Unfortunately, by the time I started drinking it, the temperature was just a bit cooler than I prefer. I like my hot drinks to be at least 130°F. There wasn't much in the way of pastries or Danish that day, so I skipped having something to go with my tea. Service: Friendly and helpful service at the counter. Atmosphere: The café was about half full, with people quietly working on laptops or enjoying conversations with friends. Sugar, the shop cat, was wandering around as usual, and this time I was able to spend a little quality time with her. The raspberry scone was fresh, with good flavor and texture. They even warmed it up a bit. Service: This morning, we got friendly and helpful service when we placed the order. Atmosphere: Lots of places to sit and we picked a spot on the first level. The noise level was a bit loud, but we could still have a conversation. Issues: After we sat down, we were approached by a panhandler. This is the second time this has happened. After the person left, the manager came over to check on us, and apologized. Not sure how they can best solve this issue. But it's an unfortunate situation.
