I went inside to place a $60 order for pick up the next day & was told they don't take cash. Then after that I was told by another employee they do take cash but not my $100 bill. They advised me that there is an ATM machine I could use or go get change from another business. They even have the counterfeit bill checker but they said it doesn't work very well. Just left this location angry. There are 2 registers being used, one man and one woman. I waited patiently behind 3-4 customers. After around 10 minutes I'm the last in line until a middle aged man walks in behind me. The male cashier finished up with his customer and as I walked towards him (I am next in line) the man that just walked in cuts me off and walks right up to the cashier. The cashier looks at me and then says to the man "Hi, what can I get started for you sir?" As if he didn't just see me waiting there for the last 10 minutes and chose to help the man that just walked in. I was visibly irritated but luckily the next cashier opened up a minute or so later. I had a pick up order placed and asked if I could separately add a bundlet on since my order was paid for online. She went to grab my pick up order and after she walked away another older woman walked up to the register and asked if I had been helped. I told her the other woman was grabbing my order and then she asked me to step aside so she could help someone else. The lady helping me returned with my order and said nothing about my additional bundlet I added on and walked away. I was honestly shocked at how poor the service was and how I was treated. Needless to say, terrible experience and won't be returning to this location. read more

A cake store and more! I recently bought two Triple Tower of Bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes. for two friends who had birthdays on the same day. Went to Friend #1's house. She loved it. But... You'd think she'd offer to share, right? Nope! Kept them all to herself. Hmmm. Okay, off to Friend #2's house. Same scenario!! She wouldn't share her Bundt cakes! I think the staff should put a note with each cake or bundtini that it's polite to share. There was simply nothing to do but go buy some more for myself! Seriously, this tiny store on the corner of 59 Ave and Bell in Glendale is a hidden treasure. The staff are as nice as the cakes are good. When you walk in to the charming counter area, everyone greets you and then you notice the amazing aromas coming from behind the counter. I mean, there's so many delicious flavors! They come in several flavors including carrot, vanilla, chocolate chip cookie, lemon, strawberries & cream, confetti, red velvet, snickerdoodle, lemon raspberry, and white chocolate raspberry. A couple of their flavors have gluten free versions. The buntd cakes come in 8" and 10" versions. Or if you're looking to just get something for yourself, a bundtlet is perfect and it's what I got. It cost me $6.25 for a white chocolate raspberry. I really loved their signature cream cheese frosting. For a dessert, it was well priced and this place is definitely worth trying if you've got a sweet tooth. The lady employee or "Karen" at this location asked for ID and she refused to give her what was offered on the email. Her mother got off and showed her ID and still the lady gave her a hard time.. my sister just left. This company or this specific person is the issue to why we won't be returning! Stopped in here to get my birthday bundtlet and I'm so glad they had the gluten free one available for me! My mom got me an entire 12 pack of the gf chocolate chip cupcakes last year for my birthday so I had to get in on all the fun this year as well! It can be hard to find good gf desserts but this one passes the bar. I also purchased 2 for my Nana since she had never tried. She got chocolate chocolate chip (regular not gf) and carrot. I just picked up two tiered cakes for my daughter's birthday party and had the worst experience with a woman in the bakery. I had an email for a free bundlet for my birthday that I want allowed to order ahead of time and that I was told I had to present the email in person while ordering it. So, I asked her for my bundlet and showed her my email and she asked for my ID. And yes, the email said I needed to show ID, but my husband wound up driving us around on our errands today and so I didn't have my ID on me. Anyway, I explained the situation when she asked for my ID and she asked to look on my app. Then she saw my birthday was listed as January and told me my email was out of date. I JUST GOT IT on SUNDAY! I explained that when I first signed up I signed up to get my bundtlet in March so I could get it a few months away from my birthday instead of when I get all my other free stuff I signed up for during my actual birthday month. Anyway, she told me my daughter would have to come with me the and present her ID... she's NINE!?! WTH!? I told her forget it and just to give me my cakes I had ordered and she continued to go on and on about how I need to present ID, & the person who it's for needs to be present. Lord help me. I had asked her for my cake and she just kept going on and on. Finally I had to tell her that I wasn't going to argue with her and that I needed to take my cakes and go. Worst experience. We give this bakery so much business. We are a family of 6 and come here for cakes 6x per year. That won't be happening anymore. I have to say that I'm very disappointed in Nothing Bundt Cakes at 59th and Bell Rd. My wife's birthday was yesterday and we were out driving around and I suggested that we stop by this NBC store for her free birthday cake. So, she came out of the store empty-handed and apparently the cashier told her that she didn't have the 'email' she needed and turned her away. I told her, before she went it, that the last time I went in they only asked for my driver's license. I guess I would've expected a better level of customer service. If she needed to register in order to get this on her birthday(that she was unaware of) they could've said 'we'll give it to this time but to please register'. So, she got turned away and will probably not go back. There are plenty of other places to patronize. So, for the cost of free cupcake they probably lost a few hundred $$ of future sales. read more

I stumbled across this place when stopping at the Starbucks next door. I placed my mobile order and popped in to check it out while waiting. It happened to be my mom's birthday and what a find!! Beautiful little boutique of dishes, and whatnots for entertaining, and of course there were the cakes. Different sizes and flavors made it easy to find something fitting for my mom. Iced to order and I paid a smidge extra for the wrapping, flower and notecard. I don't recall exactly what I paid but it was well under $10 and worth more. The service was excellent and sweet ladies. There was a mistake but quickly corrected. The bundt cakes are amazing and always made the same. I liked the strawberry one and the white chocolate raspberry initially. After having it for so long I am excited to try the other flavors and try the new ones as long as I don't like them too much because then I will be sad when they are no longer in stock and not available. I have tried many of the different flavors but have not yet had the same excitement as I have had before with the white chocolate raspberry and the strawberry flavored ones. I had the pumpkin flavored one and the chocolate flavored one and the confetti one. I am not a fan of lemon flavored items so I don't think I could make myself try that one soon. I had to pick up some sweets for my coworkers and I was so excited to see that there was a nothing Bundt cakes nearby! It's in a pretty crowded plaza so parking can be difficult especially if it's really busy unless you are okay with walking haha. I ordered the dozen bundtinis. They come in two variety packs or you can choose your own flavors. I just choice a variety pack of the first four flavors they had which included chocolate chip, strawberry crème, pumpkin and one other flavor I believe. I also ordered a confetti Bundt cake for myself on the side. That one and the red velvet are my favorite flavors! I love the cream cheese frosting and the cake itself is super moist. I can usually finish it over a course of 2-3 days because I don't have much of a sweet tooth but it's a great little treat! read more

I order a birthday cake for my son's 16th birthday on Sunday 5/5. I was to pick it up on Saturday, 5/4 at 6pm. After I realize that I missed the pick up time I saw that they were closed on Sunday. I never received a courtesy call or even text, before they close for the weekend. Then on Monday when I went to go pick it up, the representative helping me was extremely rude and insincere or didn't seem to care and basically called me a liar and that someone must have called. I was at this location a few days before mother day looking to get a dozen of the little cupcakes. I walk in talking to a young woman who's helping me. I was wanting to create my own assortment because the person I was buying them for was allergic to one of the flavors. I was informed that due to Mother's Day they would do make accommodations. Then the old lady worker standing 5 feet from her buds in saying if I have a problem with the flavors to not get them in the rudest tone. I then informed her as well the person was allergic to one of the flavors and she quote said "that's not my problem don't get them".
