i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

If I could give this place a negative five stars I would!!!…read moreI have bought a couple appliances from this place. However, I always came with a truck to haul them away. This time I asked about their delivery service, I was qouted a price and given a date and delivery window, which was two days later. I was fine with that eventhough it was a five hour window. When I called on the day of delivery two hours in I was told that my wash machine was on the truck and on the way, and that the driver would call me when they were an hour away. After waiting for the whole five hours no one called me and no one delivered my item. I called back and the lady stated oh maybe their running a little late YOU THINK? So I asked if they could have the delivery person call and give me an ETA. She put me on hold and TJ came on the line and said he would call me back in a few minutes to let me know how much longer it would be. Well that never happened the store closed without calling me back. I called the next morning and TJ answered and I asked why he never called me back he began to deflect and talk about how he told the drivers to give me a call. I stopped him to remind him he was the one who was suppose to call me RIGHT BACK. I asked again when can you deliver my appliance, he told me he did not have anyone in today who could do the delivery"It's sitting right here all I need is someone to deliver it to you." HOLD UP!! You told me it was on the truck and out for delivery today why is it still in your store? He could not explain why. He stated he would try to get someone out later in the day then he asked what would be a good time for me. I said YESTERDAY AND ANY TIME THERE AFTER. Needless to say they still did not deliver my machine that was saturday. On monday at 11am I called to inquire about the same delivery the older lady said let me get TJ. He gets on the phone and states the washer is on the truck for delivery. I ask why didn't anyone call me to let me know this and schedule a time I would be able to be there. He asked how early would I like to have the delivery I said NOW. Again he states they are at one stop and I will be the next one. OH AND I WILL HAVE THEM GIVE YOU A CALL!! REALLY!! NO CALL AND NO WASHER!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN I PROMISE

I was told the refrigerator would be available in two weeks and delivered two days later on Friday August 21, Thursday I reached out to confirm what time they would be delivering and the sales person basically laughed and said something about their Wi-Fi being down. Stated Sorry your refrigerator is not going to be delivered on Friday. I had taken the day off so I could be here. He stated he could have it delivered the following Tuesday. I was going out of town for the week, I asked for a callback did not receive one, left a message saying I just wanted my money refunded and to cancel my delivery. Did not receive a call back, called four more times and finally got a call back from a customer service person in Florida; so much for Local small business. Finally Friday afternoon at four they stated they would refund my money and 7 to 10 days. I asked for confirmation number or email so I proof the order had been canceled and they refused.
