 minutes on their ride. Their guide was fantastic! I think his name was caleb. Each person got a turn driving, sitting in the princess seat and then riding along side. Please do plan on bringing a little cash or having some money in your venmo to tip your guide. This is a service and that is a part of how they earn their money. The dogs are very well cared for and loved. This is definitely a great organization to support!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! Friendly workers and beautiful dogs! Had such a blast dog-sledding. Definitely check this out, you won't regret it.

Snowmobiles

This place is fantastic!!! Very well run and organized. The snowmobile guided tour to the top of the Continental Divide was incredible. I also did the dog sledding and it was a blast! My son is autistic and the instructor was very understanding and ensured he was safe and had a great time! Coming back next year!!!

Loved our trip! My husband and I are from Tennessee and so obviously we have never snowmobiled before, but our tour guide, Wyatt, explained how to use them so well and it was so easy! The path is definitely first timer friendly with light turns and paths where you can go up to 50-70 kph (but you don't have to go that fast if you don't want to). Wyatt was very friendly and had energy and even gave some quick history facts (but not too much where you're bored). Never worried about tipping or getting thrown off. For the 2025 season they have brand new snowmobiles that have heated handles and if you're a passenger, there is a backrest! The helmets were comfy and the snow suits they gave us were warm and not ugly (being from TN we obviously do not own snowsuits but you can wear your own!) and the views!!!! the path leading up the mountain is gorgeous with pine trees lining it and once you get to the top, absolutely breathtaking, my TN eyes were opened today because of how beautiful it was! Will definitely come back when we move out West!

This is top of the best experiences ever! The staff were terrific and the dogs absolutely enjoyed this! Will definitely do again!

My mom and I decided to mush with the dogs while in town recently and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was awesome, the dogs were full of personality and spunk, and the place seems to be a well oiled machine. Before we started, we got photos taken with the dogs, and the guide introduced us to all of them and explained our roles. We were paired with a family of four and we all switched roles. Afterwards, we purchased a picture and thawed out by the fire and drank hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend this.

Snowmobiling in Summit county on 2020 ski doo 600 mobiles. A ride in backcountry I'll never forget. They have gear if needed

Thrill-seeker seeking an adventure?  You have come to the right place! Good times adventures located in high country offers snowmobiling and dog sled riding with Alaskan huskies (where you also have the opportunity to be a musher). I went with snowmobiling. I like rock climbing, sewing, and baking; I am by no means your average snowmobiler. However, last winter I jumped with both feet in. Here's how that adventure went: I was unsure how the snow would affect my drive and day of winter activities so I took a chance by simply driving there without a reservation. I know what you are thinking, but hear me out. Party of one, so I was likely to get a spot at some point and if nothing else a nice scenic drive. I was also open to whichever way the wind blew me. Thankfully no road closers due to heavy snow; I arrived super early, just before opening, to ensure I would get a spot. When they opened they had a few open spots so it worked out. Friendly vibes all around. I paid, used the restroom, geared up, and was ready to go sledding. We all hopped on our 2020 ski doo mobiles that were light and easy to maneuver (I believe they already have the 2021 version); I was excited for the adventure that was ahead. I had my weather resistant balaclava to keep my head warm underneath my helmet. It was a group of about seven riders, but some were on double mobiles. They have an emergency magnet and the handles had a hand warming capability which was a nice touch. The ground was completely covered in snow and other parts dusted the ground like sugar. The snow was more beautiful than a gorgeous man or woman. Our guide he was super awesome! Ready--lets VROOM! Incredibly expansive rideable terrain, unparalleled views, and well-groomed trails in Summit County. Normal mountain obstacles such as rocks and trees; these machines can virtually go anywhere. The snow covered trees throughout the trail were magical and the feeling of riding a snowmobile on bottomless powder is insanely awesome. There was even a descending deep slope we were told we would experience. Imagine, for a moment, you are on a snowmobile and you are on a slope that drops and the feeling of your stomach dropping with it. Yes it was one of those feelings and I did it. Nevertheless, As told by a city girl--snowmobiling in the Rockies is an endless playground for snowmobilers of all abilities. This was definitely a highlight during my vacation and a trip in backcountry I will never forget. Be sure to tip your guide well. Kindness is currency as it keeps people coming back. I came, I saw, and now I know why they call themselves "Good Times"! Cheers to creating new memories, new experiences, and to Good Times! PreCOVID "Kindness is like snow, It beautifies everything it touches!" TIPS: They provide weather resistant gear, if needed at no extra cost Call ahead to check weather conditions Sign waiver Credit card held for incidentals 2 hour ride with a break They start on time Sunglasses or goggles Tip guide

