Made a 1pm appt for a sports physical and my son was seen at 2:30. They do not take insurance-- so paid high fee. All this to "save time". The individual staff members were fine. If you have insurance, book your sports physicals now with your primary doctor. Lesson learned. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any healthcare location while trying to bring my child in for care. My child has active Illinois Medicaid, and I completed all required intake forms online ahead of time, including entering insurance information. I drove about 45 minutes to this office specifically because it showed that my child's insurance was accepted, we were out of town, and I called beforehand to confirm they accepted the insurance. When I arrived, I was told by Devon at the front desk that the insurance could not be verified because I did not have a physical insurance card. I tried to explain that Medicaid members do not have physical cards and that all insurance details had already been submitted online prior to the visit. She advised me to fill out the paperwork before hand and when I arrived, I was told it did not matter and they did not care because the system does not transfer over. That should not affect me as a patient being that it's a clinical error, not patient error. Being that my son has had this insurance for 5 years, I have never been turned away or told they would not see my child due to not having a physical card. The online Medicaid system allows providers to look up people with name and date of birth. The front desk refused to do so. In fact, she laughed in my face and spun around in her chair. I asked what my options were so my child could still be seen, I was not given any answers. Due to the severity of my child, I had to ask if I could pay self-pay of $175 out of pocket in order to proceed, despite having active Medicaid coverage. This is not appropriate under Medicaid participation rules and regulations. I was also forced to ask what my options were multiple times because she dismissed me and my sick child and began talking to the next person in line. The interaction at the front desk felt dismissive, disrespectful and unhelpful, especially while I was there with a sick young child on a holiday weekend. There was no effort made to work through the insurance issue or offer alternatives. I have also filed an official complaint with both the company and Medicaid because if this experience happens to me, I cannot imagine how many more it has happen to. I advise if someone working at the front desk does not have basic efforts to help a sick patient, do not keep them. I hope this office improves how it handles Medicaid verification and patient communication, especially for families who are trying to access covered care. To make it worse, this woman was training other women and refused to help the line of 5 people. I understand how training works, but to be as dismissive to all those in line just because you did not feel like doing your job, very sad for this location. On the other hand, the provider was absolutely phenomenal, and it is a shame that others may not get to see her and her great quality of care because the lack of professionalism at the front desk. As someone who works in healthcare, I would be extremely embarrassed if this front desk was the face of the practice. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I went in there yesterday to get my tb test read. I had my emotional support dog with me and I sat in the corner. The secretary said it was fine. A lady walked in and said , what is this dog in here for. The secretary said , she said it's a service dog. The lady, who must have been a nurse, said where's it's collar. I said it doesn't have a collar and I just need my tb test read. She said I am not doing anything until you put the dog in the car. BTW it is illegal to keep a dog locked in a car. I said I will sit in the car with the dog and you can text me when you can read my arm. She laughed at me and said we don't do that. She said if you walk out this door you will have to come back in and re-register and leave your dog in the car. I put my dog in the car and walked in and said I will not leave my dog in the car and she said , I don't like your attitude and I am not reading your arm. WTH Just ask nicely to come back without the dog and don't give me that attitude lady. My recruiter had to call another location and told them the issue and they took five minutes. This place is unprofessional and a joke they have the worst reputation and I will be reporting this lady to the police for telling me to leave my support dog in the car. read more

I had an extremely frustrating and honestly concerning experience here. I came in for a rash on my leg and waited almost two hours, even though there were only 2-3 people in the waiting room. There was absolutely no sense of urgency. What made this worse is that I was misdiagnosed and given a prescription that actually made my condition worse. I later found out I had a very contagious infection and delaying proper treatment not only worsened it, but also put others at risk. My rash spread, I had to go somewhere else to be treated correctly, and I lost more time and money fixing a mistake that never should have happened. In a medical setting, accuracy matters. With so many urgent care options in the area, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I went in for a strep test because I wasn't feeling well. At first, things seemed fine as I had made a 12 PM appointment, completed my check-in online before I got there, and only waited about 15 minutes before being seen by the physician assistant at 12:05. She asked about my symptoms, medical history, performed the strep test, and said results would be ready in 5-7 minutes. Instead, I waited about 20 minutes before she returned, told me I needed a blood sugar level test, and then left again. Another 20 minutes later, she came back to say she hoped I didn't think they forgot about me and that the provider would be in soon. After yet another 20-minute wait, the provider finally came in -- only to tell me my strep test was negative (a "rapid" test that took nearly an hour and a half). She also asked me the exact same questions the physician assistant had already covered. I haven't been billed yet, but based on other reviews, I'm concerned the charges will be far higher than expected. I'll be going to a CVS MinuteClinic or anywhere else next time. read more

I called to see if this facility could administer an IV for fluids if one is dehydrated. I was told yes they could IF their doctor sanctioned the procedure. I went in and after meeting with the nurse and the PA, I was told they do not administer fluid intake via IV. I was lied to and wasted lots of time. read more

This is an update to my 3/12/2025 review. They replied to my negative review and indicated to email them and they would try to help. I emailed the same day with great detail about my issue. It is over a week later, still no response at all, not even an email confirming they received my email. Clearly this is just a Bot or AI response to pretend like they care when in fact they have absolutely no intention of trying to solve your issue. I had a billing concern and called the phone number on the bill. The person that answered referred me to send an email. I sent the email with all the attachments and received automated response that this email box is not monitored and that I need to call the number on the bill. I am really frustrated with the lack of customer service and working with my bank to cancel the payments issued that haven't been cashed by the provider. So yes they will treat you, but god forbid you need to call the billing for any reason. read more

Couple of things to consider. First facility: seems like an ADA violation as there is no handicapped entrance w a push pad (really hard to navigate when you're struggle to get inside due to an injury), the doorways barely allow a wheelchair barely which is ripe for further injury, they want you to do everything digitally which is cool if their Wi-Fi worked but it doesn't do here you are in pain snd the registration takes FOREVER. Second, if they can't get this detail right then you got to wonder -- the phone number on all of their paperwork is wrong. Yep wrong phone number. And they have a lousy inventory of necessary supplies. Third, they gave me the wrong size boot, said so in the paperwork and told me to call to work out an exchange. See no 2 above, and no one no one called me back. So now I wonder if I will get charged for their wrong boot that they ultimately wouldn't exchange and for the proper boot i eventually got from the ortho. Fourth, the PA was nice snd seemed competent. The nurse was way too inexperienced. Fifth, their off site radiologist way over read the X-ray, as confirmed by two other doctors. So would I go here for very minor stuff, sure if there was no wait. read more

Beware seeking treatment here. The care is fine but they completely overcharged me for a 20 minute visit for a fever and sore throat. The charges for this visit prior to insurance were almost $700 which is ridiculous! I still ended up paying over $400 for a short visit, a throat & nasal swab. When I tried to call and question and dispute the charges and how much they were, I was told "the charges were part of my insurance and subject to that deductible." I have no idea what that means, shouldn't the charges be the charges? I have visited other Urgent Care facilities for similar treatment and this facility charges were 5X more. Do not go here unless you don't care about your money and want to be grossly overcharged. Terrible!! read more
