The receptionist was so kind, as well as the RN, then I got to meet Dr Augier. Saying she was so caring and patient doesn't even begin to explain it. She said "I could send you off with an antibiotic and steroid but I wouldn't sleep tonight because I'd be worried about you". She sent me to the ER- turns out I have an abscess that was blocking part of my throat and needed a procedure done immediately. I woke up today feeling almost 100% bc she didn't brush me off like the previous place did. If I could make her my primary physician, I would!

The possible bad news could require months of rehab and overall Hell! I was seen right away by her and she could sense that I was nervous because when she walked in the stool by the checkup table had me standing on it with a cord around my neck. She's like "Omg what's going on here are you ok?" I was like "oh oh I'm sorry this must be wrong room I'm the electrician just checking the light fixture" Then she says alright so since your here looking at the imaginary light fixture maybe I could look at your imaginary left leg for you?  Yup! She talked me off the ledge and put me at ease. On a serious note, she's extremely intelligent, thorough, informative, helpful, caring. Now even the best of the best are missing at least one of those attributes but not her. I'm almost thinking about taking up rock climbing with used rope bought on Bangladesh Ebay just to get another appointment! She'll restore your faith in all that's good in people and Medicine. Sought treatment because the rash had continued to spread and was now on my face/chin. 1) Tried handing the receptionist my driver's license and insurance card, she refused and handed me a tablet to complete the registration myself. I completed the forms, scanned both documents, then had to type much of the same info in add'l fields. (this is taking self-serve to a whole new level) 2) Returned the tablet to receptionist who indicated they probably could not see me, my insurance is from out of state. I am from out of state, but I have United Healthcare - website says they accept UHC. 3) Decided they could see me and put me in a room. The doctor arrived shortly but only provided a lecture on histamine reactions and offered to print out information on the same. No compassion for how miserable I felt or that the poison sumac had migrated to my face/chin. Questioned whether she was going to do anything and was told it simply needed to run its course. No offer of steroids or a prescription creme to ease the swelling, itchy, and general miserable situation. An aggravating and complete waste of time.

Don't be surprised if Med students follow the lead clinician among appointments -- we need more care providers! I've seen complaints about wait times, but I've been whisked in, diagnosed, treated, Rx'd and sent on my way -- all within 30 minutes. My visits have been covered by insurance, but it doesn't hurt to call in advance to check your coverage. Faster and less chaotic than an ER, plentiful parking ... and close to Stan's Donuts if you need a pick-me-up :o)

Was tough for us…read morebecause we had an appointment for a Covid test and they were running 90 minutes behind for some reason. Had to sit in our car until ready. Frustrating. But the staff was friendly and helpful. Spoke on the phone to Becky several times while we waited. She was pleasant and reassuring. That helped. Seth was great in onboarding us as new patients and taking vitals, etc. And then Dr. Nitin Soorya was very gracious in talking with us about the results and next steps. His "bedside" manner was great. And would love to have him again next time we are there. Only one reason we could not give them 5 stars was one staff member we spoke with on the phone during our online check in process. Not sure of her name. We did not like having to do everything on our phones in the car to check in. Drivers license pictures, insurance card pictures, etc. Wanted to go in and have them do that. But they refused. (our daughter had been at another location the same day and did not have the same issues we had today) Online when booking the appointment it says it is "optional" to do the check-in online. We chose not to. She called and said it was mandatory. Ok. So we checked in with our phones. Completed the check in process, got replies saying they were completed. If a required field was not filled in, it prevented you, as it should, from continuing. But we did it all and finished. Got a few texts and eventually a call from this woman (difficult to understand her accent) there who said we had to give a credit card too. I explained the form says it is optional, so we did not want to put it in. We have insurance, she looked it up and no copays, etc. Was 100% covered by insurance. She insisted it was their policy to have credit card information anyways. Though the policy, per the online check-in, was "optional". She said we were wrong and it would not have completed our forms online without it. Even though she had all our check-in information except that one thing. Does not make sense. She clearly did not know the form was saying optional and instead of apologizing, etc. she choose to simply keep saying, this is our policy and I must do this. We eventually complied and gave her our credit card. We did not get charged, as was expected, and insurance took care of it. However, our CC info is out there now, where we did not want it to be. If she was our only person of contact, we would have gotten our tests and never considered returning. Good thing we met Becky, Seth and Dr. Soorya. They saved the day for this group! So after all that, we do recommend this place. Just watch out for the other lady.

When a family member needs urgent treatment, you expect compassion, professionalism, and timely care. Patients and their families deserve to be treated with respect and understanding.

If I qualified, I've done it: supplements, fad diets, desserts, snacks, paper towels, plant-based meat alternatives, just to name a few. If you're in one of the more extensive studies, they have dieticians and doctors on staff to monitor your vitals and other conditions. You're in good hands. The pick-ups for product testing are pretty efficient and most taste tests take less than 30 minutes. I like the setup for the tastings, too. You kind of have your own little cubicle and the food is passed through a sliding door. At this time, contact with others is pretty minimal, they do a decent job of social distancing, and masks are still required. The only thing that's not my favorite is that you get paid by a debit card that gets loaded with funds and that can sometimes take a few business days.
