Got three Bundt cakes from here the other day and had mixed reviews. Usually I enjoy their cakes and they are consistent but this time I got dry cake without filling, so that was new. Dubai chocolate cake - dry. Never thought I'd say a nothing Bundt cake is dry but it was dry. It also had a lot less frosting than their normal cake, it eas a tiny skinny line of chocolate frosting rather than their nice think lines of frosting. Then finally, missing filling. We thought we saw green for a second, maaaaybe a teeny tiny bit, there but there wasn't anything there really! That's the whole point of the Dubai chocolate so that was certainly a disappointment. Banana pudding - loved it! Needed more banana pudding but loved the flavor. Oreo - pretty good Had to lower stars because of very disappointing Dubai chocolate cake. read more

Biscoff Cookie Butter Bundt Cake: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) has become one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I especially enjoy their individual sized "Bundtlets". The Biscoff Cookie Butter flavor first stormed the scene as a "pop-up" Bundtlet in fall 2025. It's back by popular demand from 1/5-2/15/26. Opening the container, the cake itself had a light brown/tan color. The official description is a Bundtlet baked with Biscoff cookies and drizzled with cookie butter (and of course their delicious, sweet cream cheese frosting). As usual, the texture is superb, with one of the best aspects of their cakes being the exceptional moistness of them. In this case, the cookie butter drizzle contributes to the moistness factor. The flavor of the actual cake leans toward generic spice or cinnamon. Bites containing the cookie butter drizzle and/or pieces of Biscoff Cookie make the signature flavor pronounced on the taste buds though. The Biscoff cookies are not crisp, but soft. I can't really hold this against NBC because unless eaten immediately after prep it's almost impossible to keep them crisp. It's also important to note that the cookies are baked throughout the cake and not just the conspicuous one decorating the summit. My only real complaint is it was a missed opportunity not to include cookie butter as a filling in the core, especially since this had a dollar upcharge. With the similar enough Snickerdoodle flavor being recently discontinued, I would like to see the Biscoff made a permanent member alongside the OREO Cookies & Cream (their best in my opinion). We were craving a sweet dessert tonight, so i went on DoorDash and ordered a quick delivery from Nothing Bundt Cakes. I got Carrot for my husband, Red Velvet for one of my daughters and Lemon for my other daughter and myself, it's my favorite! I used to think Bundt cakes were dry and flavorless, and after a few disappointing experiences, I lost interest. That all changed when I had the chance to try a variety of samples from Nothing Bundt Cakes at a Yelp event at Bernie's Book Bank earlier this year! To my surprise, I found that Nothing Bundt Cakes are incredibly moist, fluffy, and just the right amount of bouncy. Every flavor I tried was delicious, with the Red Velvet standing out as a favorite. The frosting is perfectly creamy and has just the right amount of sweetness. Recently, our ceramics class hosted an "end-of-class" party, and with 12 people in our group, including the teacher, I decided to bring a box of a dozen Red Velvet Bundtinis for the potluck. The mini cakes were the perfect size and were a huge hit with everyone! I'm also excited that there's a Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Deerfield, only 10 minutes from home. I would say the White Chocolate Raspberry is my favorite but I purchased the new limited-time Reese's Pieces flavor which has mini candies which are supposed to spill out. We'll see how it goes. My wife brought home a couple of those Bundtinis that were left over from her office and she was telling me how good they were, and I'm not buying it at all. We had a micro wedding due to covid and thought that individual bundtinis would be more sanitary than cutting and distributing cake slices to our few guests. I ordered 50 1-tier bundlet towers for favors at my sister's baby shower and could not have been more pleased. I worked with Sid, the owner, and he was helpful and accommodating. The bundlets were wrapped in cellophane with a white ribbon and they tied on custom favor cards (that I brought to them) at no extra charge. The cakes were completed early on the day of pick-up and looked beautiful! What's not to love about little cakes! Stopped next door for a sandwich so decided to order some bundlets for pick up. Got carrot, lemon, chocolate chocolate chip and cinnamon & sugar (special). They are all so soft and fluffy. A bit much frosting for me but all the different frostings are very good. Not too sweet or dense. The chocolate chocolate chip barely had any chips. Our son was celebrating his 20th birthday while on campus at Lake Forest College. We placed an order from CA as a surprise to him. There was a mix-up on the date the order was to be delivered, and after speaking with Neil, he assured us that the order would get put together and delivered. I've seen franchise locations around for years and made some (admittedly unfair) assumptions about their offerings. Boy was I glad to be proven wrong!! I really like the bundtlets - I usually stretch one across at least 2 desserts (though I'm sure that I could eat one all at once if I wanted to). We had those first, and I was worried that some of the flavor or moistness would be lost when doing a bigger cake, but that wasn't the case at all. So far, I've tried a cinnamon one and a white chocolate one. Based on the other reviews, I think lemon will have to be next! I could not have had a better experience! I have pretty high standards for cakes because I've got some outstanding bakers in the family, but WOW am I impressed. How I would describe these cakes...melts in your mouth, super moist, brilliant flavor, absolutely delectable! Today was my first experience and as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the staff like he was a good friend of mine. Soon after, the other young gentleman greeted me as well and made sure I was being helped. They had chocolate chip cake samples with a dollop of frosting to try today and for not being a big chocolate person, these were perfection. I also do not typically like icing but the whole bite was fantastic! I ended up purchasing the carrot cake bundlet and as I'm checking out, they hand me a free one so I picked red velvet. I devoured nearly the entire thing before leaving the premise. The carrot cake has no nuts (thank goodness) and was one of the best desserts I've ever tasted. I absolutely love Nothing Bundt Cakes! I was at work one day, chugging along, doing my usual thing and then someone delivered two boxes of bundtinis from this lovely establishment and let me tell you, they were delicious. I had a chocolate chocolate chip, which I liked the best, and a red velvet, which was also great. I'm not really a huge cake person. I always feel like the nice looking cake and cupcake stores make pretty looking products but they're always over priced and dry. These were nothing like that. They were both the perfect consistency: soft, moist, and with just the right amount of frosting. I also loved the mini size, because I didn't feel horrible eating two to try the different flavors. It was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up treat at work. A couple months later I found out the store was in Deerfield. I wondered if I just thought they were so good because I was hungry at work so I decided to try it again. I got two bundtlets for me and my parents to try and they were just as good as the first time. My parents absolutely loved them too and have gone back since for more. The bundtlets are bigger than the bundtinis, so I'd say it's too much for one person to eat in one sitting, but great to share. They were still just as soft, moist, and with the perfect touch of frosting. They have a lot of other flavor options too, which I'm sure are all amazing. I got the chocolate chocolate chip again and a carrot cake and weren't disappointed by either. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty treat for yourself, a friend, coworkers, or a party. Wow, that lemon bundt cake - sooo flippin' good! Okay, so, I'm not much of a sweets guy. I usually prefer savory bites, and pass on desserts. I'm so glad we decided to try Nothing Bundt Cakes, because their lemon bundt cake is one of the best sweet bites I've ever had. Like, no joke - in almost 40 years, I don't think I've enjoyed a sweet baked good as much as their lemon bundt cake. I've also tried their vanilla bundt cake and their white-chocolate raspberry, which were also remarkably tasty. The cake is so fresh and moist, but still dense as a proper bundt cake should be. The frosting (and I'm generally not a fan of frosting) is just sublime. Go ahead and read my other reviews. I'm pretty sure I've never dropped "sublime" on any other review. So, now, I'm on a mission to try all the other flavors out. I could just get a bunch of the tiny bundtinis, so I can have a bite of each flavor... But that seems like a cop-out.
