Fraud Alert! This Chicago, Illinois Lab filed an insurance claim with my Medicare information for…read more$400+ in laboratory services related to stomach contents . They claim that the referring doctor was a northern California doctor that I never saw and don't know and who per a Google search, practices hundreds of miles away from me. He seems legitimate and likely the scammers stole his info too so I won't name him here. The date of referral is not indicated on the denial which is unusual. The Explanation of Benefits was received in December 2024 and the form only shows Oct-Nov 2024. Medicare denied the claim because this "lab" is not a Medicare provider. I was fortunate because the denial saved me lots of headache. Someone working in a medical setting must be feeding them names and addresses and insurance company information, as I see several Yelpers have taken the time to report this on Yelp. Thanks go to them and to Yelp.

I've worked in billing before, this request should take about 2 minutes, so I don't understand the issue and thus far no one has bothered to explain it to me either. I researched how to get there, as some have complained they could not find it. I walked into the building, and the security staff told me to go to floor 15. I walked into the office and checked in at the kiosk answering a few simple questions. I get a bit uneasy about having my blood drawn, but Tiffany was wonderful. She had such a calm and reassuring voice. She told me everything that that we would be doing and took extra care as she drew my blood. Before I knew it, it was done. Tiffany made sure I was feeling okay before letting me know how and when I should expect my results. She was really fantastic! I had a great experience here and recommend it. For peace of mind, do a basic search of the address so you can get familiar with where you are going. It helped for me. :)

On the the day of the test, Ariely was also very helpful and courteous at registration. The facility has an open MRI and it was very comfortable. The machine is not as loud and/or enclosed as the one I had at a local hospital. The MRI Technician - Jerry - was absolutely outstanding! His patient care skills is top-notched! I'm from a medical family; and Jerry makes you feel at ease immediately. Furthermore, he clarified my initial questions regarding the imaging order details, both from my PCP and ENT, respectively. After the test, I received a disk of My MRI images. After this experience, I will never utilize a hospital MRI facility. I highly recommend MRI Lincoln Imaging Center-Fullerton Location.
