When the time came for the appointment, I met Allie at the facility and she was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helped me through the three scheduled tests (DEXA, RMR, VO2). She even coached me while I was on the treadmill for the VO2 to help me get those extra steps in. Great technician, top notch tools and super hygienic process overall. She printed the results immediately after the tests and went through each line item, one by one. Even though the appointment went slightly over the allotted time, she never rushed me or hesitated to answer my questions. All in all, this battery of tests was worth every penny. Not only was the experience seamless, the results now serve as the foundation for my fitness plan going forward. They say your body doesn't come with an instruction manual, but this comes awfully close! You get dozens upon dozens of metrics to help guide and adjust your future workout routines and eating habits. I will absolutely be recommending this to anyone who has fitness goals of their own. I ended up buying the 8-pack of credits to get these tests done in the future (wasn't pressured into doing so either, I did it to bring down the per-test cost).

My apparently was today 2-2-26 at 2pm. Apparently they open at 9 am and I get a call at 10:30 saying there is no doctor there that day (yet when I scheduled that day there was in fact a doctor going to be there) so you are telling me you don't know that your doctor isn't going to be there until the day of? Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. However, I believe they are perhaps very understaffed. I have been here at least 2-3 times in the last 6 months for various blood runs, as it is located in the same building as my neurologist. Every single time I come to this location, have waited at least 30 minutes, if not longer. I know one time was like an hour because I was dying of boredom with no magazines nor cell reception. I guess I always assumed this was "normal" for a walk in blood lab. However, I recently went to another location (Peterson Ave. -closer to home) and I was in and out in 5 minutes. So, that said, I guess the feedback here is that if they are aware this is a busy location with many, many customers, they need to get these poor girls some help. I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes. I had such a bad experience here. I tried making an appointment online only for the system to say…read morethat that appointment slot was already booked and to choose another time. So, I did, but every time I did I got the same error message. Then, about 5 minutes later all of the time slots that I had chosen were "accepted" and I got about 10 emails and text messages saying that my appointment was confirmed. I'm not sure if I ever did have an actual appointment but I went to this location anyways since I had to get a screening done before a certain day. When I went I wasn't able to ask anyone what was happening with their online system since you are only able to check in at a kiosk and there is no person working at the desk. After the time had passed that my appointment was for I tried asking someone working there what was going on (as they were walking another patient out) but they said to just wait. Eventually, I was able to be seen even though they claimed that I had never made an appointment even though I got a verifying text message and the kiosk even scanned my ID. When I was finally seen it was very rushed and I could barely understand what was going on and what I was supposed to do since the woman helping me was talking so fast. Overall, would highly recommend not going here if you can help it, although I've heard the Park Ridge, Peterson Ave and Milwaukee Ave locations are not much better.
