I've gone back and forth over whether or not to give this place a try as I was afraid it would be overhyped, and overpriced. I was near one today and decided to try the Biscoff cookie butter cake and it may just be the best thing I've ever eaten. Thank God this place is 20 minutes away and not closer because I would be here every day. Not to mention the woman behind the counter was so friendly and kind. I have no choice but to stop in any time I'm near one now.

Who doesn't love cake? I've had Nothing Bundt Cake before, but today was my first time stopping in this store. The problem is there are so many delicious choices, it's hard to decide. I bought a White Chocolate Raspberry for myself and a Red Velvet for my wife. We both loved them! The store is right on Bloomfield Ave. in West Caldwell. Very easy to get to and a big parking lot. Friendly service too. I'll definitely be back to try another one of those cakes!

Nothings Bundt Cakes is a very yummy concept! 3/8/23: Wednesday AM visit! The owner gave me lots of information. This West Caldwell location has been opened for approximately one year. The shop carries a variety of Bundt cake sizes: 1. Regular- 8" serves approx. 8 & 10" serves approx. 18. 2. Tiered Bundt Cake- 8 inch over a 10 inch Bundt serves approx.26 3. Bundlets- Individual & Bundlet Bundle (dozen) 4. Bundtinis- sold by the dozen. Flavors include: Red Velvet, chocolate, chocolate, chip, white, chocolate, raspberry, lemon, strawberries and cream, snickerdoodle, confetti, carrot, and classic vanilla . While in in the shop, I purchased an individual (personal) size lemon bundlet $6,00. The cake was very moist. The lemon flavor was light and heavenly! I'm not a big fan of frosting. However, the Signature cream cheese frosting with butter is perfection. It's has the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. Hope the shop starts offering samples. Samples always tempt me into buying more! : D Besides Bundt cakes, the shop carries cute gifts like mugs, plates, water containers.... An E club is available. Nothing Bundt Cakes offers online ordering (NothingBundtCakes.com) and delivery! Shop is open Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Nothing Bundt Cakes is located in a strip mall with a large parking lot. Planning to return very soon!

Yes! Yes! yes! Let's talk about this beautiful addition to best Caldwell. Staff When you walk in you are immediately welcomed by the person behind the desk. They are so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The talk to you about what they offer and are not pushy at all. They allow you to take you time and look around. The store It's nice and clean and so bright. You can smell the baking as soon as you walk in the store. Everyone was wearing a mask. Flavor The offer at least 8 different flavors and three different sizes. Today, I had the pecan praline and let me tell you it was perfect. You can also do a build you own by the dozen minis for about $23.00. Today I got to meet Jim the owner. He was really nice and present a warm welcome to his eatablishment. If you have not been here, fo yourself the favor and come on down!

I have officially found my new thing I will be bringing with me every time I have a function. These cakes are incredible and I love how they have all different sizes. I got a few small ones for myself but I've also brought a nice big one I ordered online to a retirement party and everyone loved it. These not only look good but taste great too! A great addition to the area and the store is so cute. Definitely a little pricy for some of the bigger ones but I think they're so worth it if you're serving a group or going to someone's house

Upon entrance, we were pretty surprised by the lovely Valentine's Day decor for the pop up restaurant. It was a set menu for $70 that included starts with a glass of champagne, appetizer, entrée and dessert. We ordered the seafood salad, calamari, lamb chops, filet mignon, chocolate moose and red velvet cake. Everything was super delicious and very fresh tasting, We had bread brought to our table with olive oil.

