I'm somewhat convinced these lab tests are designed more to see how much BS you'll go through for a job than trying to figure out whether or not you've been toking up. In fact, you'll almost wish you had some mellowing agents in your system because it's freaky and stressful. The building is outdated but there's plenty of parking. The elevators seem safe-ish and the actual LabCorp office has definitely seen better days. The waiting area is nothing special aside from the multiple signs all over that tell you what you can't do - specific hours for drug testing, no kids left alone, no camera phones, no guns. Two surly women worked the desk and basically pointed and barked orders the entire time. "Sign here! I need your ID! Sit down and wait!" It was pretty much the same process when my turn came. "Come with me! Shut the door behind you! Put your keys in here! Take your jacket off! Rinse your hands... NO SOAP!" Sweet baby Jesus, I hope I never get sent to prison. I wouldn't last. For a pre-employment drug screen you're expected to leave all your belongings in a locker, rinse your hands without soap, take a sterile tube, go into a bathroom that doesn't lock, pee into said cup (more than a certain amount but less than another certain amount), dry cup off and then hand it off to the employee. You're not allowed to flush until they inspect the bathroom and you can't wash your hands. You have to go back into the exam room and wash up there. It's tedious and nerve-rattling. There you initial the label on your sample and sign a bunch of paperwork. I made an appointment, so I was in and out quickly and couldn't have left in any more of a hurry. The place was just so off-putting and the lab ladies were so frigid. The drug screen bathroom was super janky, with handwritten DO NOT FLUSH labels barely hanging onto the lever, duct tape over the faucet and cardboard taped to the trash and sink so you can't use it. It's understandable but looks trashy and not at all clean. I recommend going to the Schaumburg location, if possible. I recall the woman working there being somewhat cold as well, but that was three years ago. Things may have changed. I do remember it being a much cleaner experience.

Then continued to literally keep talking even though I was clear I had a child in the car and needed to get going, fast forward she completely messed up the fingerprints after not shutting up the whole time and accusing me of some of the dumbest nonsensical things ive ever heard, now I have to go somewhere else and this girl wasted my time, go somewhere else bc you will have to anyways. Awful care and low quality service

Have had other offices ask me my name ask me everything as if they never saw me before. Tired of being treated like a random number. This office has the feel of a small family run business but the versatility of having a large corporate backing to get top notch equipment in the office. Today needed blood & papers for an upcoming procedure. They said they didn't have the papers, my other doctors office gave them faulty info, we left. I called the other office in the car en route another stop, managed to sort them out and have it faxed over to the clinic. Stopped at the clinic on the way home and they managed to squeeze in a few minutes with a nurse to grab the blood and a flash with the doctor to do the paperwork even though I was well past my appointment time today because the other office didn't send the papers to the right office. They'll go above and beyond to get things done if they can logistically handle it. Blood collection was easy and the nurse had my preferred type and gauge of needle, I know what needle my veins are good with because of how many blood drawings and procedural IV lines I have in a year. The overall clinic is a 5/5 except for when you have to do after hours answering service call ins. They tend to be a bit unreliable at getting the physician to phone back but they do eventually work after some prodding. Maybe the company will switch answering service vendors if they see more complaints about answering service problems.

I hate to rain on the 5-star parade here, but I pride myself on honest and diplomatic reviews. This…read morelocation is located inside a very busy medical office building with tons of doctors and other labs and such. The staff is very nice here. However, I believe they are perhaps very understaffed. I have been here at least 2-3 times in the last 6 months for various blood runs, as it is located in the same building as my neurologist. Every single time I come to this location, have waited at least 30 minutes, if not longer. I know one time was like an hour because I was dying of boredom with no magazines nor cell reception. I guess I always assumed this was "normal" for a walk in blood lab. However, I recently went to another location (Peterson Ave. -closer to home) and I was in and out in 5 minutes. So, that said, I guess the feedback here is that if they are aware this is a busy location with many, many customers, they need to get these poor girls some help. I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes. But longer than 30 minutes is a problem, especially when there are only 2-3 other people in the waiting room. How long does a blood draw take??

First of all I'd like to express concern over all the negativity surrounding this and many other…read morelab service provider locations. You're not reviewing the individual phlebotomist, if your phlebotomist is a bad needle navigator it's not Quest Diagnostics fault, complain to the manager so that bad phlebotomist can get remedial education or terminated. Don't be afraid to ask for someone else if they don't get a good draw on the first stick. Today I had a very good experience at Quest and will recommend this location to others. Checkin/Waiting Area: The checkin process is akin to an airline checkin kiosk. It's convenient and feels natural. It doesn't give a clinical feel. The waiting area is clean and clear of clutter and comfortable. Don't expect a long wait if you have a pre registered appointment, come 15 minutes before your appointment and scan in. I was called before my actual appointment time due to the pre registered status. Procedure Areas: The procedure rooms are well appointed for phlebotomy and lab procedures on all age groups. They have every type of needle and variant to make for a comfortable blood retrieval experience. Urinalysis retrieval is similar, they have well appointed toilet rooms. One of the bathroom doors needs servicing but it's fine since it's in a private bath hall with two bathrooms in parallel separated by a large urinalysis retrieval lab room. I would recommend that each toilet room get its own waste basket, currently the waste baskets are outside of each room. Billing: No rating given due to Medicare coverage. Automatic pass.

She called me an hour after I left and told me I needed to sign paper order because she had to manuallly enter the order after I left. I was not able to return to the clinic due to transporation. I was disapppointed and upset she breached confidentiality by sending me the documents that had PHI through her personal email. I did not sign and send it back because of the violation of the confidentiality. I have been going to Quest Diagnostics for over 2 decades and have never had an issue. This was the first time I visited this location and was extremely disappointed.
