They are still the best. Love Dr. Mass and Dr. Rubin. Thorough, knowledgeable and care about their patients. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Terrible wait time. Came in for C19 test. Scheduled for 11:45 and left 1:45. Lack of care and lack of customer service.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this urgent care facility. Despite being instructed…read moreby the call center to go to 9977 Woods Drive Skokie and arrive during their supposed open hours, the receptionist could not have been more rude and dismissive, claiming they stopped accepting patients at 3:30 PM. This contradicted the information I received from the call center when I asked to be sure they were open, causing unnecessary confusion and risk to my health. The receptionist (with short gray/yellow/purple hair named Stephanie at Woods Drive at 7:20 pm 12/11/2023) refused to acknowledge any responsibility, even calling the police when I expressed my frustration as she told me I HAD to speak nicely to her before she would see if there was anyone that could help me. The need for coordination between the facility and the call center is alarming, raising concerns about North Shore University Healthcare Systems' overall competence. The fact that urgent care was allegedly not accepting patients since 3:30 pm, the doors were still open at 7 PM, and patients were still being seen. When I asked the call center if I needed an appointment, he said no, it was Urgent Care, just go there. This experience has left me with a profound lack of confidence in the medical group and its recent mergers. I cannot recommend their services based on this and other recent situations. this is painfully unfortunate. Yet, they keep buying more hospitals. I also sincerely hope North Shore University Healthcare takes Stephanie's lack of responsibility seriously. Her dismissive and uncompassionate behavior, especially in a healthcare setting, raises serious concerns about her ability to handle the responsibilities of her role. Her lack of accountability and respect for the job, combined with the potential implications for someone's health and welfare, is alarming. I strongly recommend that the healthcare system reevaluate her suitability for such a crucial position before her actions cause more severe consequences for patients in need. This incident has underscored the importance of having staff who prioritize compassion and responsibility in healthcare settings.

A lady walked in and said , what is this dog in here for. The secretary said , she said it's a service dog. The lady, who must have been a nurse, said where's it's collar. I said it doesn't have a collar and I just need my tb test read. She said I am not doing anything until you put the dog in the car. BTW it is illegal to keep a dog locked in a car. I said I will sit in the car with the dog and you can text me when you can read my arm. She laughed at me and said we don't do that. She said if you walk out this door you will have to come back in and re-register and leave your dog in the car. I put my dog in the car and walked in and said I will not leave my dog in the car and she said , I don't like your attitude and I am not reading your arm. WTH Just ask nicely to come back without the dog and don't give me that attitude lady. My recruiter had to call another location and told them the issue and they took five minutes. This place is unprofessional and a joke they have the worst reputation and I will be reporting this lady to the police for telling me to leave my support dog in the car.

Lake Point urgent care should be the reference from which every other urgent care center is modeled: the facility is spotless but warm and inviting, the staff (especially clinical staff) are 10/10 on both medical proficiency and bedside manner, and you get answers and treatment...FAST. I don't understand why other urgent care centers...not to mention internal medicine offices...can't operate this smoothly. We typically get in and back at home with a diagnosis and filled prescription in about a hour. Dr Radovic, who owns the clinic and practices there I believe most days, is a top notch doctor who has consistently gone above and beyond for my wife and myself. If you live an hour away or less, you shouldn't go to any other urgent care.

The time between the nurse taking your vitals and the doctor seeing you is minimal (maybe another few minutes?). Every single person from the front desk, to the nursing staff to the doctor himself are incredibly kind and they actually listen. I've been places where doctors act like they know your body better than you and it's extremely frustrating. Dr Radovic isn't like that. He listens, he believes you, he doesn't say "it's probably just because you're fat" like a lot of doctors love to do to every problem. This place is a little out of my way but I come here exclusively now.

Astoundingly efficient office…read more The office is easy to locate and very clean. Some of the outside office waiting area furniture is a bit aged but still serviceable, I'd probably say they'll replace or refurbish the furniture in a year or so. The clinic rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained. The clinic rooms put the waiting area to shame. Intake nurses are polite and conversational. They're willing to take time to collect and explore medical history. The APN (care provider) is very efficient in their provision of care. They do not argue with a persons needs. They go above and beyond to make sure that the patient is the driving force in the room and the provider a validating and prescribing agent. Instead of the provider talking down to patients with chronic conditions the provider lets patients decide their care needs and aids the navigation. It's truly a collaborative care environment unlike some offices I've been in where providers are controlling and have the final say in everything. This is a prime go to clinic for most minor needs. That said it might not be a fit for more major needs. There's the large Des Plaines care center for more extensive needs such as the need for an on-site blood laboratory and point of care blood testing. For your basic sinus infections and pneumonias etc this office will do the job efficiently and quickly. For more involved rare organisms, you might want to consider the larger urgent care / outpatient center. Choose carefully based on the severity of your condition. Also, don't bother with instant quick care video visits. They'll just waste your time and have you go to urgent care. This clinic has been a go to for my healthcare for years and will remain that way.
