Alicia was my phlebotomist and she was great and super friendly. The location is clean and convenient and if you do have to wait you can walk around the store and they'll text you when it's your turn. I'll continue to come to this location when I can (much better experience both times I've come here than the glenview Walgreens location).

Note that this place opens at 7:30 AM, not 7 AM, and your check-in process won't begin until then. Staff here are super friendly, and they do take their time with you. I just have to commend them that their restroom was super clean (that is, at least in the morning); the sink with soap is located outside of the restroom, though. Walk-ins are accepted, but making advance appointments can help you cut the queue; my recommendation is to go there as early as you can, so you can be in and out quickly. However, I believe they are perhaps very understaffed. I have been here at least 2-3 times in the last 6 months for various blood runs, as it is located in the same building as my neurologist. Every single time I come to this location, have waited at least 30 minutes, if not longer. I know one time was like an hour because I was dying of boredom with no magazines nor cell reception. I guess I always assumed this was "normal" for a walk in blood lab. However, I recently went to another location (Peterson Ave. -closer to home) and I was in and out in 5 minutes. So, that said, I guess the feedback here is that if they are aware this is a busy location with many, many customers, they need to get these poor girls some help. I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes. But longer than 30 minutes is a problem, especially when there are only 2-3 other people in the waiting room. How long does a blood draw take??

I'm pushing my doctors office to no longer work with them and use another, ethical company to work with! They were shocked that I was being required to pay that much money AGAIN! I had such a bad experience here. I tried making an appointment online only for the system to say…read morethat that appointment slot was already booked and to choose another time. So, I did, but every time I did I got the same error message. Then, about 5 minutes later all of the time slots that I had chosen were "accepted" and I got about 10 emails and text messages saying that my appointment was confirmed. I'm not sure if I ever did have an actual appointment but I went to this location anyways since I had to get a screening done before a certain day. When I went I wasn't able to ask anyone what was happening with their online system since you are only able to check in at a kiosk and there is no person working at the desk. After the time had passed that my appointment was for I tried asking someone working there what was going on (as they were walking another patient out) but they said to just wait. Eventually, I was able to be seen even though they claimed that I had never made an appointment even though I got a verifying text message and the kiosk even scanned my ID. When I was finally seen it was very rushed and I could barely understand what was going on and what I was supposed to do since the woman helping me was talking so fast. Overall, would highly recommend not going here if you can help it, although I've heard the Park Ridge, Peterson Ave and Milwaukee Ave locations are not much better.

My apparently was today 2-2-26 at 2pm. Apparently they open at 9 am and I get a call at 10:30 saying there is no doctor there that day (yet when I scheduled that day there was in fact a doctor going to be there) so you are telling me you don't know that your doctor isn't going to be there until the day of? Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. The day they take off would be a nice start to call the people who have done their part to make an appointment.