More like GREAT Times Adventures! My husband and I booked a morning dogsled ride and an afternoon snowmobile tour for a fun-filled day! PLANNING When planning our ski trip, we wanted to book some non-ski activities for the first few days as we get acclimated to the altitude. Good Times Adventures is a little pricier than similar companies in the area ($140pp for dog sledding; $200 for snowmobile drivers and $50 for passengers), but we were swayed by the positive reviews and the ease of booking. We were able to call and make our reservations about 2 weeks before our trip. They only take reservations a few weeks at a time, so make sure to check their website and plan ahead! DOG SLEDDING This was so incredibly fun! Our guide Hailey was awesome! She introduced us to our team of Siberian huskies, gave some tips and tricks for mushing, and then we were off! The dogs were so pumped and were very good boys and girls throughout our whole ride! There were three groups of two in our tour, and we got to switch off mushing/sitting in the dog sled and riding in a separate sled pulled by a snowmobile. The dogs run for about 6 minutes at a time so they have time to cool off and get all our love and pets. Hailey made sure everyone got a few turns to mush, including the younger mushers on the tour who got to take the easier legs of our journey. It was so fun to interact with the dogs and learn about the art of dog sledding! SNOWMOBILING Driving a snowmobile was much faster than the dog sled! My husband and I opted for one driver and one passenger, rather than two separate snowmobiles so I could relax and take in the views while he did most of the driving. Our guide Craig gave a quick overview of the snowmobiles (which they get brand new each season), safety tips, and took us to the practice area for about 5 minutes before we hit the trails. There were a few stops along the ride, but the main attraction was the Georgia Pass. Breath-taking views on the continental divide. Craig helped us take some photos before we headed back to base. I highly recommend checking out Good Times Adventures!

I looked all over for unique adventures to do well here in Breckenridge. I ended up choosing the good times aventures to go snowmobiling and dog sledding on different days and was not disappointed. I ended up doing business ventures in the morning which I think is the way to do it as he end up finishing around 11 and you have the rest of the day to do other adventures. I cannot stress enough that both of these experiences went above and beyond my expectations. The dog sledding was phenomenal on the dogs are very very friendly and you are more than encouraged to a pet and show them love throughout this whole experience. the crew is very personable and friendly learning. Do you know everyone's names right off the bat which makes them feel like part of your group almost immediately. You take turns being on the sled with one other person, and the guide leads with a snowmobile and a sleigh in pool with the other four people in your group. You alternate every so often. And you were very thankful for the alterations as running and being on the sled is very exhausting at altitude but oh so much fun. Since I went with a group of very competitive dudes, the instructor found a very challenging and quick turn that we all took turns attempting to make and fell/crash in fun, spectacular fashion. There's no, of course, being very fluffy, made it. There was no uncomfortable landings. The snowmobiling, which we did the second day I thought could not match the fun and experience we had with the dog sledding, but it was also entertaining and it's on right. I was a great way to explore the mountains and they take you up to the top of one of the peaks, which has a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain side. They have different packages of types of ride and we did the most basic one which was the cheapest. Are they driving around is mostly follow the Leader style so you're not zipping around through the open terrain. I do have options for this if your pocketbook allows, however, we had fun just doing the style of ride that we did have that I had to choose between the two. I definitely would do the dog sledding, but the snowmobiling also was a wonderful way to do this. Highly recommend going to this very large facility that provides both of these wonderful activities if you need to pay a company to pry this experience.

Tour definitely worth it. We booked the snowmobiling tour and had a blast! Our guide was Gerad and made the best of our time on the snowmobile. The views from the top are spectacular! Gerad was able to make stops so we can switch drivers.
