Also, unlike many other running stores in the area, their method of fitting shoes is very unique and thorough.

We stopped by Wapiti Outdoors on our way home after reading about their famous huckleberry ice…read morecream and milkshakes. Most of the store is dedicated to selling gifts and other merchandise. The cafe, where all the ice cream and treats are found, is in the back of the store through a doorway on the right. Milkshake, Huckleberry, Large 24oz ($8.50*) - I'm not sure if they make their ice cream in house. Probably not**, but the milkshake is pretty tasty, studded with plenty of little flecks of blue/black colored berries. The consistency is perfectly drinkable and it's not too sweet. I saw them pouring in milk and scooping tons of ice cream into the blender - the milkshake probably has more ice cream included than even a double scoop cone. The milkshake is delightfully fruity flavored, kind of like blueberry, but also a little different. Just the day before drinking this milkshake, I foraged huckleberries near Mt. Rainier (red and several types of blue), and I can say that it also doesn't taste exactly like a fresh huckleberry, but the ice cream still tastes great in its own way. (4/5) *There is something funky going on with their accounting. A large milkshake (sans whipped cream) should be $8.50 according to the menu displayed at the counter. Their address indicates they are in Enumclaw, so adding a 8.9% Enumclaw sales tax should be $9.26. I was charged $9.49, plus an additional 33 cent service charge (they have a label at the front counter stating they charge a 3.5% service fee for credit cards so that's not an issue). I gave them a call after noticing this discrepancy and they told me that the large milkshake is actually $8.75 since they raised prices two months prior (and didn't update their menu...) and the extra $0.74 is tax. That's equivalent to a 8.5% sales tax, which no jurisdiction in either King County nor Pierce County charges. There's something strange going on and their explanation in the call makes no sense. **Based on my research, I believe the ice cream they use is from Cascade Glacier, which is a blueberry ice cream base with huckleberry flavoring. Any place with unethical or dishonest behavior automatically gets a 1 star review. For Wapiti Outdoors, in the best case scenario, they, for some inexplicable reason, decided not to update their electronic signboard to reflect their latest pricing AND they didn't set up their POS system to calculate sales tax correctly. In the worst case scenario, they are actively scamming their customers. Bathrooms - One unisex room

Ok, yes it's becoming a routine. Hiking and then ice cream. Today I went for the strawberry flavor…read more Delicious! And with strawberry bits as advertised. Super creamy and not too sweet. The service is so friendly. Vibes welcoming. And they have so many fun things to purchase. See previous review. T-shirts, stickers, mugs, special food items, hiking gear and more! It's odd to me that Kohls decided to come into Bonney Lake. I don't know if we are really able to…read moresupport this store when they don't carry what folks out here use or wear. I know for our family we're practical & hard working. If my husband needs jeans we're at Walmart or go to Fred Meyer for Carhartt. He doesn't wear stretch skinny jeans. Kohls sells thin graphic tees, last years releases of Nike & Under Armor, suits, dress pants and has saddest shoe department you'll ever see. Mens and women's. Overpriced and the quality is terrible. The big & tall mens section has a hard to find sizes but the prints are ugly. The women's plus size section is half the size of the big & tall. Literally maybe 5 racks. That's it. It's right next to the workout clothes. I guess that's a not so subtle hint. Kohls is banking on bigger women also spending money on pricey workout clothes so we can move to the section of the women's department that actually has a selection to look at. The merchandise is just ok. Nothing to get excited about. The usual women's winter pajamas, cardigans, $9.99 fleece throws in the predictable prints. The home department has nothing to look at. Marshalls has a far better selection and their store is a fraction of the size. I like seeing new and interesting products but this is not the store for that. The staff is friendly. There's a lot of them now I suppose for the holidays. A lot of them. I think I saw 5 in the mens shoe department alone. There's a Sephora in the store that is always empty. Buckley, Orting, Enumclaw, Sumner, Bonney Lake. Do any of these women look like they spend hundreds of dollars on expensive makeup? If they do, will they keep coming back for more so you actually turn a profit? I'm not saying that the store is horrible. It wasn't a good idea but here it is. I give them 1 more year.

I walked in to return 5 small items to the Amazon kiosk. A young man was helping me and had scanned…read moreone of the items. Then a young lady, Felicity, took over. The issue was that I stood there for a solid 2 minutes, no communication, while she fiddled with boxes. I finally said, 'can you finish taking my return?' She replied, 'I have shit to do first.' I said, 'excuse me?' I asked for her Manager. The manager (Heidi) came from the front of the store and was polite at first. Felicity kept saying things under her breath as Heidi continued to take the remaining items as returns. Heidi stated that she couldn't believe Felicity cursed. I had zero reason to make all of this up. There was then a customer behind me. When Heidi finished, I walked towards the front of the store. I stopped just behind some racks so they could not see me and Felicity said 'I don't know why she lied.' To which Heidi stated, 'don't worry about it. People don't need to speak to our associates that way.' First off, Heidi was nowhere near the kiosk when all of it initially took place. Second, I did not even raise my voice. Third, there was another customer there. Fourth, you are the General Manager and are acting this way? No wonder your associate was so out-of-line. She learns it from you and you encourage it to keep happening. The formal complaint is being sent. This was a ridiculous situation.
