I hate to rain on the 5-star parade here, but I pride myself on honest and diplomatic reviews. This location is located inside a very busy medical office building with tons of doctors and other labs and such. The staff is very nice here. However, I believe they are perhaps very understaffed. I have been here at least 2-3 times in the last 6 months for various blood runs, as it is located in the same building as my neurologist. Every single time I come to this location, have waited at least 30 minutes, if not longer. I know one time was like an hour because I was dying of boredom with no magazines nor cell reception. I guess I always assumed this was "normal" for a walk in blood lab. However, I recently went to another location (Peterson Ave. -closer to home) and I was in and out in 5 minutes. So, that said, I guess the feedback here is that if they are aware this is a busy location with many, many customers, they need to get these poor girls some help. I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes. But longer than 30 minutes is a problem, especially when there are only 2-3 other people in the waiting room. How long does a blood draw take?? read more

Despite for some of the negative/one star reviews I've read on yelp and google review, my experience there was quite pleasant. Appointment time 9am, and after checked in, a nurse staff called me. By 9.10am/9.15am, I am out of the clinic with test done. Staff was friendly to me. read more

Like most medical facilities especially places for blood draws are the worst. This Quest Diagnostics is the same. Tucked in one of the many of office parks in this parkway of Buffalo Grove, you can find this one. It's a walk in one which can be both a godsend and a headache all the same. I came here for my annual wellness blood draw through work. By 9am, the place was packed and the wait was long. Once I got in back, I went through the usual procedures with the tech. To best describe the staff and the environment, it's very clinical. You definitely feel like just another person in there for a blood draw. I'll come back in the future if it's necessary, but maybe next time I'll go to a place that schedules you. read more

Went there today for an ordered blood draw. I've had my share of bad draws but Sherry was awesome! She is the only person that draws there so you can be happy to know that you will be in good hands. Sometimes you feel the needle going in like it's a knife and other times it's barely a flutter on your skin. Sherry was super nice and very gentle so I barely felt a thing! There was no wait when I went around 10 AM. They are closed during lunch time so keep that in mind. You can look up their hours online on the Quest Diagnostic site. This location happens to be minutes from my work so it is super convenient! I told Sherry that I'll be going back to her for ANY and all tests that I don't have to get done at my doctor's office. Waited over an hour today (I was a walk in) for some routine blood tests to be done and the only reason I was taken was because the gentleman before me (he had an appt) gave me his turn. I probably would have been there closer to 2 hours or more otherwise. The staff is rude and they need someone on the front end to help with patient care. They also had no cell service inside their waiting room. Horrible experience!!!!! read more

I come to this particular location when I cannot get a convenient time at a closer Quest facility because this is a walk-in facility only. I usually come pretty early in the morning (before 8) so I don't have to wait too long. Typically 15 minute wait. Staff is friendly enough, and I can get in and out on my schedule. read more

Possibly the longest wait time I have ever experienced for lab work. At least an hour and a half wait and obviously very understaffed. While the employees for the quest department seem nice, those in the NCH side (in the same waiting room) are rude and very unhelpful. They are understaffed and the staff that works there are rude! The people having lab work done on the NCH side were in and out. 5 people were taken care of on that side before I was called in. They took their bell away (Please ring for service) Why would they do that? One has to sit there and wait until they grace us with their presence. When they did have the bell, the lady drawing my blood stopped what she was doing to go answer it - it was their lunch order being delivered! Testing at Quest is less expensive than at NCH, that is why I go to Quest. read more

I went to the Buffalo Grove walk-in clinic close to closing time at 330 pm, which was probably a mistake right there. The woman at the front desk, Melissa, was highly unprofessional, sitting there on her personal cell phone, blowing bubbles with her gum. They couldn't find my doctor in their system - he's a doctor from a major university hospital- and so she had to call up the university to get the doctor's information. She acted like this inconvenience was my fault, as the patient. She huffed and puffed as she waited on hold with the university health system. Quest Diagnostics, get your act together and get more customer service oriented staff members. read more

Slowwwwww.....Takes them at least 15 min to turn each patient. Inefficient and understaffed. If you plan to walk in for lab draws, plan at least 2 hrs or more. Go to another location....or will regret the waste of time. read more

This location is a joke. I had to wait 15 minutes to pick up a container to complete a urine collection test. Then I waited 40 minutes the following week to just drop off the test. That's way too long. They should have one person at the front always read more

This place is highly understaffed and very rude. For a minute, I thought as though they were doing some service for free.

Was there on a Saturday morning -- one of their busiest times because all who have to fast go at that time. One of the WORST experiences ever! They share office space with NW Hospital lab so it confuses people as to where to sign in and all the nasty Russian lady would do is bark at people to sign in an wait to be called, not willing at all to listen to question. And then some b!tch came in and said she had to go right away so she took her. Why do the rest of us have to be sacrificed. If this patient wanted to go first she should have been there long before opening at 8. On top of being nasty, this Russian lady is incompetent, more than once she had to as someone else to "help" her draw blood. Why is she there? She just makes a super slow service so much worse. THEY NEED COMPETENT STAFF AND A BETTER SYSTEM. read more

I am definitely not a fan of getting my blood work done. I went into quest quite anxious. I was met by a woman named Gail. She was extremely calming, an excellent blood drawer (is that a word) and had me feeling very safe and secure prior to the blood draw. Didn't feel a thing. She was excellent.
