A while back, the battery for my clicker to lock and unlock my door died, so I was manually locking and unlocking my doors the old school way, no big deal. But, recently, I had an issue with the manual lock where it would no longer unlock with the key. I needed to call roadside assistance to get in my car. That same day, I booked an appointment at West Herr Toyota in Williamsville for the following week. (The event happened on a Friday, and I got a Tuesday appointment!) I went online and they had an appointment that was after work hours that fit perfectly into my schedule. I arrived early to my appointment and Doug started on my car immediately. Timing here is important... I pulled up at 6:33pm for my 6:40pm appointment. My car was done and I was cashed out by 6:41pm!!! Now, of course not every appointment for your car is going to be as seamless as this, but Doug knew what he was doing! He fixed my door lock and put new batteries in my clicker and it was only $8.65 for the service and only 8 minutes of my evening. I was thoroughly impressed with the the friendly service, timeliness and cost. The woman who checked me in for my appointment was kind and the woman who cashed me out was equally as sweet. This team was amazing. I highly recommend this service department!

We brought the car in on a Saturday and it was repaired and returned to us the following Wednesday. I initially spoke with Cole on the telephone, and he was very helpful in getting my car right in. Once at the dealership, we were assigned Jonas Walker as our Service Advisor. We were given a loaner car to use while ours was being worked on. Jonas kept us informed of the status of the repairs, and we were pleased with how he handled our service. All in all, it was a good experience.

After trying to take my car to the dealership I purchased it from, I ended up at West Herr Subaru in Lockport as it was suggested they may be able to get me back on the road faster. I called over to West Herr Subaru to see if this was indeed the case and spoke with Jonas Walker who would quickly become my Service Advisor and Subaru Superhero. Jonas couldn't promise me he could get my car diagnosed the same day (Monday) but was hopeful for the following day. Given the fact I was in such a pinch, I decided to drop my car off on Monday anyway and heard from Jonas later that afternoon (hallelujah). As suspected, my car was in serious need of repair and the parts probably wouldn't be in until Thursday - two days after I was scheduled to leave Buffalo - ah! Jonas did, however, inform me it could be a same day repair once the parts were in. Ok, I can work with this (driving like a madwoman loading). Around 9:30am on Thursday, I called West Herr Subaru and was told Jonas would be out for two-weeks and, truly, my stomach dropped - is he ok? Did he order the parts? What about my car? Rest assured, West Herr took great care of me and my now elderly Subaru. Another Service Advisor stepped in and informed me my car is ready for pick up! What?! OK, be right there! I was on the road by about 11:30am on Thursday and am very happy to report I am now back in Los Angeles and had a hassle free drive back. It was failed due to ripped windshield wipers, which would be fine if they offered a reasonably priced fix. Instead, they tried to charge me almost $80 for a pair of wiper blades--a 100% markup over what local automotive part stores charge. With people struggling financially lately it is my opinion that this is very unreasonable. You can go to any local automotive parts store and find windshield wipers for anywhere $20.00 - $40.00, installed for free. In my opinion,​ using state inspections as an opportunity to price-gouge repeat customers is completely unacceptable. Very disheartening experience, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I couldn't imagine myself going anywhere else for service! Today in particular, the service area opened at 7:30am and they had me come in at 7:50 (as soon as we spoke!). A shuttle just happened to pull up as I dropped off my car and i immediately got a ride home from a very nice man. My car was done 2 hours later (found leak and patched it and also gave me an oil change). The shuttle came to get me right away! I want to say my service advisor Jessica was awesome and I'd love to work with her any-day. And that goes for everyone I came in contact with. Repairs are so much less stressful with service like this and I'm so glad I started working with a dealership for my repair and service needs ... 180 degree difference from going to a shop and in the best way.

(shift change, lift didn't work, vacation) I arranged my schedule to be able to take my truck to them , they made the appointments ,but each time there was a problem. they were extremely rude ,and they showed no remorse , they didn't apologize , they simply didn't care . i have purchased many trucks and cars from west Herr in the past , but that is the end of that . This review is only for the service department…read more So I'll give this place 4.5 stars, here's why: First of, it's the dealership. Rumor has it, you're overpaying for work that you can get cheaper elsewhere. However, I don't trust "those other places". This place tells you what you need to hear: good, bad or ugly...but at the end of the day, it's the truth. Choose to do what you want with that info, but it's your choice. I went in for a standard oil change, and tire rotation. I bought a package of three oil changes and tire rotation because there's a discount (of some sort) if you buy it as a package. The good news is they keep track of the packages and can tell you how many you've used or have left (bc to be honest, who has time to keep up with such list of to-do's, right?)...And so this goes back to my first statement, they're trustworthy. I had no problems at all. They did an oil change, tire rotation and an induction cleaning of my engine in under 2 hours. Overall, I'm very happy. I have no complaints and yes, I would recommend to anyone needing a trustworthy place to take your car for service.

Told me I needed to replace the electric fans. Motors seized. Recommended aftermarket Fans. Then it was wiring harness for fans, then TPM. After I received the car back my turn signals were not operating properly. Flashing erratically. Was told it is probably my bulbs. Checked bulbs. None are out. Took it back. Replaced TPM again. Still malfunctioning turn signals. Was told " I wouldn't worry, they work good enough". Until I can't pass inspection in my state. I never had issues with my turn signals until Northtown Dodge repaired my vehicle.
