Popped into Nosh to pick up some to go food as poor Hubs has been fasting since yesterday and is at the U for treatment.
I was driving by when I spotted their newest location just off 109th and Whyte! They have LOADS of seating, the cutest decor, and the nicest staff. I was promptly greeted upon arrival - always nice!
They currently have a promotion for a free chai with wrap purchase. The gal behind the counter (Nancy) shared with me that this location opened about 2.5 months ago while the 124th street location has been going strong +2 years now. She was patient and very informative with the menu for recommendations today as well as in the future.
I used the washroom while waiting for my to go order and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness (as well as handicap accessibility which is a big plus my family).
I settled on a palek paneer wrap (spinach cheese) and a tandoori chicken wrap (with delicious potatoes in it!). I sipped on housemade chai while the wraps were prepared. Nancy shared with me that the chai is ground/made in house. I also snuck a peek at their dessert counter which had me drooling and most definitely planning a return visit with the kids! More than the typical Indian fare here - I definitely want to try the hot gulab jamun with ice cream! read more
