Small portions for a pricey cost and the food is only alright. Please, you are better off eating at Burger King

Good food, although I find the caesar salad dressing to be a little too heavy in anchovy for my tastes. For hotel food, it's really good.

Meanwhile, waitstaff and bar staff were fully aware I was standing there and chose to completely ignore me. Not a single greeting, no acknowledgment--nothing. After being blatantly ignored, I finally sat myself at the bar, thinking someone would at least step in at that point. Still nothing. No one came over, no one offered service--it was like I didn't exist. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the place wasn't busy at all. There is absolutely no excuse for service this poor when staff clearly have the time to do their jobs. To top it off, there was no manager or supervisor in sight, which says a lot about how this place is run. I was actually recommended to come here and drove 25 minutes just to be treated like this--completely not worth it. I will not be recommending this location to anyone. I may try a different location, but this one clearly has serious issues with customer service and basic professionalism.

My partner and I came here for date night, and the experience was... honestly a mix of good and…read morereally frustrating. We both decided to get boils, the seafood specialty. I went with the snow crab and he had the shrimp, and we both got the Hook N Reel special sauce. The food itself was actually quite tasty. The seasoning was flavorful, the seafood was cooked well, and everything was served hot. I genuinely enjoyed the flavor of my meal. Unfortunately, my partner ended up getting food poisoning after eating, which really put a damper on the night. I'm not sure if it was a one-off issue or something else, but it definitely made the experience complicated for us. While I personally didn't have any issues with the food, it's hard to ignore that this happened. The vibe of the restaurant is pretty standard for a seafood spot, it has that casual, nautical feel with fishing nets, crabs, and other decorations scattered throughout. It's not anything particularly unique, but it fits the theme and gives the place a fun, casual seafood restaurant energy. The service, unfortunately, was a major downside. Our waitress was honestly pretty rude, and it was clear she didn't want to be there. When we told her we were ready to order, she walked away mid-sentence and didn't come back for another 20 minutes. While she was at the table, she kept rushing off while we were still talking to her, and this was despite the fact that we were her only table at the time. It made the experience feel really awkward and unwelcoming. Overall, I think this place has potential, the food can be very tasty, and the casual seafood vibe is fun, but the service really dragged down the experience. I would like to come back to give it another try, but the combination of the poor service and my partner's food poisoning makes me hesitant to fully recommend it without some improvements.

Our server, Malik, was so professional, courteous, engaging, gave us great suggestions and our meal experience was even better with him as our server! We ordered the Happy Hour cocktails of lemon drop martinis and a regular martini. Ordered a half-dozen of the Pearl oysters and they were so yummy, we ordered another half-dozen. Well-presented and delicious! We then ordered the Nantucket Risotto (only been on the menu for 2 weeks), the Blue Island Diver's Platter (ask for the octopus), a Happy Hour Crispy Slider and Fish Taco. We combined this with a glass of white wine and red wine. The meal was absolutely fabulous and we then finished this spectacular meal with sharing a key lime pie. Once again, Malik made this meal even better with his genuine smile, attentiveness and efficiency. Make sure you sign up for their Loyalty Rewards program and they offer a great inexpensive weekday 3-course Power Lunch.

I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.
