My birthday is on Valentine's Day and Nothing Bundt Cakes really knows how to make a girl feel special. Being part of their email club I received a free bundtlet for my birthday and a free bundtlet for Valentine's Day! Super sweet! The bundtlet size is definitely shareable and you can easily enjoy a quarter of it for 2 desserts. Seeing it was Valentine's Day I went with the classic red velvet. Such a pretty shade of red and just love how the cream cheese frosting covers it so nicely. The cake is delish! So moist and the chocolate chips were a nice surprise. The second bundtlet flavor was new for the month, peanut butter chocolate swirl. You must try this flavor it was amazing! The shop is quaint and fresh and the employees are very helpful and friendly. I didn't realize how much I liked bundt cakes until I came into this cute little shop with my co-worker at lunch. I had a sample of the turtle bundt cake and I was hooked. The cake is super light, not too sweet and the frosting is placed so you get a little bit with each bite; just adding the right amount of sweetness. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but ended up taking home the chocolate chocolate chip and carrot cake bundtlets. Both were delicious! They also sell many gift items to go with the bundt cakes. So I've been waiting several months to finally get to this store! Sure we've all seen the mini's in the malls but to actually go to the store/bakery is another experience! It smells like sugar heaven when you walk in, with a variety of options compared to the mall. Also, convenient and sufficient parking is a plus. Dozen variety of bundtletts was enticing, but for the price, opted for 3 mini's as it appears more bang for the buck. They also sell decorative flags with saying such as "I love you" "congratulations" and "welcome" which I took advantage of to celebrate and surprise a family member on their first home purchase! Little morsels Some time ago we were gifted some of this goodness and had been wanting to stop out to try some more but their hours are (understandably) limited. We recently got a BOGO coupon in the mail so I went out of the way after my work day to pickup some treats. This location is well lit and nicely decorated. The staff was welcoming and explained their offerings perfectly. The only issue was what TWO bundt's to pick from. I ended up with chocolcate chocolate chip and carrot cake. When I saw that there is a Nothing Bundt Cakes right by my office I ran over there and the rest is history. These are not JUST bundt cakes (and they do not need to be "fixed" Greek Wedding!) They offer three sizes, a bundtini (mini cupcake sized), a bundtlet (large muffin sized) and the large cakes (8", 10", and tiered.) You can buy anything single, or get a box of a dozen assorted bundtini or a tower of bundtlets. I have tried so many flavors and NEVER tried one I didn't like. They are all moist, thick, flavorful and topped with that REAL cream cheese frosting. Beyond the cake, I had the pleasure of meeting a woman over the weekend (possibly the owner or operator?) at Mayfair Mall where she had a stand set up. She was so friendly. She threw in an extra bundt cake to thank me for my military service. To top it off, I learned that her son is a Marine, which makes me want to support this business even more! My first time having their cake was at my baby shower in Chicago. One day my cousin and I were at the Mayfair mall and they had a stall. Found out they've been in Brookfield for a year now!!