ONE STAR -- Heartbreaking Disaster for Our Twin Daughter's First Birthday…read more I am absolutely shocked and heartbroken by the way Calandra's Bakery handled our daughters' first birthday cake. We paid $400 for a custom cake -- and even had to supply our own candy hearts -- and the entire bottom tier collapsed. The cake was constructed incorrectly, the dowels were tilted, and it was sliding off the base. This was not our fault -- this was baker incompetence. The baker was Alida. When we called to report the disaster, the manager Tony was rude, dismissive, and nasty. Instead of helping us salvage the cake, he blamed us, said we should have paid extra for delivery, and then had the nerve to tell us we should drive 35 minutes away, wait 30 minutes while he "fixed" it, and drive 35 minutes back -- all while our twins party was happening. Absolutely unbelievable. After threatening a fraud dispute, Tony finally sent a replacement cake -- which was just a plain white cake with basic piping, looked nothing like what we ordered, and: * Arrived late (promised 2:20, showed up at 2:55) * Our event ended at 3 * Was stale, ugly, and poorly decorated * Had gray piping, not the promised rainbow design When we tried to get an ETA for the replacement cake, Tony did not answer any of our phone calls. When it finally arrived, his attitude was the same -- dismissive and rude -- telling us to "be patient" while the delivery men shrugged at the ruined original cake and tossed it aside. No apology. No compensation. When we asked for compensation, Tony yelled and blamed us, despite the cake being a complete failure due to their mistakes. We were celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for our daughters, and Calandra's Bakery ruined it entirely. For $400, you expect care, professionalism, and a beautiful cake -- we got disrespect, incompetence, and heartbreak instead. Do not trust Calandra's Bakery with anything that matters.

Want French bread? Check. Croissants? Check. Mouthwatering Italian desserts at the most affordable prices? Double check. The place is immaculate and the smell of freshly baked scrumptious delights are sure to make you smile and feel as if you're in heaven. Here's what was purchased: - 3" Cheesecake - 4/5 stars. Smaller version of a NY Cheesecake but tastes lighter. - Tiramisu cake - 4.5/5 stars. Very tasty and light. Her cousin, Tiramisu in a cup stole the show, though. 5/5 if I hadn't had her cousin. - Tiramisu cup - 5/5 stars. You are treated to a masterpiece. The mascarpone, the shot of coffee, the sweetness of the creame all play exquisitely well together. - Fruit Tart - 4/5 stars. Fresh berries were ripe and sweet. The crust was not soggy, at all. The custard was smooth and exceptional. - Creme Brulee - 4.5/5 stars. Not overly sweet and pure bliss. The top lager of touched crust, didn't hold up to the travel, sadly. It was soft but still delightful. - Custard cup - 4.5/5 stars. This reminded me of a Portuguese egg tart but better. - Giant horn - 5/5 stars. The outside crust was flaky and perfect. The inside filling was the perfect balance as it was silky smooth and delightful. Not overly sweet which pairs perfectly with coffee or tea. Stop reading this review and go get your edible delights.

They brought with them the best of mostly southern Italian and Sicilian pastries, cakes, and cookies. These delicacies all share a mixed past, some equally as French as they are Italian, and others showing Arabic-Sicilian influence. Many of the items continue to be made in the Italian tradition, while others have morphed into something uniquely Italian-American. Located off 46 East in Fairfield, this family-owned and operated establishment, founded in 1962, is one of our favorites for sweet desserts and Italian pastries. Upon arriving on this Christmas Day at Calandra's Italian and French Bakery, a steady stream of patrons entered its door to an interior space big and nicely designed, awaiting their turns on several available lines. On display in their numerous cases, there were cookies to cannolis, an assortment of cookies, pies, cakes, custom cakes, jarred sauces, and homemade pasta. I decided on a coconut custard pie, a pecan pie, and several pasteis de nata. Everything was so good and simply amazing, with a variety of freshly baked goods that cater to all tastes, especially the pasteis, just how the bakeries in Newark's Ironbound district make them. Will definitely be returning here for the next event.

So now that this one is open, I thought the big new ShopRite would bring forward the best parts that Parsippany features. Things I like: Much more expansive and well lit. Aisles are longer and better organized. Things I dislike: Still not nearly as well organized as Parsippany. Those new digital price tags that are hard to read. The parking lot is laid out perpendicular to the building instead of parallel, so you have to commit to a row and you can easily get stuck there as people pull in and out. Yeah, Caldwell is still crowded after the expansion, whereas Parsippany spreads out very nicely. Fun closing fact: Went to leave last night and the traffic light never changed. The car in front of me gave up after a couple of minutes and went to the other driveway. I just made a right turn and U-turned. Something went bad on Essex County's side, I'm absolutely not holding that one against the supermarket. But it sealed the deal for me. The verdict: Continue west to the Parsippany location.
