Whether your time spent outside is for business or pleasure you can find what you need here at reasonable prices. I know Yelp shows the business as a $$$ option - but the truth is it's all closer to $$. Even before their sales... There's a wide mix of basic and higher-end brands that will really work for anyone's budget. Service is also top-notch. Friendly and courteous and insanely helpful staff that will drop everything to help you find the right product, no matter how many other tasks they are trying to balance at the same time. This shop is definitely worth your time and money, and as an added bonus: it's a locally-owned and operated option not some big conglomerate. Why not go there?

Not so the manager. I have to go back when I have time and on my way to mountain to use the credit-- but will never shop there again.

After multiple stops I came to Big 5. They had several styles of adult rollerblades!! The inventory was all about 10+ feet up on wall shelves though. The girl working (young blonde girl) was super accommodating by getting on a ladder and bringing me down several pairs to try on. The store was busy at the time, but she took about 15 minutes out to help me. I've been here before for other sporting equipment, and the prior visits have been just as pleasant.

The first clerk I asked to sell me a pass fumbled around and could not log into a computer. He made an odd, childish sounding call to another clerk. That person came and the two of them would have been comical to watch, if not so sad. After about 5 minutes, clerk 2 called his manager. I had the dubious please of listening to first questions about the computer ( I could tell it was not good news of some type), then a long conversation about sales, socks and things the clerk was to do. It was very clear the customer standing awkwardly in their store was not important. So, after the call, I'd been in the store 10-15 minutes. The clerk addresses me, while looking down and to his left, like he was afraid of me. I had NOT said a single word at this point. He gave a long-winded excuse, this was a known issue, they had submitted tickets, they simply had to call the state and get it fixed. I simply said OK and left to find another store and by my pass. This store needs training and a manager shake up. To not post the computer was broke (so I would not drive there in the first place), to not notify staff, to not care about the customer standing there while they were talking socks and sales.... Everything that is wrong about retail training and service is endemic to this store.

The store had their sidewalk sales racks with some shirts on display and also outdoor chairs. I decided to walk Inside the store and was very impressed with the selection. Consider this store as a Sport Man Outdoor store, but it's family-owned. So that's nice! They have everything in this store from clothes to shoes to hunting and fishing stuff , guns, knives, outdoor gear. You know what I mean! The staff are nice & friendly. One of the employees actually shut the automatic feature down for the doors and only the doors would open when pushed physically because my toddler kept running around the store and wouldn't want to sit still in the shopping cart. They didn't have to do that, but that was very nice that they did that! lol The store has some awesome sales that I was able to buy some shirts for my husband and for my toddler. Although the store offers email receipts, you should get the physical receipts anyway because they detail the transaction items versus the email receipts. The email receipts I got only show the total of the sales, which would be very confusing if you were to try doing return - exchange because the store would need to see the items listed. I will 10/10 come back to this store in the future!

I didn't realize me trying to make a purchase which made her have to get off her phone was such an issue. Even the person I was with as we left was wondering why she seemed so bothered. Hopefully she had a better day. Anyways kudos to the older lady who helped me make my shoe purchase, you're a rockstar.

One guy would be helping then walk away then another would come over. It seems a bit disorganized. Also, I was told someone would call when my background check came back, but based on the reviews, I decided to call and found out I had passed with no notification. I reached out by email to someone about another issue, which I later realized was not an issue and my husband made a mistake, but they were very good at reaching out and trying to rectify the situation, which I appreciated. Bottom line, there needs to be better training for the guys at the gun counter. Most of them are knowledgeable and helpful, but definitely a lot of disorganization with helping of customers and getting/communicating information.
