Overall unhappy with the customer service provided by the used car sales of this Northtown Hyundai. I'm in the military stationed overseas and I began looking for a vehicle for my carless wife as she came back early for house things. Since so much info is available online I was able to pinpoint a few specific vehicles for her to go check out to save her the hassle of figuring out what cars would have all the features she wants etc. Northtown Hyundai had a Palisade that was overall exactly what she was looking for and it was relatively close to where she was currently staying. Everything went smooth initially, though the car's interior was filthy and the center console was damaged when she initially went to see it. That was fine though as they said it would all be fixed and cleaned, so a price was agreed on and a deposit was put down to hold the vehicle. That's about where the good service stopped. They said they would bring someone in to repair the center console that was damaged and get the car cleaned up. A week passed and my wife repeatedly had to call or go in person for an update just to see the vehicle in the same condition. I understand if their repair person was on vacation or unavailable (what they said), however you could at least reach out for a status update and inform her that the vehicle wouldn't be ready as soon as initially said. There was a bit of back and forth, and eventually I told my wife to just request a small discount and we could just get it repaired afterwards because she was without a vehicle. After a bit of back and forth they agreed and still needed to detail the vehicle over the weekend so she agreed to that. Days passed and she goes to finalize paperwork and receive the vehicle, and it's still dirty inside. They said it was cleaned, but it wasn't done very well all over. Tire shine splattered all over the sides of the vehicle. Kyle was the salesman she initially had who regularly took awhile to respond to messages and used the "I tried calling you" excuse whenever she would go in for an update. Dominic the used car manager had to step in to finish the deal though gave my wife a hard time about the communication not being that bad with the sales rep. Long story short. Poor communication and bad customer service once the deposit was taken. If the vehicle wasn't a decent deal and close to where my carless wife was temporarily staying before I came back to the states, I would have canceled the deal based on customer service alone. I specifically went out of my way to find dealerships for her with a high rating to avoid a bad experience, but clearly I was misled. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.

He showed us a few cars and when due to a small technicality we encountered a small issue with financing, not only did he fix it, he got our interest rate cut in half! He followed up and made sure we were taken care of. When a small issue came up with one of the keys to the Lexus, he was very responsive and although we have not resolved it yet, there's not a doubt in my mind that he will make it right. There was a small mix up in price during our shopping experience that nearly brought me to tears! (The car that I loved turned out to be a lot higher priced than I was told) and after walking away thinking I will have to buy something else, he worked with management and a couple days later was able to lower the price a lot...Now, I understand that this sounds a lot like a tactic and I've bought enough cars to know it; However, it was an honest correction and I'm pretty sure they lost money on the deal because of their commitment to customer service and the original error.... Local availability for this model--particularly AWD--was extremely limited, so we were willing to make the six‑hour round trip only after very clear assurances. Prior to the trip, I spoke directly with Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. I explicitly stated that we were driving from out of state and that we were prepared to purchase the vehicle immediately if it met basic, clearly defined conditions: the car needed to drive straight, show no visible body damage, have no unusual odors, and be in genuinely "great condition." We had already test‑driven this model locally and were not browsing--we were buying. Based on their repeated assurances, photos they sent, and their insistence that the car "drove like new" and had no issues, we proceeded. We added the vehicle to our insurance and brought a cashier's check for the agreed amount, expecting a quick transaction. Upon arrival on February 14, those assurances immediately unraveled. Before even leaving the lot, a red warning light was illuminated on the dashboard. During a short drive, my wife noticed severe visual distortion through the windshield, resembling a fun‑house mirror. Upon switching seats, it became obvious the windshield had been replaced with a low‑quality aftermarket product. The driver‑side door was misaligned and did not close smoothly, and the hood also failed to line up properly. After parking to investigate the warning light, it became clear it was related to the pedestrian impact / pop‑up hood system--indicating the vehicle had been involved in a frontal impact. Despite a "clean" CarFax report, the physical evidence strongly suggested prior collision damage and poor‑quality repairs. This was further supported by numerous HIGHLY visible paint chips, scratches, rim damage, and obvious touch‑up attempts--none of which appeared in the photos provided beforehand. For a vehicle with under 7,000 miles, this condition is unacceptable. More concerning is that these issues were either ignored or intentionally misrepresented by individuals who "do this for a living," despite our very direct questions and the significant travel involved. Offering to fix the issues after the fact does not resolve the underlying problem: this car should never have been presented as accident‑free or in excellent condition. We assume they were hoping we would go through with the sale after making the long drive from Pittsburgh. We declined to proceed and drove home. Integrity and honesty were clearly lacking in this transaction. While reviews suggest this may not be the norm, this experience was significant enough to warrant caution. If you choose to work with Basil Resale Sheridan, I strongly recommend avoiding Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. A clean CarFax report does not replace transparency, and neither does a verbal assurance. Good luck to anyone who actually purchases the Black 2024 INFINITI QX50 Sport, I definitely feel sorry for them. As of this writing, we are still waiting for any formal outreach or explanation from dealership leadership.

They connected me with my original salesperson Hawrra who was as awesome as she was before!! I was given such an amazing deal and treated with such care and kindness!! On her most recent visit, they charged her $1,247.41 in labor alone for routine work: two tires, an alignment, a brake flush, and an air filter. The invoice lists no labor hours, no justification, and no transparency. The only way to reach that number is by stacking and inflating labor time, which is exactly what they did. After reviewing multiple invoices from her past visits, the pattern becomes obvious: inconsistent labor pricing, "menu" labor charges that don't match the work performed, and totals that swing wildly depending on how vulnerable the customer is. And after reading other public reviews, it's clear my mother is not the only one. This dealership has: - convinced a 91‑year‑old woman to buy unnecessary transmission and brake services - charged another elderly customer $2,643 for a horn repair - billed $950 for brake pads that cost under $100 - sold undercoating to a customer who already had it - refused to honor a $5 coupon on a $600 bill This isn't a misunderstanding. This isn't a one‑off mistake. This is systemic predatory behavior. I am a former mechanic and an auditor. I know what these jobs cost. I know how long they take. And I know what it looks like when a dealership pads labor and preys on seniors who trust the brand. My mother will not be returning. Neither will I. And anyone reading this should think very carefully before handing this dealership a repair order -- because once they have your keys, they treat it like a blank check.
