Very fair. Then it turned out that I needed to gather all of my chart information myself, bc it would be too expensive for them to have a way to view my charts electronically. Very fair, trying to keep costs down. Inconvenient, but fair. Then they could not help me because they wanted my doctor's actual words. I could not provide those, so we were at a standstill. I had pain, they referred me to a doctor who knew more about gyn health. Not a gyn, just someone who knew more - Dr. Jeff was not comfortable with gyn health. I went to her beginning of October I paid her, I waited, no prescription. I texted can Dr. Jeff prescribe? More than a week is a long time to be in pain AFTER the appointment. Dr. Jeff got her to respond. December I need to the same prescription and he had more than 3 months to consult with her and "learn how to prescribe". But could I please just consult with her, and NEXT time he will "learn how to prescribe". He kept saying if I wanted he would prescribe, but every time I asked, he would not. I had figured, I will remain because at least they could prescribe for me without a big fuss, even if he can not actually treat me or help me. Joke is on me, I am still in pain today, will probably end up having to wait 4 weeks in pain until she can see me. If you just want to get the odd strep test, or consult by text about the flu, I assume that would work, I have no experience getting much out of Dr. Jeff. He is very nice, and he is available sometimes on the app, a few hours or days after messages. I paid for 7 months, and got one "checkup", with zero conclusions about what I can do about my problems, and one prescription for one longstanding med out of it. I had zero follow up from him. If you are really healthy and have lots of patience, and no need to transfer any of your records, this is a nice enough place. I still have chest pain and gyn pain, but if you come in healthy you should be happy here.

If it weren't for my doctors whom I love so much, I would have left this practice. The buildings are dirty. A couple of years ago, we went to Evanston hospital and they put us (my young son) in an emergency room with dried blood. I didn't notice until we were done with our appointment and I started looking around. It was on the sink, the bed rail, the curtain. I was going to seriously report them to the health department, but my husband said to let it go. The referral process is a JOKE. You are constantly having to jump through hoops only to be told no. And unfortunately referrals have to go through your medical group before insurance. It's too much to deal with. They don't care about the patients. It's all about money.

Since this place was listed as an approved site, I made an appointment online with ease through my agency. Since I'm always an early bird, I got there at a much considerable time before my appointment; however, there were a couple of parties ahead of me that seemed to have been waiting for a while, actually going past their actual confirmed times. Later, we found out that the owner/employee sent an email or a message that the place was going to be closed until 12:30 PM, and that there was going to be a delay, but some of the individuals didn't receive it and/or did not check their phones. Honestly, I thought it was pretty unfair for those of us who actually had confirmed appointments but wasn't affected by the closure/delay was not prioritized and seen first; the ones who were contacted that had the earlier time slots were handled instead, causing another ripple of delay (again). Fortunately, the process was quick and efficient, all completed under a minute. Staff was friendly and apologized to everyone for the lateness. The place is not well-ventilated and extremely stuffy; there is a fan, but it'd be nice if there was an AC unit or something. It is tight quarters, so about 2 can be at the counter (for fingerprints), while the rest forms a line through the mini hallway. The place does accept walks-ins; however, the number posted on the entry door was not answered and went to voicemail. Note that the business is on the 2nd floor, and I didn't see any elevators on site. There's an entrance between an Asian eatery and an eyecare clinic. I've been there 3 times for the ER. Twice my experience with the Dr's has been efficient and diagnosed well. Sadly, there was one time in the ER where I was diagnosed by a NA and it was wrong and I was prescribed a medication in the Mycin genre. I am allergic to any drug in the Mycin family; which I had written down, is in my folder and I told them verbally. The drug prescribed to me could have killed me and if it wasn't for my Pharmacist at Walgreens on Broadway, Ann who is the freaking BEST!, she saved my life. I would still recommend the hospital beyond this one bad experience.
