You check in at a kiosk, and they work through appointments first, then walk-ins. If you are at all able, sign up for an appointment, as these will fill their schedule, and walk-ins will have to wait, sometimes quite a while! The staff I've worked with have been very friendly, professional and efficient. They are nice, but don't waste time with chit chat. They do a good job of what they are there for, and this is appreciated. The only negative is that if someone walks in and gets upset that others are being served before them, the staff is clearly not there to provide this kind of customer service. Be kind to yourself - and everyone - and register for an appointment!

Nesset Pavillion has been home base for our medical needs for many years now. We are very pleased…read morewith the services, staff, and the facility itself. I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I would just as soon take none of these drugs (I mean I'm not even getting high from them ) As it turns out its been over 1 year since my last physical so I figured I might as well have the tests done. I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

There are multiple reasons why I would not recommend these doctors. Through repeated personal…read moreexperiences, they never helped no matter what was wrong, but they made sure to take many unnecessary xrays at every visit, without even evaluating the issue first to see if they were needed. That makes them a lot of extra MONEY! Like probably tens of thousands of dollars, a day! On several occasions the care was dangerous in my opinion. After a hip surgery by Dr. Shah, the leg was VERY CROOKED! This caused a lot of pain in the knee. Another doctor jammed a needle in to "help" which worsened the pain significantly, and it never got better after that. They also lie about things being covered and in-network. They also manipulate you into thinking you need to pay for a bunch of extra things like protein shakes/meals and their personal physical therapy services. MONEY MONEY MONEY. No empathy. Oh and they also put broken bones back together very crooked and then blame the patient! Sick. And if you don't want to see a doctor who did things like this, they try to force you to see them again, and refuse to let you try another doctor, which I think is illegal.

Note that this place opens at 7:30 AM, not 7 AM, and your check-in process won't begin until then. Staff here are super friendly, and they do take their time with you. I just have to commend them that their restroom was super clean (that is, at least in the morning); the sink with soap is located outside of the restroom, though. Walk-ins are accepted, but making advance appointments can help you cut the queue; my recommendation is to go there as early as you can, so you can be in and out quickly.
